It only proves you have not found out where the great music comes from these days. This is especially a problem for people who live isolated on the big lost island and think thats the whole world, since in fact you have to look to countrys like Netherlands, Finnland and Japan maybe 😉

The live version is decent, but the studio version is in credible!!! Jimmy Overdubbed something like 9 guitars on that song. It makes you want to be a musician!!! The guitar work is phenomenal! Jimmy Page is a genius!!!
It's cool to see an hear them rock a different arrangement. Nothing wrong with the band wanting to change things up, as musicians, it probably got boring playing every studio version song note for note, so it's fun for them and shows the fans versatility... but, for me, the Studio Version of Stairway really kicks it.
Robert Plant was their singer and played harmonica. Jimmy Page was their guitarist, he created the band and produced all their albums. John Paul Jones was their bassist and keyboardist. John Bonham was their drummer. Band extraordinaire.
Often imitated, never duplicated. The one and only! Like Queen, they are 4 extraordinary talents who are each very highly skilled and together they are simply magic. They struck gold so many times that gold took out a restraining order!
Is it only who thinks that the live versions of this track get a level of focus that they’ve been up until then sorely needing when John Bonham comes in with the drums? To me it’s pedestrian, plodding and lacking in direction before the drums (and the overall change in focus and fixing of timing that they bring to the other instruments) come in.
Try SINCE IVE BEEN LOVING YOU Live 1973. Madison Square garden..I've heard Stairway To Heaven more times than I can count and every now and then I still get tingles. The Greatest band ever!!!
Can't remember the first time I heard that song. It has always been a staple of my childhood.Great song, great version. Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands in the world
Has been since early 70’s when I last saw somebody listening to Led Zeppelin for the first time. I saw them Live the first time on 24 Jan 1975 at the Ritchfield Coliseum. I had tears in my eyes when they played “Stairway To Heaven”. Then, I saw them again on 30 April 1977 at the Pontiac Silverdome and I again had tears for Stairway. What can I say. Had em again here. Thanks so much young lady for the memories!
It’s wonderful to me to see young people appreciating the music I grew up with. The bands from the 70’s and 80’s were epic rock and deserves to never be forgotten. Can I suggest Kashmir from Led Zep which is spine tingling ua-cam.com/video/YhaDq3rQM4g/v-deo.html. and White Queen by Queen live at the Odeon Hammersmith 1975. It has the most beautiful instrumental segment in the middle that that blow your mind and Freddie Mercury’s vocals are perfection ua-cam.com/video/f8usNj4x9NA/v-deo.html. Good reaction girl, I loved watching your face as you were listening to it. You were really in to it!
9 year old epic gamer soldier and nowhere near as atmospheric. I've never heard a live version that can equal the original. I just need that acoustic opening.
Yes, this is one of my favorite rock songs. I've been listening to it since I first started listening to music, in the 1980s. I'm an older guy now. :-) And, having seen many women, let me assure you that you don't need a bunch of makeup to look pretty. You're quite lovely. Enjoy the Zeppelin journey you've started. It is replete with wonders and rewards the attentive listener. They are arguably the greatest rock band ever; certainly it's hard to find any more influential rock band outside of the Beatles.
You're RIGHT! That WAS the BEST GUITAR SOLO you've EVER HEARD! Because if that was your 1st time hearing Stairway to Heaven, you've NEVER heard anything before that was GREATER than THAT. But that doesn't mean you won't LOVE any other of LED ZEPPELIN'S MASTERPIECES just as MUCH, or even MORE!! Lucky You!🍒🍒🍒
There are Zeppelin staples with Stairway being a good introduction. Add to your playlist, 'Since l've been loving you' 'When the levee breaks' 'Achilles last stand' 'Kashmir' 'You shook me' 'Good times, bad times' 'Moby dick' & 'Fool in the rain' Understand, you could choose virtually any song from their repertoire and still end up having an eargasm.
The Tele for the most part was his go-to guitar extensively used in the studio and Page used it live in the Yardbirds. Odd that I don't ever recall him playing it live at Led Zeppelin gigs.
They were the best band ever especially live. And Jimmy never played any solos the same way twice. He literally did whatever he felt like and improvised on the spot. Incredible player!! Ps watch it again and look how often he's ripping a solo out with his eyes shut!!!
Ya I dont think she actually watched the video.. just listened... ruined it for me.. missing the esthetic which is a big no no to LZ. shoulda just done studio If she wasn't gonna watch
To be fair Jimmy absolutely did retain clear motifs from studio versions of solos in his live work. You can clearly hear it here... the opening measures of this solo are a direct replication of the way the album solo comes in and progresses. What he absolutely did do live was expand significantly upon the album solos, both in duration and content, with improvised sections. To be honest, even listening as a guitarists I think that met with mixed results. Sometimes those added sections were inspirational, exciting and added real interest to a track. Other times I find myself thinking that I understand why studio recordings had shorter and more focused solos because the live solos are sometimes repetitive, or meandering (in a bad way) or lacking in focus and detract from the song as a whole rather than adding.
that's what real rock n roll doesn't to you girl. you don't listen to it, you feel it! I'm glad you like it! you were in another world in this video :)
Each an everyone of these guys could be a part of a band that would be extraordinary. To have them all as part of the same band is one of those things that will not be replicated ever again....RIP Bonzo.

