One of my biggest issues with this game is how they set up so much creativity in a series lacking it just to forget about it completely. Imagine starting in a lava world and ending in a grass plain. It's not a bad game but it's just so similar to the others with no sticking out features that its just kinda boring.

My idea for a rainbow road would start off like any other, a nighttime rainbow floating in the sky (shocking I know). But after a simple beginning, the rainbow would start to fray, with each colour of the road spawning a different path. If you take the red road you end up on a giant antigravity loopty-loop with rolling chain chomps to avoid. The orange road could go through a dark nighttime storm where the voilent wind pushes you around and there are a bunch of risky shortcuts and gliding sections. The yellow road could be a fast paced downward spiral that briefly takes you through the illuminated city below with fireworks etc. The green road could wrap around a tiny planet (like from Mario galaxy) with Luma stars everywhere and a brief underwater section. The blue road could be a big straight away filled with half pipes and jumps but there would be asteroids crashing towards you that you have to avoid. And the purple road could take you through a creepy abandoned space station with narrow halls and malfunctioning technology. Each coloured road eventually ends with a blackhole that warps all racers back together, reconnecting all the colour's back into a rainbow before the finish line. The race is 3 laps but once you use one path it is blocked for you next time, so each lap you have to choose a different one. This track would be pure chaos and would benefit players who like strategy, as your cart type and current items would likely influence which paths you choose and in which order. Provided Nintendo can balance each path as evenly as possible it would have great replay value and be very fun. It would feel like a culmination of all other rainbow roads up to this point in the series.

Instead of clone characters they should just add a skin system, that way you can have fireflower mario, metal mario, dr mario, etc. That way there is even more content to unlock/purchase, and you can get a bunch of iconic looking characters without taking roster space from more original characters. Instead of Dry Bowser, Dry bones and pink gold peach, they could be skins and let those character slots be filled by E.Gadd, Luma, and King Bomb omb as actual characters instead.

Rainbow Road idea: A glowing rainbow circling the entire galaxy. Drive through star fields, around planets, and finally, into the central black hole before exploding out to the finish.

What are you talking about? Mario party 5 has the star spirits, and I’m a paper Mario fan so this is obviously the greatest game ever made (I’ve never played the GameCube games)

16:52 The problem I have about those challenges is that there isn’t a single one where you have to beat your CPU opponents by an amount of points. For example, every rhythm challenge requires u to just get an amount of points which means that you still pass if you reach that amount, but everyone else gets more. 19:27 Why do you think this sequel(2) is first, not second?
