UNsubbed and REsubbed. I get tired of youtube channels and hosts pretty easily but don't really get tired of MotoMan. He is intelligent without being pompous, slightly humorous, well spoken and culturally aware. Love this guy!
I drive a 2005 E66 740Li. Between the choices given, the Ghost would be the only option. Doesn't really matter if the S or 7 is a better car, the RR will always trump the other brands assuming its the same price. My personal aspiration is for a B7, but very hard to find second hand at a decent price in right hand drive. The Ghost will always have a high residual value due to the RR brand, but second hand the M760i will likely represent the best value for money between the S65, B7 and Ghost in a few years time. Either that or an S8 which will likely be cheaper again. Excellent review as always Motoman, your head for figures always astounds me!
I live in Grayson GA and drive a 2017 BMW X5. If money wasn't an option, I'd get the RR. But if it was, I'd go with the M760i. It's beautiful and timeless in that color option. 😇
To be honest the interior does look a little cheaper than the standard leather in the S class although this is the top of the range spec of a 7 series. Im a X5 owner myself but if u do option for the Designo nappaleather in the S class youll start seeing what makes the S class special. I do believe that the S class has the best interior quality when it comes down to a mass produced vehicle.
I'm from Iraq and by now you should know that I have a 2014 Kia Optima EX -dare I say with luxury trim here??- Definitely the RR, there's no replacement for luxury since you already mentioned the weight issue none of these cars would take out out a GT-R...luxury it is
The 760 is simply stunning. Not really a fan of the Frozen dark brown, but hey it stands out. And I love the interior! The Poplar wood looks so much better in real life shots. That's a tough one, M! I'd totally pick a 760 Individual over the S-class family, A8W12 & the Flying Spur. But honestly I can't pick the 760 over the Ghost. Speaking of Rolls, whatya think of the new Phantom?
I drive the BMW 340i GT now. Going to make a change and cannot decide between a 2017-2018 Alpina B7, BMW M760xi, or Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Turbo. Which one would you do?
M760Li - AU425,000 S65 - AU$492,000 Ghost - AU$675,000 I'd have the S65. Here in Australia all three are crazy expensive (see above), but the BMW will plummet in value much quicker than the Mercedes. Luxury aside, the Ghost offers almost no gadgets for the $, and has very limited support (2 service centres in Sydney, one of which is a BMW dealership). None of them can claim to be truly reliable, but from my experience and what I've seen, the Mercedes is the least likely to leave you stranded. However if I wanted a luxurious European daily, I'd probably settle for an Audi S8. It's a relative bargain at AU$282,000 and there's just 'something' about that car that makes me love it. This coming from a LONG time Mercedes fan!
Of the M760i(L), the S65, or the Roller Ghost, I would ALMOST choose the Roller. Why? Of the three, the Ghost is the most bespoke, with many more exterior and interior options. HOWEVER, since I am not an ostentatious person, I would choose the BMW over the others. The same powerful engine as the Roller, and I would think, a better handling and FASTER car than the MB S65. (Still, I would really, really, choose the B7...) I currently drive a MB E350 station wagon.
I drive a car with a 1 liter engine which produces 75 bhp & I have never seen a car with v12 engine.....you what me to answer the BMW Vs Merc Vs rr question?...the Merc looks elegant ...so I will go for it
I hate the 7 series new style but with this paint and M styling....it looks awesome, like the batmobile for some reason. Reminds me of the 90s cartoon batman car.
I live in FL and drive a Lincoln. I did have an X3 xdrive28i and it was an awesome car to drive. I feel Mercedes are ugly (especially from the rear) and RR would be too ostentatious and gaudy. BMWs, to my mind, is classic and clean lines. I would vote for this car out of the three mentioned, but I don't care for the color. They do make a blue that's nice. I'd have to hit the lotto to own one, but the M760iL is too gaudy for my taste,. I do appreciate luxury, so maybe I would choose either a 750iL or the 550i and/or the X5 xdrive50i. My favorite luxury feature? Head up display. I so enjoyed that on the X3.
