It was so interesting hearing everyone’s stories. All of them seem so chill. The Perth guys are awesome. Mustache man with the mission impossible putting an engine in his car in the snow.
Honestly looks like an absolute blast being there. I don't drift at all but I love watching it and seeing all of this kind of content. I do wrench on my own cars and friends cars so I know what it's like to have that comradery of all helping each other out on things and then getting to go on track and see what your hard work can do.
Getting the back history on Ebisu and all the international peeps that share a love for the sport is really interesting and well worth your time documenting Jimmy. Keep it up man!
The amount of regret I have for not pushing earlier in my life to get into drifting. Feeling like I’ve wasted the last 14 years not pursuing it harder.
It’s so funny seeing Ebisu during matsuri, ever single person is a foreigner, not one local in sight! Jimmy and Grant did it right coming early, they saw the real Ebisu. I think watching this I would want to go in the off season.
Who cares if they're foreigners.. When you're dooring a driver are you thinking about their nationality? It's all about the driving. Whether or not they are local is irrelevant, as everyone is doing the same shit no matter what. Get a cheap car, throw it together with cheap second hand parts and go shred.
this is the smartest thing to focus on for content imo. Most of the interesting convos and stories in any community are in all the people who arent youtubers or social media people
As someone who has never been to ebisu but has watched it from so many peoples perspectives for the past 7 years, I have to agree it’s about the vibes. Just from the videos it’s a different but amazing vibe, so I’m sure for the people actually there it’s on another level.
Jimmy, your living the dream brother. Drifting all over the world, running your own shop with a great group of brothers. And ebisu a couple times a year which bumps your skills up so much while just having an amazing vacation to boot. Congratulations on all your success
Dude this was such an interesting video. Please if you can do it again. Maybe like drop one everytime you visit to maybe showcase the cars in pervious videos still living on
Jimmy fantastic video driving videos I love, but it does get old watching everyone’s video and it’s the same. This idea of interviewing people in the pits was pure genius. I absolutely love the stories looking at the cars. I hope you do more videos like this before you leave bravo, my friend, one of my favorite videos of yours all year.
Just want to say thx for the different video I respect the fact that people are so open to telling there stories and the diversity of language barrier personality and so on can come together and be friend and do what they love to do. Jimmy be good have fun and be sat you are killing it dude Grant aswhile keep on tubing Grant mofo lol
The more I see the Ebisu videos and hear those stories, the more it has become a bucketlist goal to at least go there but better to drift there. Loving it, keep the content going brother.
Thanks Jimmy for the different version of Video. You were right though it isn't always just about the driving but the stories of the drivers and the history of the cars that have been at Ebisu a long time as well.
goal for 2024 all of Oakes garage crew in Japan. gotta get Steve on school course in a jzx and spoon an Rjay running doors with jimmy. oh and get austin to tag out on filming to get some laps in also.
I’ve discovered the matsuri in 2014, back when r34 gtt coupes were 3k lol still a dream visiting it while it still happening even trough everything changed so much as time progressed
Drifting ebisu is a life goal for me. I hope one day I can make it. Until then I’m stoked to be watching Jimmy enjoy it.
Sideways experience look them up
@@justjoshing4164 Still super expensive if add everything up imo
@@justjoshing4164 I have looked into it I'm just not there financially yet. Between building my s14 and starting a business its just not an option.

EXACTLY!!! Bucket List For Sure!!! Idc if I have to ride shotgun I just want the experience!!! But drifting there would be a Dream Come True!!!
I am enjoying the stories from everyone WAY more than I expected. Keep them coming and thanks in advance!
That dude at the beginning had such a good personality. All the bro and brother talk is great to see over the common love of cars.
That’s standard Aussie tbh, a lot of us are like that!
This is why I follow so many Aussie car stuff pages. Love the vibe.
These story videos are killer. So cool hearing everyone's experiences!

The way you kinda went behind the scenes for the history and people is awesome
Ausi guys just always have a cool vibe. They give respect and demand it in return and if that’s all good they’re super nice.
The first dude has such great energy.. I love all the aussies in general. Enjoyed this video
The amount of regret I have for not pushing earlier in my life to get into drifting. Feeling like I’ve wasted the last 14 years not pursuing it harder.

only the gaijin. the locals feel about them the way we would if our playground was overrun by people we don't know
My new 964 hoodie just arrived in the mail (from the Netherlands, so it took a while). IT LOOKS SO GOOD!
I was like, an effin interview vid? One of my favorites of all time! Great job Jim...

That buzz is the same one that got everyone into cars in the first place, enjoying what you've got, making do with what you have.
When he showed how the JZX used to look like at 18:30, I started crying a bit. Props to still sending it.

THE BEST EBISU VIDEO BY FAR. The stories really hit different, it legit feels like I'm just chilling in the skate park with the homies.
The stories are fantastic dude, keep them coming please.

this is the smartest thing to focus on for content imo. Most of the interesting convos and stories in any community are in all the people who arent youtubers or social media people
So cool to see some of the history of these cars, and the people who enjoy them. Would definitely love to see more videos like this in the future!
