16:49 woah why did that Ryder person break in the video like that?! Jokes aside, great video Albert! I had a lot of fun setting this collab up with you on this video and my wave 5 predictions video! 😊
And we have DK Summit in there too which clashes with DK Mountain both being tracks where you got shot to the top of a mountain by a cannon with both having very similar track layouts
@@RockStudios15Well, except now mobDK is not Donkey Kong now because it was confirmed to be Piranha Plant Pipeline. In other words, DK stood for dokan in the case, so that uppers our chances for DK Mountain. Of course, Dino Dino Jungle is still possible and I would be satisfied with that too.
What I always liked with double dash is that some of the courses are connected and you can see parts of others in courses like peach beach and yoshi circuit having the daisy circuit in the water, mushroom city being seen from mushroom Bridge and vice versa along with dk mountain being in Dino Dino jungles background. It just feels like nice a small easter egg which you don't get too much anymore aside from the koopa rock in sunshine airport track
DK Mountain is also in Baby Park. NOT ONLT THAT!! But BROKEN PIER's background is seen in Bowser's Castle so this implies that Broken Pier is near this iteration of Bowser's Castle.
To be honest Dry Dry Desert is a really good track when you take away all the unnecessary space they had in MK8DX for example, making the Double Cash version really good in my opinion
Double Dash's Rainbow Road is from what I've seen one of the least talked about courses in any Mario Kart game and I never really understood why. It's one of my favorites and at the time Double Dash released it was the most innovative Rainbow Road. I'd go as far as to say it's more unique than DS Rainbow Road and although Wii Rainbow Road was pretty unique, I think this one stands out to me a bit more. Can't wait for this one to get a remake, but it'll probably be a good while until then.
Wario Colosseum is one of the best Mario Kart tracks of all time. It truly feels like a roller coaster! Also, I’m sad Dino Dino Jungle isn’t in the BCP. It’s so much better than DK Mountain :-/
I personally don't understand why Sherbet Land is so hated because of the slippery ice, I've never had a problem with the ice, even when I played as a kid really. It's actually my favorite track in the whole series 😛
50CC Luigi Circuit always has a median separating the two sides of the track but the rest of the CCs remove it. Idk why they did that, I guess so it’s easier and less chaotic or something.
Wario Colosseum is one of my favorite courses in the entire series. It's easily my favorite in the game and only gets beaten by a couple tracks, namely Big Blue and Wii Rainbow Road.
I hate to break it to you pal. But remember in wave 4 when we all thought there was a 100% chance of getting in because it was a fan favourite and was in Tour. Only for wave 4 to bring in DS Mario circuit instead. I have a depressing feeling that It’ll happen to Daisy Cruiser and we’ll get GCN Luigi circuit instead.
@AlbertBoris If Nintendo ever does a "Metropolis Tour" - a tour centering around tracks in metropolises (New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro, etc.)... The Retro Track, GCN Mushroom City, will definitely be perfect as a debut course for a "Metropolis Tour" in Mario Kart Tour. And the Spiny Cup in Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass would be the perfect place for GCN Mushroom City to be in, especially if Athens Dash kicks off the Spiny Cup (on account of Athens Dash mostly taking place more on Atehns' famous ancient ruins rather than the city itself). That will make Mushroom City the "City Track to end all City Tracks".
Coming out with the heat and baby park! I mostly agree though, it's at its best in Double Dash and when you're not thinking too much about it. Sherbet Land would've been great without the ice physics
Luigi Circuit = Best Starter Track Ever Baby Park = Most Chaotic Track Ever Dry Dry Desert = Best Desert Track Ever Mushroom Bridge & Mushroom City = Both Best Cars Tracks Ever Yoshi Circuit = Best Yoshi Track Ever DK Mountain = Best DK Track Ever Wario Colosseum = Best Wario/Waluigi Track Ever (Gotta Admit Waluigi Pinball from MKDS is also incredible) Bowser's Castle = Best Bowser's Castle Ever What can i say more about MKDD tracks ? Oh yeah Rainbow Road is also an absolute legendary and beauty track but sadly i prefer the MKWii version a bit, best one ever made. MKDD's one is 2nd best in my opinion.
Here are my Hidden Gems in The SNES/N64 Mario Kart Era 10. SNES Vanilla Lake 2 9. SNES Mario Circuit 4 8. SNES Ghost Valley 3 7. SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 6. SNES Rainbow Road 5. N64 Frappe Snowland 4. N64 Royal Raceway 3. N64 DK’s Jungle Parkway 2. N64 Banshee Boardwalk 1. N64 Bowser’s Castle
Bowsers Castle at number 8 just isn't right to me. Similar to what you said it is the most important Bowser's Castle track has it literally is a template that is used by future bowser's castle tracks, its theme is increadible the feeling you get when you race is amazing and honestly its a really good difficulty. Its also has a unique feature that no track ever has had or has and that is that when you are hit by an item or fall off the stage Bowser's laughing appeares in the backround
Yoo! Great Vid Mate, I've been working on a Ranking of the Double Dash Tracks myself and am excited to see our differences in the places we have put our tracks. It's the best game ever created in my opinion so very hyped for this video!
