The MRI or Es from the USA are very good my favorite is macoroni and chilli .We get hurricanes in the south alot so 5 years ago Michael came and left noone unhurt so the National Guard was giving us full boxes of meals and lots of water, we still have a meal prep here jus in case we lose power again for a very long time.
just a few things i want to point out to you dan .. No1 it's not your fault that other people are twats and leave a lot of mess behind them, No 2, you don't premoat cheep gear , it's affordable gear No3 good on you for keeping going out and doing what you love ( and thanks for shearing with us) No4 people come and go in our lives don't go blaming yourself for something you did or didn't do and don't try to over think it , just remember you are important and you're family is important ... live your life and love the ones that matter.. stay strong keep camping mate 💪🏻🏕👍
Best to leave those people alone. They know it's wrong to just leave their garbage. You could get hurt telling them. Just carry out what garbage you can and feel good you helped clean up. That is my advice. Keep on making these lovely videos. Thank you for that.
Abandoned tents are not limited to off-grid wild spots. A breezy night on a basic but official camp site saw at least 3 abandoned tents after the families involved were disgusted with summertime weather (a mere 15-20 mph breeze) and left everything scattered over the field. I've seen this on countless sites over the years. (Just got back from Wales today after 4 nights in an OEX Rakoon 2 (messy to put up 1st time!) I think it's a visual protest-vote against camping if they have a slightly negative experience. They are happy to discard their average-priced, flattened 4/5/6 berth tents and leave them as litter for the Owners to clean up. "Homebird" types don't always adapt to minor inconveniences ! I have zero sympathy. I'm still camping at 68. I'll probably expire in a tent on top of a Welsh mountain. Great video Mate. Keep it coming.
I put my Rakoon up in the Living Room the other day, it was initially abit of a mess about, but got it figured & before I packed it away I attached my flysheet to the inner & now I can just pop it up in one...!👍 Cushtie...!✔️💯
Had the phoxx 1 for a while , woke up dreaming top of the mountain and had a panic attack as thought I was in a cave suffocating lol , got rid of it a few weeks later .

Hi, I saw a video from Scott where he told us that he'd got health problems. He said that his kidney function was down to 16% and he'd almost died. Perhaps he's not well enough at the moment to go camping.
As always, Dan, I totally enjoy your videos. Many thanks for sharing your mini adventure with us. When you said that you hear more at night when camping on your own, it's only natural, you senses kick in and you become more alert. When I was in the forces I was often sent out on my own on exercises whilst the rest of the company took up positions. This particular exercise was near a place called Strensall and I had to cross some marsh land and set up in a woodland. As I was going through the marsh's I thought I heard someone behind me, it was around 2am at the end of November early 80s and there was a low lying mist about three foot high above the ground. I stopped and could hear what I thought was footsteps following me through the Marsh. All I could hear was my heart beating. I went to ground and waited to see who or what was following me. I crouched down into the mist and waited until the sound was right at the side of me, I pointed my rifle and jumped up but there wasn't anyone there. What was happening was, every footstep I took my feet sank about 10inches into the mud, however a Marsh being so wet, each of my foot prints began filling with water at my rear and the mud at times collapsed and fell into the footprints which made it sound like I was being followed. I laugh about it now but I can tell you at the time I wasn't laughing. Its surprising just how your natural defenses kick in when your alone, more so outside a night. I thought I'd just share my little experience with you.
@World War Heroes (Brit X Military) HI, my regiment was QLR. You'll probably remember having to push those flat back rail cars down to the ranges with the ammunition and NCOs on them shouting their orders. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was the Irish rangers that were stationed there in 1984. I travelled around a lot in shooting competitions against different regiments because I was our battalions marksman (sniper). I'm glad I never had to use this skill in action, though.
I'm saddened to hear Scott, aka the council estate bear grylls, has not been in touch with you as much. I did hear that he was going through a bit of a dip in his mental health so maybe that's what it is. Ironically reaching out to a mate like you is one of the better remedies for mental health struggles. Hopefully he will sort himself out eh. Anyways, you as always are a joy to watch and listen to. I don't know if you realise this but you doing what you do and just being you is an inspiration for so many humans bud. Be in no doubt that you are respected and loved by so many people. I'm sure you might say "who me, I don't do owt, I'm nowt special" well be assured that the good you do for the people that get to share your adventures by watching and listening to you is amazing. Keep doing what you do man. As human beings go.... your a cracker pal.
My mates and I were always out wild camping as teenagers but we always cleaned up. Leaving that mess is disgusting and ruins it for the majority of decent people. Great channel, only been subbed for a few weeks. Love your videos and your down to earth approach. 😊👍👍