I currently drive a8l w12 but I am gonna change it with M760li for your question Rolls Royce ghost is not a competitor to this car ghost is above and beyond to cars that you told I will of course choose ghost but for the reason that I told I would choose M760
I'm from Malaysia and based on the road and traffic condition and etiquette, preference would be the S65AMG or maybe the S600 as it'll stand out from design, gives a better luxurious perception from brand presence
Forgive me, but... why in God's good name would you do a review of the rear seat accoutrements on such a fine vehicle WITHOUT the A/C turned on?! Hard to pity your discomfort knowing you have that option. Kumo MUST have had the same thought! OTHERWISE, what an awesome vehicle! I live in the northern most area of Sacramento County here in the People's Republik of Kalifornia and drive a very nicely appointed Lexus GS that also sports a terrific back seat environment. Can't wait for the full drive review of this M760il! As an aside, I'm always amused with all of the BMW hater's who can't wait to spew their collective jealous venum. FYI... The BMW 7 series gets some of the highest consumer ratings with any number of entities not affiliated with BMW corporately. Just thought you'd like to know going forward.
Not quite sure what the reason for this car? To compete with a Bentley? I guess the BMW "fanatic" want's this car, but otherwise I'd rather have the B7 as a daily driver!
with this new 760 LI, there is little to no difference between it and the Ghost other than the badge. They both have the same chassis and engine, the BMW has more gadgets too
Grant Rodgers only better if you want to be flashy this is a gentlemens car i like the benz but ill take the bmw just because it doesnt scream HEY LOOK AT ME IM A BENZ
I think the point he was making was that the E63 is so well implemented that despite being a category lower, it's still close enough to the 7 series that you might as well drive the 63.
UNsubbed and REsubbed. I get tired of youtube channels and hosts pretty easily but don't really get tired of MotoMan. He is intelligent without being pompous, slightly humorous, well spoken and culturally aware. Love this guy!
Fantastic analysis, although way beyond my pocket.
I drive a Citroen Van ,smallest possible, with my cleaning equipment, which is ten years old.
I swear so underrated and understated i love em so low key
Yes yes impressive car but...man, that dog is beautiful!
Man ur so good at what you do
BTW, another really good tech review. Your partner in crime (the dog) is a great addition to your videos. Hurry up with the road test vid, please!
S65 i think the interior is more luxurious and it has more advance tech love your show keep up the great work

The 7 series you buy when you want to drive, the S class you get when you want comfort and the RR you get when you want to impress.
S65, Great Interior, Working currently in Florida, driving a 2017 E400
thanks for reviewing this v12 it is different than the others
I live in Grayson GA and drive a 2017 BMW X5. If money wasn't an option, I'd get the RR. But if it was, I'd go with the M760i. It's beautiful and timeless in that color option. 😇
Man this car is beautiful
If by beautiful you mean pigfat and too big.
I love your tech reviews , very in depth ! Respect
Love your dog. 💕 so well behaved as well!
Oh and I'd have the Ghost in Dark Sapphire, the same color you got a while back
To be honest the interior does look a little cheaper than the standard leather in the S class although this is the top of the range spec of a 7 series. Great Review!.
BMW m760i xdrive! Easy! I love bmw driving dynamic and luxury! I currently drive 2011 bmw 5 series.
I'm from Iraq and by now you should know that I have a 2014 Kia Optima EX -dare I say with luxury trim here??-
Definitely the RR, there's no replacement for luxury since you already mentioned the weight issue none of these cars would take out out a GT-R...luxury it is
Actually quite nice.

Aren't all pistons aluminum? Or at least some aluminum alloy?
If money's no object, I'm going with the Rolls.
Hailing from the South Bay of Los Angeles, CA.
Driving a 2011 Maserati Granturismo that I bought CPO.
V12 + AWD in a Sedan, that is quite unique. I don't know of anything like it other than W12 S8.
I would choose the RR of the 3 Marquees Currently drive a 2012 991.1 with a manual and a 2011 F150 Limited.
M760Li - AU425,000
S65 - AU$492,000
Ghost - AU$675,000
I'd have the S65. Here in Australia all three are crazy expensive (see above), but the BMW will plummet in value much quicker than the Mercedes. Bob808 Are You telling me a Mercedes aka taxi does not plummet in value?...Only a Rolls Royce doesn't...
