*Perfect band saw for the hobby enthusiast **MyBest.Tools** Easy to set up and square. 😂😀😂😀Had it😎 running in 10 to 15 minutes. Quality of cuts will depend on the🤣🤣🤣 quality of the blades.*

I bought this saw today. I was so relieved to see that it will rip a 24" tie. I almost didn't buy it because the box said it would only rip 18" tile. My tile is 24" and I need to rip it long ways. I think I'm going to be happy with this saw.

The key with any of these tile top saws us don't overdo it with the water, just enough to get the blade wet, otherwise it's gonna sling water everywhere.

    Go Berg!
I actually started out with that "briefcase" style tile saw. I still use it for jobs inside tight spaces.
I actually just used it to do that black subway tile shower job. 👍🏼

Thanks for the review. This is my first tile saw. We got out first houand want to make it our own. I've been looking at this saw for a few weeks now and this video helped me decide.

The black plastic holding the saw blade guard go on top! The tile will stock on those screws. The black plastic is countersink to avoid that.

Thoughts on how well it would work on SLATE tile?

Your intros are good. Don't get mad at me for the suggestion but add a little humor into it now and then. For instance when coming out of HF, the cart falls over unrealistically and the ' needle ' scratches the music to a halt. Pick the cart up, put the box back into the cart, and continue on with the music commencing again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Back to doing AWESOME work as usual.

This saw resembles my Ridgid wet saw from HD. I’m impressed to see that there was not chip out at the last 1/2 inch at the end of the cut on the large porcelain tile you cut. That was my biggest peeve with my saw. Was it my technique?

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  2 роки тому +2

I squeeze both sides of the tile together on that last 1/2 inch. Because of the blade rotation on these tabletop tile saws, chips are known to happen.

@@LandbergTileTV excellent tip. I appreciate your quick reply to my question. Prior to renovating my master bath, I watched many of your videos along with Sal DiBlasi, and the Tile Coach. You each have a style of your own. However, your videos are the best in terms of time, technique, script, and editing. Keep them coming. Thanks.

The rip fence was bent so the miter gauge bearly works, where can I get a new one. Harbor Freight said I couldn't return it because the box was open.

I noticed you did a 24 in. rip cut but the box says “up to 18 in.” So it seems it will handle 24 inch, no need to return mine?

I have the Porta Cable. It might be the blade but it seems it doesn’t have enough power. I am using it on a job now cutting Italian porcelain herringbone, and it’s struggling a bit.
What’s a good blade for it?

That's just a rebranded version of Kobalt's saw. Every part is exactly the same. Even the wrenches are the same AND in the same location. Kobalt's $24 more, but might be worth it, if harbor freight is only giving their usual 90 day warranty.