Great video Dan, just be aware of your knees breaking twigs and kneeling on cold wet earth. You can do it now without thinking, but in a few years you will wish you used pads.keep up the good work.
The gear left is more to do with the people who put them there and the tents being cheap enough for them to throw away, not you. My favourite curry is a Madras. I've had a Bombay Bad Boy, 15 - 20 years ago and it was too hot for me. In your time on UA-cam, you've learnt so much since you started. That's a massive credit to you for always trying to.
I was once told that people come into our lives all the time for different reasons. They may stay for only for a few days, few months or a lifetime. But they are always there to teach us something and once we learn that lesson they go on their way. Also, I really want to try those noodles! Lol. Thanks for your great videos. 😊

Great vlog boss like other viewers have said shame the owners of these tents have just left their stuff there as they obviously make it harder for folks like us to do these wild and stealth camps and I guess eventually the land owner like around me will block up the entrances to the woods so two or three near me are no longer accessible but keep up the good vlogs boss and roll on the next one 😊

I like the sticky rib pot noodle. Unfortunately, you have to keep trimming off the noodles or the juice will drip onto your beard and go hard. I know from experience, lol. I haven’t tried your bad boy yet but maybe soon. Another alternative is a product called smoked cheesy pancetta. It is made from pasta and cheese and is delicious as long as you leave it to soak for long enough. You were right to leave those kids alone because you may have found yourself in a lot of trouble. It is after al about enjoying yourself and letting other people enjoy themselves as they see fit. If they want to fill themselves with poisons, then let them. Some folks have no respect, doubt you add to it with your vids mate they do stuff like that on spur cause someone told them about a spot they found or something like that. I'd go back later, see if the tents are still there, unpack and take them, clean them up and pop them into local charity shop (and the rubbish in the local bin) like it sounds like you prob did too lol! Keep up the good content!

I often see those gas canisters on the side of the road when I’m out cycling, to me they looked like welding gas thinking workmen had thrown them out of the van window possibly difficult to dispose of being pressurised. Makes sense now.
going off what you've said about budget camping videos , these folk you've come across would leave things a mess wether you post or not , folk who follow you for the most part will appreciate your input and advice , even a starter camp set up on a budget isn't cheap so any advice is a good heads up

I despair at modern society for reasons like the drug tent site, hard not to get really angry. I’ve seen this many times in the Uk and here in Western Australia. I love that you’re cleaning it up. A great example to us all. I also knew you would. I also agree with your view, don’t let people hold you back. Don’t be surprised that people want to follow your content. You come across as a genuine bloke with good values. We’re running out of such people in our everyday lives. Keep the content coming and see where it goes

I think the bombay bad boy is like marmite. You either love it or hate it. I put Frank's hot sauce in mine as well lol. My 3 year old daughter loves it but my 4 year old won't go near it haha. Keep up the great videos buddy 👍

Love the videos! Amazon has messed up a few of my orders. Never got them. I always had to wait for the refund. It's frustrating. Not as frustrating as that mess they left.
That's just like the little woodland not far from me, They have their little campsites and remains of the drink and drugs, 9 times out of 10 they will just come back and reuse the site again. If the tents are ok, Normally a gang of them if anything. Best off leaving them at it as you say, Rather than go over and have a chat about cleaning up etc. They could work you over, if they are high and drunk. Also i recon you told Scott and Dan about the Bombay Pot noodle, you were bringing, and the two ran away big style :P Nice to see you are ok after the Deer punt from the last video i watched.