Here are My Ranking of all Mario Kart: Double Dash Tracks- 16. Baby Park: (The Track itself is boring to play but I appreciate that the Item System works unlike in DS which is worse than it was in the original) 15. Luigi Circuit: (The Opening Courses are usually just boring but what makes GCN Luigi Circuit stand out is that the roads are interconnected, the chain chomps, the boost ramps, the alternate routes, the Luigi blimp, and even the Luigi’s Mansion is in this track which makes it very interesting and unique) 14. Mario Circuit: (The Nature Theme makes it better than the other two) 13. Dry Dry Desert: (Unlike in MK8, The GCN version is underrated because the aesthetic looks good, the pokeys, the tornadoes, and even the quicksand that has a Sarlaac work well as obstacles, and the music sounds dangerous! Dry Dry Desert deserves so much respect than how everyone treats it) 12. Peach Beach: (Im glad they made a beach track based on one of My Favorite Mario Characters of all time, Princess Peach! The music is charming, the track itself is based on Isle Delfino from Super Mario Sunshine! The Cataquacks work well as obstacles even when they sometimes can get annoying, the pipe shortcut which was absent in MKWii is cool because it gives platers double items! This track feels so immersive and it’s even based on Long Beach, Puerto Penasco, and Even Laguna Shores from California and Mexico) 11. Sherbet Land: (Even though I agree with everyone that the Ice Physics along with the Controls are at their absolute worst in this game, I can’t bring myself to dislike this track because I really like the atmosphere especially with the music and the night skybox which pop out so much! The Enemies like the Skating Shy Guys and even the water also work well as obstacles here except for the Freezies when immobilize players, they have their karts go haywire! If it wasn’t for the uncontrollable gameplay and the Freezies that send players haywire, this track could’ve been an A or S-Tier) 10. Yoshi Circuit: (This is My Favorite of the GCN Circuits! What makes Yoshi Circuit stand out is that the layout is in a Shape of a Yoshi! This track also does a great job with shortcuts like the shortcut that later become a waterfalls in MK8 and the Secret Tunnel Shortcut which was sadly absent in DS and MK8! The Yoshicopter from Yoshi’s Island also makes an appearance here along with Daisy Cruiser! The Only thing that could’ve put Yoshi Circuit in the A-Tier is that the enemies from Yoshi’s Island could’ve been here and the aesthetic is also a missed opportunity for a basic generic aesthetic but Yoshi Circuit is still a Fun Track just one that is a bit of a wasted opportunity) 9. Mushroom Bridge: (This track may have a generic theme but what makes this one an A-Tier track is that this track has potential for shortcuts and alternate routes like the hard bridge shortcuts, the pavements, the shortcut that made it to DS, and the Pipe Shortcut! Another thing why this track is great is the vehicles work so well as obstacles, and this track reminds me of Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, California) 8. Mushroom City: (Even though it doesn’t have the shortcuts and alternate routes like its predecessor, Mushroom City makes up for a nighttime aesthetic which looks so beautiful and the Paths you can pick to drive! I sometimes go to Phoenix to go to the Fan-Fusion with My Dad and Sister) 7. Bowser’s Castle: (This track has the Best Atmosphere in Any Bowser’s Castle Tracks! What I appreciate about this track is that the Mechanical Bowser Shoots Fireballs in left, right, left, right which can be very hard to avoid, the dancing signs are also there but it’s still a simple track but I love it) 6. Waluigi Stadium: (The Music is amazing, the dancing signs are here, the sunset is perfect here, but I do wish that the piranha plants attack you because it makes it very easy and yeah the ramps aren’t that fun here like they were in the Later Mario Kart Games but I still love it) 5. DK Mountain: (The Music may not be that great and yeah I wished that it took place inside a volcano which was a missed opportunity but DK Mountain is still a great track and the turns can be very hard and the falling boulders and shortcuts work well here just wished that it could take place inside a volcano just like what GBA Lakeside Park in MKTour could’ve been but dissatisfied fans) 4. Dino Dino Jungle: (This track is My Most Nostalgic One in the Game! What makes me prefer this over DK Mountain is that it has more interesting to play like avoiding Noshi stomping on players, geysers, and even taking place inside a cave which DK Mountain missed with a Volcanic Cave! This track is an S-Tier for me and I love it so much) 3. Wario Colosseum: 2. Daisy Cruiser: 1. Rainbow Road:
I knew it. I knew that you’d put Dino Dino Jungle over DK Mountain I literally predicted it on the community page lol Not gonna lie I love both but I have to agree with Ryder and your twin that DK Mountain should be in 8 Deluxe over Dino Dino Jungle. Not only is it my favorite track (and the fact you predicted Mario Circuit over my second favorite track which is awkwardly setting up another disappointment), but like I think Dino Dino Jungle would just be kind of dated compared to DK Mountain. Dino Dino Jungle I feel would be way easier in 8 Deluxe since the dinosaur no longer spins you out and the geysers no longer launches and slows you down making the course way less interesting imo. That’s also not to say it was probably made for Tour’s launch with it being ported from MK7 when DK Mountain was just randomly dropped in Tour probably with the BCP in mind. You could say DK Mountain got easier too but it’s obstacles are still at least difficult unlike DDJ’s nerfed obstacles.
I never played double dash, only there remade tracks in DS, Wii, 7 and 8. My favourite DD tracks (from the remakes I’ve played) is Dino Dino jungle from Mario kart 7. 7 lighting cup my favourite cup in the series btw 💛 The track I really want to try is rainbow road, 3DS rainbow road is my all time favourite track ever but I’m 100% interested in DD rainbow road 💛
Here are my Hidden Gems of the GBA/GCN Era of Mario Kart 10. GBA Cheep Cheep Island 9. GBA Snow Land 8. GBA Yoshi’s Desert 7. GBA Bowser’s Castle 4 6. GBA Rainbow Road 5. GCN Dry Dry Desert 4. GCN Mushroom Bridge 3. GCN Dino Dino Jungle 2. GCN Rainbow Road 1. GCN Wario’s Colosseum
Honestly, DS really doesn't have much of a charm IMO, it mostly looks bad (especially character models) and the tracks aren't all that good like everyone says they are.
