You are a beautiful human Dr Becker ❤

  • @lynnetuckercarnivore

No question... just thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've learned so much from you! To pay you back, I've made up cards with your info on them so ANYone I talk to or see has a dog. I tell them you've been an integrative and holistic Vet for decades and you are an Animal Angel on Earth! That you have free videos on just about every subject and even if it's to be more informed prior to your Vet visit or to understand the why, how and what to do... YOU ROCK!!! THANK YOU

Dr. Becker thank you thank you for this talk! One of my guys are 17yrs old (cat) and he has been on raw for years. Recently he started to show some kidney issues so I have to bring him back for bloodwork again to see if things have improved. The vets are trying to get me to buy their prescription food and I keep asking 'well what about it is better than raw food? What in this food is going to help his condition?' they can't tell me... they keep saying "Well this is a successful food and formulated by a vet. Cats on this diet see improvements" to which I then ask 'are they not normally feeding a conventional pet food diet? If I am going from raw to this food which has grain and corn in it and meat by-products I don't think it would do him any good'. So there has been some back and forth but long story short - conventional veterinarians don't seem to know ..

Excellent information! Your are 100% right! Many raw or cooked fresh food companies are sprouting quickly and not all are good. Understanding balance is key! Some are ‘selling their way’ and no other way is good. That’s a red flag! PLUS discussing environmental impacts is spot on! AND mentioning detoxing!!! We had to deal with a toxic mold home that made us all sick and detox was so important! Thank you for taking the time to explain the cautions people do need to be aware of while helping us feed better with other care!

Happy to hear about the new cookbook! I pretty much feed my cats and dogs the way you do I use store bought raw and I make their food too. I have been using your homemade dog food recipe from 7 years ago! I add taurine when I make it for my cats, but I'm always looking for recipes for cats and don't find much. Hoping your new book provides recipes for cats.

LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you sooooo much for always pouring knowledge! ❤️

No fiber for carnivores. Steaming doesn’t remove Oxalate. Once you have had kidney stones you learn. Check out Sally Norton. ❤Thanks for your videos!

  • @darend44

Yay I can’t wait for your recipe book. I love your book you wrote years ago that has the synthetic vitamin mineral recipe in it. Love it. I’ve wondered if you have any changes to the vite/mineral recipe in the book since the publication of the book.😊

I saw one of your older videos about spaying and neutering. We have a 9 month female cat we found when she was 5 weeks old. Got her all her vaccines and checked for cancer. Do we have to get her fixed. We really dont want to put her through that but keep hearing if we dont shell get cancer. Im truly losing sleep over this. Very worried want to do whats right for our kitty. Thank you for your channel

Dr. Becker, an answer to the first question might also be thatSusan Thixon puts out a list of foods that they have researched. They send out questionnaires to all the dog food companies and the companies send back the questionnaire with proof. Then she releases the top dog food companies. All different categories. You have to pay for the list though.

Thank you for this wonderful session. I really appreciate you explaining in detail. One example is I feel diatomaceous earth is often used incorrectly, to the point of causing harm to our pet. And the reason is because most sites don’t mention the but “be careful parts “like you. I hope this video spreads because you are such a great educator. And I’m currently reading The forever dog!

I know that preparing food dor our dog or feeding raw is a healthy way to go. We are travelers and we have a tiny fridge, no constant meat source, etc. What food or a way if feeding our aussie you would suggest?
