Hey Kyle! Thanks for watching the video and subscribing. For this camper, I didn't do anything to update the frame that I purchased. Great question James! I used 3/4 inch plywood on the outside. I probably could have got away with 1/2 inch, but the 3/4 gives me great peace of mind. It is VERY sturdy. On my next build, I won't use any plywood for the interior walls and instead, I will use an FRP board for the interior walls. Thanks for watching and for the support!

I feel like I learned so much from this build. While I love our little camper, I feel like the next one will be 10x better.
Good video, I've been uploading build videos on my squaredrop (in construction) - getting some more shots and explanation of your back galley door and how you built it would be great.
Here is the video explaining the build of the back door. ua-cam.com/video/q51PpD3vBlc/v-deo.html
Hi good job ! Im just finishing my gulley. Do you mind showing me how you attached the hurricane hinge ? Thanks
I am going to make a video detailing it in the next couple of weeks. Thanks Johann!

This is all I need. I'm going to start my project mid Jan 22. Which plywood do you recommend??
Great question James! I used 3/4 inch plywood on the outside. I probably could have got away with 1/2 inch, but the 3/4 gives me great peace of mind. It is VERY sturdy. On my next build, I won't use any plywood for the interior walls and instead, I will use an FRP board for the interior walls.
Thanks for watching and for the support!
Awesome
Thanks for watching Stephen!
Great job! How much do you have into it not including trailer?
Great question! I have a new video coming this week that goes into detail about the costs of my newest camper that I built. This older one probably was around $4500.

Looks amazing. How much was the build?
I'm going. to make a video on this topic soon, but with the things that I added to it, I bet I came in right around $4500-5000. I'll update you once I have the video posted.
This is awesome! Can you let us know a rough estimate of the budget for this?
Absolutely! First, thank you for watching and subscribing to our channel. It means the world to us!
When I built it in the spring of 2021, the total build cost was about $4000 dollars. That includes the trailer frame, wheels, tires, all materials, and some upgrades like the solar panel, battery setup and mattress. It took me probably about 120 hours to build. I will be building another one in the next couple of months and documenting each step of the process, so if you are wondering about any of the build process, check out those videos.
Thanks again! I hope you enjoy our other videos.
Hey! I know its been a while, but I broke down the costs of my newest camper build, in case you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/08_xu-ojSGk/v-deo.html
What insulation did you use, and how did you create the air gap?
Hi Robert, thanks for watching and subscribing to our channel!
I used foam board insulation. It is just smaller than the cavity created by my “studs” (1x2 and 2x2) so there is a slight air gap for any condensation.