@@sevenoxia7199 Fully agree. DS looks so incredibly bland and sterile, IMHO. 8DX and Wii (which honestly isn't my personal favourite visually, but still a great game) have much more character than DS. I'd even say Tour looks more appealing, which I really hate to say.
My rankings: 16: Mario Circuit 15: Luigi Circuit 14: Yoshi Circuit 13: Dry Dry Desert 12: Baby Park 11: Waluigi Stadium 10: Bowser's Castle 9: Mushroom Bridge 8: Peach Beach 7: Dino Dino Jungle 6: DK Mountain 5: Wario Colosseum 4: Daisy Cruiser 3: Rainbow Road 2: Mushroom City 1: Sherbet Land (HA! All the haters will be surprised at this hahaha) I personally find this track to be so beautiful, I have so many memories playing this as a kid, the music is amazing, the atmosphere is like a winter wonderland, and I never have had problems with the obstacles or ice... #1-6 were hard to choose from, but Sherbet Land is definitely my favorite #SorryNotSorry 😂
I did leave a ranking of my own a year ago, but I think now is a good time to drop my updated ranking: 1. Waluigi Stadium 2. Daisy Cruiser 3. Mushroom Bridge 4. Dino Dino Jungle 5. DK Mountain 6. Mushroom City 7. Yoshi Circuit 8. Wario Colosseum 9. Peach Beach 10. Mario Circuit 11. Luigi Circuit 12. Rainbow Road 13. Bowser’s Castle 14. Baby Park 15. Dry Dry Desert 16. Sherbet Land
I think both Dino Dino and DK Mountain will show up. Pretty sure that there’s 3 GCN tracks left so those 2 plus Daisy Cruiser (there’s 3 because a GCN spot from earlier wave still needs to replace a Wii one based on the Maple Treeway last minute change)
My mario kart double dash tracks ranking: #1 Dk mountain, so good so fun, I like the evil mountain you drive down, this track deserves being in the booster pass! (I will die if it doesn't come to the booster pass) as well it's my top 4 wii track #2 Waluigi stadium, better than wario colussiem (in my opinion) and the mk8 version looks so good, (I'm sry of the people that loves wario colossiem, but I just love waluigi stadium) however, there this one track that I like more! #3 Daisy cruiser, so fun, the music is relaxing, and I predict it will come to the next wave of the booster pass #4 Dino dino jungle, fun aspect, fun track, and hope it comes to the booster pass like Albert boris says #5 Yoshi circuit, the best circuit track, and the double dash version is the best one, and mk8 version is BEAUTIFULY good #6 Rainbow road, one of the best rainbow roads in mk #7 Bowser's castle, fun one, but doesn't beat the 3ds, wii and mk8 bowser's castles #8 Mushroom bridge, music total banger, easy but fun, especially the bridge shortcut (sad it was removed from the DS version) #9 Baby park, overrated and underrated track, but I'm neutral about this track, and total chaos especially the double dash version #10 Mushroom city, another moon view highway, but in double dash and its more complex #11 Luigi circuit, one of the better beginner tracks in the mk franchise #12 Mario circuit, decent track, one of the better mario circuits #13 Wario colluseum, bc it's overrated, and I'm not a fan of the aspect of this track (plz respect me) #14 Peach beach, bc it's really a small track, by the way peaches peaches by jack black #15 Dry dry desert, they really picked the two worst gcn tracks in the original mk8 #16 Sherbet land, really terrible ice physics for double dash
1. Wario Colisseum 2. Waliugi Stadium 3. Dk Mountain 4. Dino Dino Jungle 5. Daisy Cruiser 6. Bowser's Castle 7. Rainbow Road 8. Peach Beach 9. Mushroom Bridge 10. Sherbet Land 11. Baby Park 12. Mario Circuit 13. Yoshi Circuit 14. Mushroom City 15. Dry Dry Desert 16. Luigi Circuit I dont have any big issues with.your list. Baby park is pretty fun with the bowser shells. And I would agree that Dry Dry Desert is underrated, and I was quite disappointed to see that they removed the tornado in deluxe. This was the first video game I ever bought, so I know it well. Perhaps the only mario kart game without a truly terrible track. I am hoping that my top five all make an appearance in the booster pack.
