Practical shooting is where its at. I bought Stoeger's books and have been running Noner's and Matt's drills and dry fire for a few years now. The progress has been staggering. My 13 year old started with no preconceived notions or bad habits and is a hell of a technical and fast shooter from it. Cant thank these guys and thier circle enough. Ive learned from all the guys mentioned
God bless you sir, and your family. I know it is of little solace but my family and entire group of friends wanted to fall at your feet and thank you for being you !! Your CNN interview was the first time I felt allied with what we (called) the USA. The country sold out and I guess I am not surprised, I just don't get it and when people I have known all my life wont acknowledge this miscarriage of justice with the pardon of these Trump bums is beyond me. I am old enough to understand that people vote for their pocketbooks over everything else. How they could do this in this election and not see what they were allowing to happen here in America just kills me!! I am rambling ,GOD BLESS YOU !!
Came here because a fan of Mike's on X was upset about the CZ P10c existing. I almost want to go back and thank him now after hearing this podcast episode.
Ive learned a ton from Mike. SO much so when he went down the micro path I jumped on and dang I learned even more. Carry a Lego gun 43x with his grip mod, dot, comped and shield mags. Im going to compete with it now and see what I can learn. I actually am able to do doubles with consistent .16-.18 splits with it too in the A zone at 10 yards! thanks for having him on
Every time former Unit guys talked about the Unit. They always emphasized that CAG/Delta is above and beyond they've been exposed to. It's like no matter how great their backgrounds were, getting selected and actually work in the Unit required a degree of focus that they didn't know existed. No wonder there's a certail mystique about CAG/Delta.
I've known Mike since he came to SF in the early 90's, and he hasn't changed much since then. Who he was is who he is. Except around that right eye area.
I am glad that Mike gives love the Marine Corps. I have followed him for years and learned a lot. Recon are VERY capable. The Marines in general get no love in this bearded operator world, but they have done amazing things and have produced some of the finest warriors on the planet. There have been a few Marines that have gone to Delta. One was even a "conventional" Marine, so that alone should be proof enough that they produce a fine infantryman. I am so glad that he addressed why there even is a Navy SOCOM unit, yet the Marines are pushed aside. It is totally backwards. I got to see it first hand while I was in. You pull some rust picker off of a ship, and make him a seal and the ego ensues. It is like someone firing a weapon for the first time, and then they go around braggin about it. At least other SOF units recruit from infantry, so you guys that are already used to the culture. It has always befuddled me how we got passed over. Mike is always fun to listen to!

Great podcast! I actually learned a lot from this. “We want good steel. We’ll make our own knives.” BAM
Mike is such a good dude and teacher! "Gotta live hard to be hard, can't just turn it on one day."
