- Veterans Day is the day America recognizes all veterans--Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Coast Guardsmen. Our veterans selflessly served with honor, a shared purpose and sacrifice for the common good. The U.S. Air Force Band is committed to honoring our veterans. Our latest release, This Flag, pays tribute to all who wore the uniform in service to our country and we thank those who continue to serve. Our veterans have faced different challenges over the years, but each one paid the same price--being away from family; putting duty, honor, and country above personal gain in support of freedom.

The American flag stands for everything what is good and just ! Look how the Kovich family loved the American flag. Ron as a little kid was on every parade and he dreamed of being part of the defenders and fighters for a better world. A world wit smiles and a world with freedom.

As a two year cadet i defended the flag and school for this reason as well i am proud to led a group of young men and women who chose to sign up thinking they were going to serve in the real thing and turns out theirs more than one way to serve your country and defend it i am proud to say i served honorably i wanted to go in and serve but i am a afraid my medical conditions may prevent me to sign up now i am currently making Junior ROTC videos for those who wanted to know more and those who never were given the opportunity to see what this program would do i am in fact proud to be watching TheUSAfBand for more encouragement and as a reminder why i signed up for air force junior reserves program in the first place i did not signed up to look cool i wanted better and am proud my commanders showed us your channel because it defiantly has a huge impact on the people of a america

When you are out of your country of birth; You thank God of your privileges and rights that dictatorial countries wish that they had! Yes we have our faults but tell me what country does not? I served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and during the 1982 Beirut barracks being destroyed that killed 281 US. Marines. I would do it al over many times again as true patriotism is always in the heart. Politicians come and go but our brothers and sisters in uniform are part of the flag that she'd blood so we can all enjoy what we have today and by God's Blessing tomorrow and the future to come! Freedom is not free! Lest We Forget!