What if they do the airship fortress, delfino square and mario circuit thing again with Dk mountain, Dino dino jungle, and wario collesium. In wave 4 everybody was arguing over delfino square or airship fortress then nintendo picked mario circuit out of nowhere. What if they make us think its between dino dino jungle and dk mountain, then wario collesium comes out of nowhere and gets in
I'll immediately disagree with your placement for Baby Park. It is by far the most demanding track in the entire series because of how it tests not only your driving capability, but also your ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and obstacles. No amount of muscle memory or track memorization will help you win a match in Baby Park, it 100% comes down to your skill as a driver. Baby Park is where we separate the boys from the men 😤😤😤
I actually remember playing Baby Park in DS, and looking back now, it is definitely the worst version of the track, sadly. The WiiU/Switch Version definitely improved upon it, but the Double Dash Original is definitely the best version, since the Bowser Shells appeared in that game, even if it isn’t as great as it once was. Playing the original version of Sherbet Land, after playing the remake, actually wasn’t horrific. Sure, it isn’t amazing, but I did like it, the remake definitely felt more refined, and felt like it offered something more! The very first track of the game, and the second or third Luigi Circuit to exist, I also played it on DS, followed by the original, and I did like it for what it offered, though nowadays, it has been beaten by many others, the original definitely holds up well. Mario Circuit on both GameCube and Wii is actually pretty good, and not much changed between the two, but still felt quite satisfying, though it worked better in Double Dash in my opinion, due to the controls making you concentrate more. Mushroom City is the only Star Cup track that has not been remade yet, and I do kind of like it, it was also the only course, until Tour Berlin Byways in 8 Deluxe, to have the traffic not follow the route the racers go, and I like that! I definitely like Yoshi Circuit, it can be overrated in a way, but all versions are good, the DS version feeling the least butchered out of the 4 remade, the 8 version feeling like a more refined version, and the original definitely having unique routes not found in later games, I’m even surprised the layout is of Yoshi, and I love that, especially with the Yoshi helicopter! Dry Dry Desert is definitely the best in the original, including the tornado and Pokeys around the track, not a huge fan of the remake to be fair, on par with N64 Toad’s Turnpike, though not nearly as bad as some of the remakes of GCN tracks on DS. Peach Beach has a more relaxing vibe, and it works rather well in both games, though a certain DS track is more impressive in my opinion, especially in 8. The pipe was removed in the Wii version, but the fountain route is definitely cool to drift around! Bowser’s Castle definitely feeling underrated, a sinister tone, a good track design, and a statue with fireballs shot from its mouth, I can’t believe I didn’t play it back in the day, it’s great! Mushroom Bridge unfortunately suffered in DS, but improved thanks to Tour, and has a chance to return in the Booster Course Pass! The original however, definitely brilliant, and I would recommend giving it a try, if you can manage to not fall of the sides of the bridge, then you are fantastic!! Waluigi Stadium is a fan favourite, and I enjoyed the Wii version, but the original still feels brilliant, even the 8 Deluxe and Tour versions are quite brilliant as well, especially for the former! As for DK Mountain, I can’t say it’s number one, but it still holds up well. Again, I played the Wii version, but the original does hold up well in all regards. Dino Dino Jungle is an interesting one, the dinosaur appearing definitely feels unique in theme, the 3DS version feels just as good. If either DK Mountain or Dino Dino Jungle make it into the Pass, then I don’t mind, I just wouldn’t be surprised. Daisy Cruiser certainly couldn’t not be a good track, the 3DS and Mobile versions may also be good, but the original holds up just as well. As for this incarnation of Rainbow Road, I actually think it also is one of the best ones available, and honestly, if it gets remade again, I’d be over the moon! Pun intended by the way. 😇 And Wario Colosseum, the only 2 lap track, and while I’d put it as number two, it manages to feel brilliant, and again, if it gets remade, many fans will give a standing ovation!
1:19 disagree... Dry Dry Desert exists and it is aguably the least unique course in the series. Top 5/6 worst track imo. Edit¹: Now that I saw where it ranked, I must ask: WTF? XDDD. To start, the visuals are yellow, the reference is nonexistent, the music is repetitive, the sand pit is copied from Yoshi Desert, the track is way longer than it need to be, the only thing that makes it reminicent of the Mario universe is Pokeys (everyone's favorite Mario character). Yes, it is an accurate representation of a desert, but so are most other desert tracks lol. Edit²: Totally agree with Daisy Cruiser being higher than DK Mountain and WL Pinball.
if you for some reason wants to know the bottom 5/4, here it is: - Figure 8 Circuit is so forgettable, but due to nostalgia, it ties with DDD - 64 Wario Stadium is boring, long, and for some reason has the raceway theme - Toad's Turnpike is F8 Circuit but with cars, wich doesn't makes it good, makes it frustating - 64 Rainbow Road is Wario Stadium, but looks and music aside, it's a longer hallway with zero jumps and/or gimmicks - Choco Island 2... On DS... Do I need to say more?
Gl I like all the tracks except sherbet land Also my list 16)sherbet land annoying ice physics and enemy placements Also the turns annoy me so much 15)baby park........ 14)mario circuit its one of the better circuit tracks but still a circuit and as such is a bit too basic 13)luigi circuit same as mario circuit but the gimmick makes it better 12)dry dry dessert its a track that exsists 11)peach beach its based on my favourite mario game sunshine but it has missed potential It feels like taking gelato beach and removing everything that made that location unique Its still a solid track but not one of my favourites 10)yoshi circuit The best circuit track And its still only mid b tier 9)dino dino jungle Ik this is way too low but the reason is I just find the turns way too sharp and they just don't mesh well with this games slippery controls I still like the idea I just think it could've been excuted better 8)mushroom Bridge a underrated track with a great idea the only reason it ain't higher is bc there's tracks that I prefer to this one 7)waluigi stadium the atmosphere The wacky turns and abundance of ramps makes this a solid A tier track and a ton of fun to race on 6)dk mountain before I had this higher Its still a amazing track just theres more that I prefer now but still this track is loved for a reason You race down a mountain near a volcano Its pretty creative the physics are perfect for this type of track the turns are really sharp and the music is underrated 5)bowsers castle Its not the best bowsers castle but still a really solid one The introduction of the bowsers statue spitting fireballs is really cool aswell as the other obstacles like the fire bars and trying to avoid falling in the lava.the turns are also sharp and challenging which is perfect for a bowsers castle track 4)mushroom city ofc the atmosphere is the best and the chaos of getting lost adds a lot of fun to the track 3)daisy cruiser love the theming and the obstacles are really unique 2)wario coliseum love the atmosphere there's tons of turns keeping it challenging and interesting Plus the music is amazing 1)rainbow Road I mean its rainbow Road how could it not be number 1 Sorry for wasting your time this was way too long
4- Mushroom Cup (Luigi Circuit is Boring, Peach Beach is simple, Baby Park is... Baby Park and i hate Dry Dry Desert) 3- Flower Cup (Mushroom Bridge is cool, Mario Circuit is meh, Daisy Cruiser is lovely and i love Waluigi Stadium) 2- Special Track (Hardest Tracks: Wario Colosseum is amazing, Dino Dino Jungle has a lot of Environments, Bowser's Castle is good and Rainbow Road is ❤.) 1. Star Cup (Sherbet Land has that enjoyable music, Mushroom City❤❤❤ my fav track, Yoshi Circuit is great and DK Mountain is the best being objective, i love it).
