My mother died last year of post-surgery complications (of her cancer) at the age of 63. She needed dialyses and doctors refused her transport to the dialysis station because she just had a chance of 30% of overall survival. In Germany the system earned harsh critizism because the system was in such a bad shape that doctors didnt know if they get the funding for advanced therapies and in most of the cases didnt even try to apply anymore that cost the lives of approximately 5000 cancer patients last year in Germany. As of now they are about to change the whole system but too late for my mother I am in absolute state of hate towards some doctors but also shocked because 63 is no age to die nowadays..

Jon, I am so sorry about your loss. You only have one mother and losing her is the worst. Hearing you speak about it eerily brought me back to 6 months ago when my mom also passed away from cancer at 64. The pain is indescribable. But what helped me a lot was paying tribute to her at her funeral by speaking about her life, our relationship and having recorded a song for her that went together with beautiful pictures of her. I lost my dad 2 months ago and i feel your pain my friend. My dad spent 3 months in the icu after a sudden heart attack and didn't pull through. It has been the hardest thing i've ever had to deal with, just know that the despair you feel now will lessen overtime and that it's ok to feel anything and everything. I still cry for my dad everyday and I never stop missing him, but dealing with the pain and grief has slowly gotten easier. Sending love to you and your family.

Man, it's so hard. In the last couple of days 3 of my friends lost a loved one. Makes me really sad, because i know that would happen to me someday. Im 18 now and i have lost 2 of my grandparents when i was 5, i didn't really realize or feel it enough to know the feeling of loosing someone you love and i am yet to experience it. I really care about other peoples struggles and that can kill me sometimes. I hope you can get over the loss, stay strong.🙏

I recently lost my grandfather to cancer. I am so sorry for what you're going through man. I get paid tomorrow and will donate as much as I can, my family is also "not wealthy" so to speak and were it not for a dear family friend we would not have been able to give him the funeral he deserved. Stay strong but let it out as much as you can. I cried for three days straight and had not cried in seven years before that.
Don't ever forget that this hurts so much because you loved her the same ammount (surely even more!). Losing someone is never easy, but the pain serves as a reminder of how much you cared and how much you did for her. I'm sure you'll have the chance to meet her again, never stop believing this.

I lost my mom to cancer back in 09 man, it’s very very hard and to be completely honest even though it’s been 14yrs now it still hurts the same. I don’t know if you’re religious but my man that’s the only thing that kept me going, knowing I’ll see my momma again one day keeps me strong enough to continue. God is good I know everyone has their own beliefs and that’s fine but if you haven’t give God a try man, worst thing that could happen is you find out it isn’t your cup of tea. Be strong brother and know that many people are thinking about you and praying for you too. ✌️

I lost my mom from cancer at 18, and then my grandma just 5 years later. It is a painful and numbing experience, but seeing that your gofundme has already surpassed its goal is beautiful. I hope you can give your mom the funeral she deserves, and that you can take solace in the fact that she was proud and grateful to have you as her son

Dude I’ve never seen any of your videos but this one popped up on my suggestions. I lost my mom to cancer back in 09 man, it’s very very hard and to be completely honest even though it’s been 14yrs now it still hurts the same. I don’t know if you’re religious but my man that’s the only thing that kept me going, knowing I’ll see my momma again one day keeps me strong enough to continue. God is good I know everyone has their own beliefs and that’s fine but if you haven’t give God a try man, worst thing that could happen is you find out it isn’t your cup of tea. Be strong brother and know that many people are thinking about you and praying for you too. ✌️

Always a reminder that we have very limited time here, so use that time to lift up those you love and make the world a better place for as many as you can.
