I love Sir Patrick Moore, he really is a genius and a great man. I never liked how Anderson treated his book, and wiggled it around screen because I could never figure out which edition it was.
Sure but I think Clive Anderson’s occasional jabs and barbs weren’t too personal and he gave Sir Patrick the canvas to get the wonder of the subject across in a short window. I mean, he couldn’t have stopped him, let’s face it!
RIP, Gamesmaster... I bet he was fascinated when Frontier - Elite 2 came in 1993, that involves blasting off from Earth as well as jumping into hyperspace.
Patrick Moore, delightful, charming, eccentric, incredibly funny, utterly irreplaceable, and a mind that goes so fast it makes one gawk in disbelief.

A true brilliant English eccentric who was as sharp as a tac.
One of the few guests Clive Anderson was in total respect to.
Great cheer from the audience to greet him.
His quick mind and sharp wit is incredible

Patrick was the inspiration for my astro channel.
Patrick Moore was a very funny and engaging man. And he gave Clive Anderson a lot of material to work with. A great guest.
God he is missed.

Dear old Patrick More---sadly missed. TV has no great excentric's anymore, it's all so naff and boring
...all too PC, these days.
That's so true, Cox isn't fit to oil his telescope mount.
Fun interview
1:15 “I put them in touch with the flat earth society and they’re now fighting it out” 😂