Double Dash is one of my favorite Mario Kart games! I honestly find this to be the single most charming game in the series by far, even more than the games I think are better overall like Wii and 8. Every time I see a clip from this game it fills me with so much joy, and that feeling is exponentially improved when I’m actually playing it! Everything from the visuals, to the controls, to the animations, to the track design, feels like they were aiming to make the game ‘fun’ more than ‘good,’ and ironically that’s what makes it shine! The only tracks that I don’t like are Sherbet Land (making the controls go from kinda charming to annoying), Dry Dry Desert (not because it does anything wrong, but because it makes me feel absolutely nothing, and 8’s version is even worse), and Yoshi Circuit (because I’m bad at it and that makes me salty lol). My favorite is Waluigi Stadium, and in terms of an underrated track I would say Dino Dino Jungle (I honestly think it’s better than DK Mountain). I also love the music in this game, my favorite of which is DK Mountain/Dino Dino Jungle, and even the ones I don’t like as much like Sherbet Land and (time for MY cancellable take) Rainbow Road aren’t bad, just not good imo. (Also in terms of the DK Mountain vs. Dino Dino Jungle debate for the BCP, I absolutely agree it will be Dino Dino Jungle, however I bring it up because I’ve seen some people say it could end up being… both?? Instead of one of the slots being Mushroom Bridge/City. I think that’s very unlikely, but I’m curious to know if you think that’s possible.)
I think since DK Mountain and DK Summit are basically the same track with a different aesthetic, DDJ is more likely for the Booster Course Pass. Great vid btw, even if I don't agree with every ranking
dino dino jungle is gonna be in wave 6. in both games it was in, dd and 7, it was the 2nd track in the final cup. the prefix leaks have a double dash track as the 2nd track in the final cup. it all makes sense
I've been heavily debating between Wario Colosseum and Dino Dino Jungle as which ones are my favorite because they're so unique and breathtaking in their own charming ways. Therefore, it's wonderful seeing both of them within your top 5! Also, it's really cool to see someone even slightly gush about Dry Dry Desert! I will always miss the Tornado, Pit Plant, and most of the Pokey population.
16:49 woah why did that Ryder person break in the video like that?!
Jokes aside, great video Albert! I had a lot of fun setting this collab up with you on this video and my wave 5 predictions video! 😊
DK Mountain is not getting in because there is already a leaked DK Nitro track and that would be too much DK traks
And we have DK Summit in there too which clashes with DK Mountain both being tracks where you got shot to the top of a mountain by a cannon with both having very similar track layouts

And probably the city underneath rainbow Road is Probably Mushroom City.
Yeah, it makes it feel like just about all the tracks in that game were interconnected.
DK Mountain is also in Baby Park.
NOT ONLT THAT!!
But BROKEN PIER's background is seen in Bowser's Castle so this implies that Broken Pier is near this iteration of Bowser's Castle.
Yeah, loved those little details, made DD feel more special.
mushroom city that low is an absolute CRIME
actually, after watching the whole thing, this whole list is a crime lmao
I Know Wario Colosseum is probably not coming to the BCP but I hope it still does because Wario Colosseum is my personal favorite as well.

Mario kart double - came out 20 years ago God dang
Yeah, people hating on ice physics doesn’t make that much sense to me, as ice physics just make the ice tracks more realistic and immersive.
Yeah but it's anoying that's One of the reasons the 8 version is better
I love Sherbet Land because of the Music, the Visuals, the Layout, and Textures.
Double Dash has one of the best Special Cups in the entire series just a shame none of its tracks are in 8 Deluxe

Am I the only one who remembers Luigi Circuit 50 CC is completely different than the other CC versions?
50CC Luigi Circuit always has a median separating the two sides of the track but the rest of the CCs remove it. Idk why they did that, I guess so it’s easier and less chaotic or something.
No! I remember it too.
Wario Colosseum is one of my favorite courses in the entire series. It's easily my favorite in the game and only gets beaten by a couple tracks, namely Big Blue and Wii Rainbow Road.

Nice keep up the controversy, I love it
Daisy Cruiser needs to come back in the Booster Course Pass!
So does mushroom bridge or city. I love both to hell.
R.I.P ME
2 months later
ITS HERE
It did
@AlbertBoris If Nintendo ever does a "Metropolis Tour" - a tour centering around tracks in metropolises (New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro, etc.)...