Great vlog boss like other viewers have said shame the owners of these tents have just left their stuff there as they obviously make it harder for folks like us to do these wild and stealth camps and I guess eventually the land owner like around me will block up the entrances to the woods so two or three near me are no longer accessible but keep up the good vlogs boss and roll on the next one 😊

I like the sticky rib pot noodle. Unfortunately, you have to keep trimming off the noodles or the juice will drip onto your beard and go hard. I know from experience, lol. I haven’t tried your bad boy yet but maybe soon. Another alternative is a product called smoked cheesy pancetta. It is made from pasta and cheese and is delicious as long as you leave it to soak for long enough. You were right to leave those kids alone because you may have found yourself in a lot of trouble. It is after al about enjoying yourself and letting other people enjoy themselves as they see fit. If they want to fill themselves with poisons, then let them. I hope your tongue has recovered from your bad boy. Great video Dan. Keep them coming mate and stay safe.

Disgusting to see that mess. No different to fly tipping. They're certainly not wild campers (fly campers). Makes me sad, and angry, the disrespect shown for the great outdoors.
As to your Amazon order, that's been a widely reported scam, switching electronic orders for something cheap that weighs similar. No doubt they'll investigate their end, which may explain why the refund wasn't immediate. If you order any more expensive electronics from Amazon, I'd suggest you open in front of the courier before accepting the parcel.

Great content, to many UA-camrs glamourising wild camping with expensive equipment most can’t afford, it’s a bit of fun, no need to spend ££££ on posh equipment.
After a long 12 hr shift I really needed this vid. Whilst being annoyed at the rubbish left, seeing you eat the pot noodle made me smile maybe a little to much😂😅😅👍

Some folks have no respect, doubt you add to it with your vids mate they do stuff like that on spur cause someone told them about a spot they found or something like that. I'd go back later, see if the tents are still there, unpack and take them, clean them up and pop them into local charity shop (and the rubbish in the local bin) like it sounds like you prob did too lol! Keep up the good content!

I often see those gas canisters on the side of the road when I’m out cycling, to me they looked like welding gas thinking workmen had thrown them out of the van window possibly difficult to dispose of being pressurised. Makes sense now.

going off what you've said about budget camping videos , these folk you've come across would leave things a mess wether you post or not , folk who follow you for the most part will appreciate your input and advice , even a starter camp set up on a budget isn't cheap so any advice is a good heads up

I despair at modern society for reasons like the drug tent site, hard not to get really angry. I’ve seen this many times in the Uk and here in Western Australia. I love that you’re cleaning it up. A great example to us all. I also knew you would.

Yes I eaten the Bombay bad boy I found it to be very mild to me dan but everyone is different you’re wife and kids are your family and the most important to you yes friends come and go but family is for ever I get mad when people abandon tents and leave there rubbish it disgusting it’s nothing to do with your videos camping on a budget people have being abandoning tents for years dan great video

I think the bombay bad boy is like marmite. You either love it or hate it. I put Frank's hot sauce in mine as well lol. My 3 year old daughter loves it but my 4 year old won't go near it haha. Keep up the great videos buddy 👍

Love the videos! Amazon has messed up a few of my orders. Never got them. I always had to wait for the refund. It's frustrating. Not as frustrating as that mess they left.
Dan, I’m just as saddened as you and many commentators, why anyone could leave their litter/tents behind.
Why .. because they are what they are.
That's just like the little woodland not far from me, They have their little campsites and remains of the drink and drugs, 9 times out of 10 they will just come back and reuse the site again. If the tents are ok, Normally a gang of them if anything. Best off leaving them at it as you say, Rather than go over and have a chat about cleaning up etc. They could work you over, if they are high and drunk. Also i recon you told Scott and Dan about the Bombay Pot noodle, you were bringing, and the two ran away big style :P Nice to see you are ok after the Deer punt from the last video i watched.
Sad some people have no respect leaving trash around. I did volunteer cleanup yesterday felt good to help clean up the planet 😊

Shame about the tents and the crap left behind, i've come across a bit of rubbish in my time but no tents, i don't mind a bombay bad boy but chicken curry is my pot noodle of choice, shame about Scott and Dan too, a bit strange but life goes on, i always listen to a local station on my wind up radio for company when i'm out anywhere, none of my mates are into camping, great video mate, keep em coming, see you in the next one Dan 👍⛺️