Stunning vehicle, but I’d go for the RR Ghost, because why settle. Charleston, SC. Lexus ES, and a BMW 330 convertible.
had / got all 3 , M760 best (got 2 ) by far the best ! merc bin sold ,RR GHOST going soon !

What is it that you say in German at the end?
Stuttgart, Germany
Mark Paul "Bis später" which would be something like "see you later". Literally translated "until later".
I hate the 7 series new style but with this paint and M styling....it looks awesome, like the batmobile for some reason. Reminds me of the 90s cartoon batman car.
What About a G65 tho ? U only had a S65 AMG Coupé or ?
My e90 doesn't have a dipstick either. Thought that was just the was it was with bmw
I would pick the Porsche Panamera Turbo S hybrid. From San Diego. I drive mk6 GTI
I live in FL and drive a Lincoln. I did have an X3 xdrive28i and it was an awesome car to drive. I feel Mercedes are ugly (especially from the rear) and RR would be too ostentatious and gaudy. the bmw m760 of course all wheel drive I live in Michigan
M760 - luxury line over the RR cs doesnt stand out so much... (no mercedes in my house allowed :P)
X5 40e - Graz, Austria
I currently drive a8l w12 but I am gonna change it with M760li for your question Rolls Royce ghost is not a competitor to this car ghost is above and beyond to cars that you told I will of course choose ghost but for the reason that I told I would choose M760
I want to see this against Audi S8 plus
Tony Bennet is the man
This 760i weighs 5,015 lbs
The S600 without the fancy carbon weighs 5,082 lbs
worth it? lol
I'm from Malaysia and based on the road and traffic condition and etiquette, preference would be the S65AMG or maybe the S600 as it'll stand out from design, gives a better luxurious perception from brand presence
Richard Gomez It's just your personal perception. BMW is just as prestigious of a brand as MB.
BMW m550i please...
flying spur 2017 w12
I pick 2017 Panamera turbo over BMW, Ghost, Benz
i Like color to much
It looks like a smoke gray.
International System would be more appropriate
I drive a fiat 500 abarth. ( It's stylish and kinda cute... but horrible quality issues. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone )
“I love me some wood”
Forgive me, but... why in God's good name would you do a review of the rear seat accoutrements on such a fine vehicle WITHOUT the A/C turned on?! The torque in this car is 590 pound feet ! Exactly half the bugatti chirons 1180 pound feet of torque !!
Easy...RR Ghost over the MB & BMW...well because it's a RR. Currently drive a Toyota Tacoma in SC.
Mark Paul the RR is just a double the price, glorified 7 series or one could say the 7 series is a "budget" RR. If £150k could be called budget :)
with this new 760 LI, there is little to no difference between it and the Ghost other than the badge. They both have the same chassis and engine, the BMW has more gadgets too
Rolls Royce Ghost for sure over both of them.
not 601 but 610
Íd take an audi a8 w12 not as modern but cheaper and lighter and lik understated and fast- living germany and driving a vw cc
Dude, if it is hot in there turn on the car and AC.
The car is beautiful. That colour is hideous. The range of colours for this car is very limited.
Actually it's pretty much unlimited, stubones
rolls royce because comfort
This can cant fit my life style , simply because its a sedan with almost no ground clearance , so i think am happy with my jeep
Not bad, but S class is the winner
Make mine in chocolate,. said NO ONE! Yuck.
I drive a Ford Connect van. My choice would be ...have the cash. Clear my mortgage and retire.
New audi a8 is a lot nicer inside!
goodbye rs7
I did not like the watching btw idea
New updated S65. Better interior, WAY better looks, and it’s an AMG
And costs $70k more.
Grant Rodgers only better if you want to be flashy this is a gentlemens car i like the benz but ill take the bmw just because it doesnt scream HEY LOOK AT ME IM A BENZ
Just remember NEVER to buy it used
Ok auto
For the price, the E63 AMG S might be a better purchase.
The upcoming M5 will be an even better one.
Why comparing an E-Class to a BMW 7?
GL HF you're drunk. Different category altogether fool
UltraSupra no
I think the point he was making was that the E63 is so well implemented that despite being a category lower, it's still close enough to the 7 series that you might as well drive the 63.
Sorry. While the car is handsome, it is NOT stunning. It's not a remarkable design at all. It's