Really awesome ranking, buddy!
Luigi Circuit = Best Starter Track Ever
Baby Park = Most Chaotic Track Ever
Dry Dry Desert = Best Desert Track Ever
Mushroom Bridge & Mushroom City = Both Best Cars Tracks Ever
Yoshi Circuit = Best Yoshi Track Ever
DK Mountain = Best DK Track
Ever
Wario Colosseum = Best Wario/Waluigi Track Ever (Gotta Admit Waluigi Pinball from MKDS is also incredible)
Bowser's Castle = Best Bowser's Castle Ever
What can i say more about MKDD tracks ? Oh yeah Rainbow Road is also an absolute legendary and beauty track but sadly i prefer the MKWii version a bit, best one ever made. MKDD's one is 2nd best in my opinion.

I'm so happy someone else feels this way about Baby Park
Finally, a UA-cam video ranking Baby Park at the bottom...
Here are My Ranking of all Mario Kart: Double Dash Tracks-
16. Baby Park: (The Track itself is boring to play but I appreciate that the Item System works unlike in DS which is worse than it was in the original)
15. Luigi Circuit: (The Opening Courses are usually just boring but what makes GCN Luigi Circuit stand out is that the roads are interconnected, the chain chomps, the boost ramps, the alternate routes, the Luigi blimp, and even the Luigi’s Mansion is in this track which makes it very interesting and unique)
14. Mario Circuit: (The Nature Theme makes it better than the other two)
13. Dry Dry Desert: (Unlike in MK8, The GCN version is underrated because the aesthetic looks good, the pokeys, the tornadoes, and even the quicksand that has a Sarlaac work well as obstacles, and the music sounds dangerous! Dry Dry Desert deserves so much respect than how everyone treats it)
12. This track feels so immersive and it’s even based on Long Beach, Puerto Penasco, and Even Laguna Shores from California and Mexico)
11. If it wasn’t for the uncontrollable gameplay and the Freezies that send players haywire, this track could’ve been an A or S-Tier)
10. The Only thing that could’ve put Yoshi Circuit in the A-Tier is that the enemies from Yoshi’s Island could’ve been here and the aesthetic is also a missed opportunity for a basic generic aesthetic but Yoshi Circuit is still a Fun Track just one that is a bit of a wasted opportunity)
9. Mushroom Bridge: (This track may have a generic theme but what makes this one an A-Tier track is that this track has potential for shortcuts and alternate routes like the hard bridge shortcuts, the pavements, the shortcut that made it to DS, and the Pipe Shortcut! Another thing why this track is great is the vehicles work so well as obstacles, and this track reminds me of Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, California)
8. Mushroom City: (Even though it doesn’t have the shortcuts and alternate routes like its predecessor, Mushroom City makes up for a nighttime aesthetic which looks so beautiful and the Paths you can pick to drive! I sometimes go to Phoenix to go to the Fan-Fusion with My Dad and Sister)
7. Bowser’s Castle: (This track has the Best Atmosphere in Any Bowser’s Castle Tracks! What I appreciate about this track is that the Mechanical Bowser Shoots Fireballs in left, right, left, right which can be very hard to avoid, the dancing signs are also there but it’s still a simple track but I love it)
6. Waluigi Stadium: (The Music is amazing, the dancing signs are here, the sunset is perfect here, but I do wish that the piranha plants attack you because it makes it very easy and yeah the ramps aren’t that fun here like they were in the Later Mario Kart Games but I still love it)
5. DK Mountain: (The Music may not be that great and yeah I wished that it took place inside a volcano which was a missed opportunity but DK Mountain is still a great track and the turns can be very hard and the falling boulders and shortcuts work well here just wished that it could take place inside a volcano just like what GBA Lakeside Park in MKTour could’ve been but dissatisfied fans)
4. This track is an S-Tier for me and I love it so much)
3. Wario Colosseum:
2. Daisy Cruiser:
1. Rainbow Road:
WARIO COLLOSEUM!!!!!!! Finally, some representation.
MARIO KART DOUBLE DASH IS SO UNDERRATED!!!
Kingly Video!

5. DK Mountain
4. Daisy Cruiser
3. Yoshi Circuit
2. Rainbow Road
1. Mushroom City
I just love how every inanimate object has those cute eyes in this game
Finally! someone who doesn’t hate wario colosseum
@AlbertBoris Hoping that Daisy Cruiser makes it into Wave 5 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass.
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!
I knew it. I knew that you’d put Dino Dino Jungle over DK Mountain I literally predicted it on the community page lol
Not gonna lie I love both but I have to agree with Ryder and your twin that DK Mountain should be in 8 Deluxe over Dino Dino Jungle.
14:43 All this time I had no idea that existed you’re the only person on UA-cam that I’ve seen bring this up.
I never played double dash, only there remade tracks in DS, Wii, 7 and 8.
My favourite DD tracks (from the remakes I’ve played) is Dino Dino jungle from Mario kart 7.
7 lighting cup my favourite cup in the series btw 💛
The track I really want to try is rainbow road, 3DS rainbow road is my all time favourite track ever but I’m 100% interested in DD rainbow road 💛
Here are my Hidden Gems of the GBA/GCN Era of Mario Kart
10. GBA Cheep Cheep Island
9. GBA Snow Land
8. GBA Yoshi’s Desert
7. GBA Bowser’s Castle 4
6. GBA Rainbow Road
5. GCN Dry Dry Desert
4. GCN Mushroom Bridge
3. GCN Dino Dino Jungle
2. GCN Rainbow Road
1. GCN Wario’s Colosseum
finally a Dry Dry Desert enjoyer!
