Never understood Clive Anderson’s appeal when I was young and he should have stayed as a barrister. Sir Norman should have had the whole show to himself to tell anything he thought of saying. His autobiography is amazing and I’ve always admired him and always will.
I give it to Norman he didn’t quit singing when he was told they are out off time...loved that bloke I have a signed picture of me and my sister with Norman wishing us the best...

Norman Wisdom was absolutely brilliant, but Clive Anderson just didn't appreciate having him there and should have let Norman do his thing from the very start of the interview and just rolled with it like any good presenter would have done

He’s still as charmless, unfunny and disrespectful to his guests today. He and the powers that be don’t seem to grasp that he is always the least interesting person in the room and that cheap sarcasm is not wit.