Mario kart Double Dash is one of my favorite Mario kart racing games
DK Mountain is the best Double Dash track. No other track in the game is as good.
👆this
Wario Colosseum
You won me with Baby Park at 16. Bless you, lol. :)
Double Dash absolutely oozes charm, more than any other entry in the franchise, only slightly competed with by Super Circuit and DS.
My rankings:
16: Mario Circuit
15: Luigi Circuit
14: Yoshi Circuit
13: Dry Dry Desert
12: Baby Park
11: Waluigi Stadium
10: Bowser's Castle
9: Mushroom Bridge
8: Peach Beach
7: Dino Dino Jungle
6: DK Mountain
5: Wario Colosseum
4: Daisy Cruiser
3: Rainbow Road
2: Mushroom City
1: Sherbet Land (HA!
Personally I do hope that Dino Dino Jungle will make it into the Booster Course Pass. Maybe you will pull off another Mario Circuit, it’s possible
Great vid
Good on you. Baby Park is well deserving of that spot.
I did leave a ranking of my own a year ago, but I think now is a good time to drop my updated ranking:
1. Waluigi Stadium
2. Daisy Cruiser
3. Mushroom Bridge
4. Dino Dino Jungle
5. DK Mountain
6. Mushroom City
7. Yoshi Circuit
8. Wario Colosseum
9. Peach Beach
10. Mario Circuit
11. Luigi Circuit
12. Rainbow Road
13. Bowser’s Castle
14. Baby Park
15. Dry Dry Desert
16. Sherbet Land
1. Wario Colosseum
2. Daisy Cruiser
3. Dino Dino Jungle
4. Rainbow Road
5. Yoshi Circuit
The GOAT Mario Kart 🐐
My mario kart double dash tracks ranking:
#1 Dk mountain, so good so fun, I like the evil mountain you drive down, this track deserves being in the booster pass! (I will die if it doesn't come to the booster pass) as well it's my top 4 wii track
#2 Waluigi stadium, better than wario colussiem (in my opinion) and the mk8 version looks so good, (I'm sry of the people that loves wario colossiem, but I just love waluigi stadium) however, there this one track that I like more!
#3 Daisy cruiser, so fun, the music is relaxing, and I predict it will come to the next wave of the booster pass
#4 Dino dino jungle, fun aspect, fun track, and hope it comes to the booster pass like Albert boris says
#5 Yoshi circuit, the best circuit track, and the double dash version is the best one, and mk8 version is BEAUTIFULY good
#6 Rainbow road, one of the best rainbow roads in mk
#7 Bowser's castle, fun one, but doesn't beat the 3ds, wii and mk8 bowser's castles
#8 Mushroom bridge, music total banger, easy but fun, especially the bridge shortcut (sad it was removed from the DS version)
#9 Baby park, overrated and underrated track, but I'm neutral about this track, and total chaos especially the double dash version
#10 Mushroom city, another moon view highway, but in double dash and its more complex
#11 Luigi circuit, one of the better beginner tracks in the mk franchise
#12 Mario circuit, decent track, one of the better mario circuits
#13 Wario colluseum, bc it's overrated, and I'm not a fan of the aspect of this track (plz respect me)
#14 Peach beach, bc it's really a small track, by the way peaches peaches by jack black
#15 Dry dry desert, they really picked the two worst gcn tracks in the original mk8
#16 Sherbet land, really terrible ice physics for double dash
1. Wario Colisseum
2. Waliugi Stadium
3. Dk Mountain
4. Dino Dino Jungle
5. Daisy Cruiser
6. Bowser's Castle
7. Rainbow Road
8. Peach Beach
9. Mushroom Bridge
10. Sherbet Land
11. Baby Park
12. Mario Circuit
13. Yoshi Circuit
14. Mushroom City
15. Dry Dry Desert
16. Luigi Circuit
I dont have any big issues with.your list.
16 Mario circuit
15 peach beach
14 Luigi circuit
13 sherbet land
12 dry dry desert
11 daisy cruiser

What if they do the airship fortress, delfino square and mario circuit thing again with Dk mountain, Dino dino jungle, and wario collesium. In wave 4 everybody was arguing over delfino square or airship fortress then nintendo picked mario circuit out of nowhere. What if they make us think its between dino dino jungle and dk mountain, then wario collesium comes out of nowhere and gets in
Baby park has two ways, in time trials its just an oval, in vs its chaotic. But theres one thing. Its an oval. the only oval tracks i like is sky hugh
Yoshi Circuit at #11 is preposterous
It’s already way too high for me though.
Dino Dino Jungle and Yoshi circuit are my favorite
Wario Colosseum is the Goat.
The only course I feel kinda eh about is Dry Dry Desert and I still like it, DD's tracks were absolute fire.
There are no spectators in Wario Colosseum!
Baby Park is where we separate the boys from the men 😤😤😤
Please make one with Mario kart wii if you haven’t already I don’t know if you already did it I’ll check
Honestly mushroom bridge getting ranked higher than Mushroom City is what?
And Wario Colosseum, the only 2 lap track, and while I’d put it as number two, it manages to feel brilliant, and again, if it gets remade, many fans will give a standing ovation!
Dry Dry Desert is my home
I wonder if Albert will rank all the courses from all the games
I think that daisy cruiser is going to be in wave 5 and even though I have never played it I really want to
1:19 disagree...
Edit²: Totally agree with Daisy Cruiser being higher than DK Mountain and WL Pinball.
if you for some reason wants to know the bottom 5/4, here it is:
- Figure 8 Circuit is so forgettable, but due to nostalgia, it ties with DDD
- 64 Wario Stadium is boring, long, and for some reason has the raceway theme
- Toad's Turnpike is F8 Circuit but with cars, wich doesn't makes it good, makes it frustating
- 64 Rainbow Road is Wario Stadium, but looks and music aside, it's a longer hallway with zero jumps and/or gimmicks
- Choco Island 2... On DS... Do I need to say more?
1st: Rainbow Road (S Tier)
2nd: Wario Stadium (S Tier)
3rd: Baby Park (S Tier)
4th: Mushroom City (A Tier)
5th: Daisy Cruiser (A Tier)
6th: Yoshi Circuit (A Tier)
7th: Luigi Circuit (A Tier)
8th: Waluigi Stadium (B Tier)
9th: Mario Circuit (B Tier)
10th: DK Mountain (B Tier)
11th: Dino Dino Jungle (C Tier)
12th: Mushroom Bridge (C Tier)
13th: Bowsers Castle (C Tier)
14th: Peach Beach (C Tier)
15th: Sherbet Land (D Tier)
16th: Dry Dry Dessert (D Tier)(The name says it)
Hot take: Yoshi Circuit is way too high.
Gl
I like all the tracks except sherbet land
Also my list
16)sherbet land annoying ice physics and enemy placements
Also the turns annoy me so much
15)baby park........
14)mario circuit its one of the better circuit tracks but still a circuit and as such is a bit too basic
13)luigi circuit same as mario circuit but the gimmick makes it better
12)dry dry dessert its a track that exsists
11)peach beach its based on my favourite mario game sunshine but it has missed potential
It feels like taking gelato beach and removing everything that made that location unique
Its still a solid track but not one of my favourites
10)yoshi circuit
The best circuit track
And its still only mid b tier
9)dino dino jungle
Ik this is way too low but the reason is I just find the turns way too sharp and they just don't mesh well with this games slippery controls
I still like the idea
I just think it could've been excuted better
8)mushroom Bridge a underrated track with a great idea the only reason it ain't higher is bc there's tracks that I prefer to this one
7)waluigi stadium the atmosphere The wacky turns and abundance of ramps makes this a solid A tier track and a ton of fun to race on
6)dk mountain before I had this higher
Its still a amazing track just theres more that I prefer now but still this track is loved for a reason
You race down a mountain near a volcano
Its pretty creative the physics are perfect for this type of track the turns are really sharp and the music is underrated
5)bowsers castle
Its not the best bowsers castle but still a really solid one
The introduction of the bowsers statue spitting fireballs is really cool aswell as the other obstacles like the fire bars and trying to avoid falling in the lava.the turns are also sharp and challenging which is perfect for a bowsers castle track
4)mushroom city ofc the atmosphere is the best and the chaos of getting lost adds a lot of fun to the track
3)daisy cruiser love the theming and the obstacles are really unique
2)wario coliseum love the atmosphere there's tons of turns keeping it challenging and interesting
Plus the music is amazing
1)rainbow Road
I mean its rainbow Road how could it not be number 1
Sorry for wasting your time this was way too long
4- Mushroom Cup
(Luigi Circuit is Boring, Peach Beach is simple, Baby Park is... Baby Park and i hate Dry Dry Desert)
3- Flower Cup
(Mushroom Bridge is cool, Mario Circuit is meh, Daisy Cruiser is lovely and i love Waluigi Stadium)
2- Special Track
(Hardest Tracks: Wario Colosseum is amazing, Dino Dino Jungle has a lot of Environments, Bowser's Castle is good and Rainbow Road is ❤.)
1. Star Cup
(Sherbet Land has that enjoyable music, Mushroom City❤❤❤ my fav track, Yoshi Circuit is great and DK Mountain is the best being objective, i love it).
Sorry for word vomit lmao
GCN Rainbow Road > 3DS Rainbow Road.
Yes
Watching videos of Mario kart double dash and Mario party 9 on UA-camr were you main introductions to the Mario franchise to?!
im sorry that thumbnail is so insanely hard
funny how i found ur list more based than ur idols lmao.
Best Mario Kart game ever. (Yes, it's better than Wii)
cool
Yoshi Circuit in 12th??? What???
I think since DK Mountain and DK Summit are basically the same track with a different aesthetic, DDJ is more likely for the Booster Course Pass.
Great vid btw, even if I don't agree with every ranking
So, the only reason you are doing this now is because Schaffrillas made a video on it, now that's just petty...
How the bell is bc at 8 and city 12
dino dino jungle is gonna be in wave 6. in both games it was in, dd and 7, it was the 2nd track in the final cup. the prefix leaks have a double dash track as the 2nd track in the final cup. it all makes sense
I will always miss the Tornado, Pit Plant, and most of the Pokey population.
why would we get DK Mountain when we already have Snowboard Cross?
WHO RANKS BABY PARK AS LAST PLACE 😡
I do want to see Dino Dino Jungle, I think it's fun
I am hosting a Mario Kart Tournament. Would you be interested in competing? We’d love to have you in
I'm with you and I'd rather see Dino Dino Jungle in the BCP over DK Mountain for the reasons you mentioned.