@@blairdrummond5043 I was there at the concert. Dave Gilmour is the only person that can make a guitar sing cry and tell a story at the same time. The second solo was by far the best. Look on UA-cam for the uncut version, then say the first solo was better

I remember being your sort of age, probably younger and hearing this song for the fist time - great to relive those raw emotions through you. Glad too, that you will be reacting to Since I've Been Loving You, on October 11th of this same year, which is the GOAT by the GOAT
One of the greatest rock songs ever by one of the best, if not the best rock bands ever. I was fortunate enough to see them live twice in one week way back in 1977 (yes, I am that old).
Wether you like LZ or not, this track is magic. Musicians don't do music like that anymore, in the sense that the track tells a story and puts you into multiple waves of different emotions. I am glad you listened to the long version :)

LZ is performing here at Madison Square Garden in New York City. "The Garden" , as New Yorkers call it, hosted some of the most famous people in show business history, as well as many sporting events, and also political conventions. A TV program was on a few years ago called "The Top 50 moments at Madison Square Garden." The performance you're seeing here was voted the No. 1 "moment" at the Garden. Zeppelin beat out presidents like Jimmy Carter and George Bush, as well as performers like Frank Sinatra (I saw Sinatra at the Garden in the `1970's)
You should listen to the Heart cover at the Kennedy center honors show. It brought tears to Robert Plant. They were the only band that got a standing ovation not only from the crowd but also from the Wilson sisters idols the 3 remaining members of Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant said was the best cover ever.
There's a reason this somg was ranked #31 in Rolling Stone's top 500 rock songs. I suggest Since I've Been Loving You should be next. I really enjoyed your reaction.
Really enjoyed your reaction.Ive been rockn since the 70s .Still the best guitar solo ive heard too.Checkout ,"Black dog,""Since ive been loving you "and "Dazed and confused"from that same concert.they sold out 3nights in a row at the end of july in 73.at Madison square garden.Thats what they made the movie "The Song remains the same".
Hello, I have a serious question, why is literally no one reacting to "Raign, knocking on heavens door" So powerful, beautiful, complex and emotional. Such a unique voice. Have a nice day.
This is the last reaction I am listening to the second time. The pink Floyd reactions brought me to your channel. I liked them so I watched the Zepplin and Maiden ones and I was hooked. I am going through all your videos backward so I still have a way to go. By the way, you look great with or without makeup you look gorgeous. With the nicest eyes, I just wish I could figure out what color they are(it changes).
can I suggest if you haven't seen it -- watching Heart doing "Stairway" at the Kennedy Center when Zeppelin got a career award during the Obama Administration, and the surviving 3 are filmed watching the performance -- and Jason Bonham, the late John's son is playing with Heart ...... VERY emotional
If I’m not mistaken that’s a Welsh accent so you may be interested to know that the initial chord sequence to this song was written by Jimmy Page & Robert Plant in a small 18th Century cottage called Bron Yr Aur located in the hills just outside Machynlleth in mid Wales. The song was then completed and recorded at a country house in Hampshire called Headly Grange. It’s considered by many to be the greatest rock song of all time. Cymru am byth
So listen and enjoy the LZ legacy !!!!!!!!! It's reminds me my 1st LZ experience (a long time ago......) and you made me shiver. Thanks to You, have fun and take care of you.
You're beautiful and I love your clips. I think someone as young as you listening to my 60's music is the best things I have seen in these reaction videos. When you talked about Stairway to Heaven you referred to Jimmy Page as the guitar guy and Robert Plant as the singer. That almost killed me. You don't know the legend of this group and these guys. If I could only tell you so much about the music you react to like Hey Jude. It was the song of the year when it came out, the song of decade and the song of the century. Of all the songs in the twentieth century, that song was deemed the greatest ever. Wish I could tell you more. I have subscribed to your channel.
that was ok. the original version is still the best. thanks, love for this reaction. great pick. big shoutout from just across the pond from this old, longhaired, wildeyed, southem boy in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. U.S.A. Much peace and lots of love. go with God. see ya on the next.
You have only begun your Led Zeppelin journey! My favorite of theirs is ten years gone. But you'd be hard pressed to find a bad song from their catalogue. I also recommend when the levee breaks, off of the same album. Also Kashmir, Ramble On, The Song remains the same, Achilles Last Stand, In the Light, and perhaps What should and never be.
I sub'd today cause a friend of Zep is a friend of mine 💖That guy is Jimmy Page n that solo well let's just say it's PERFECTION. I agree "Since I've been loving you" same concert MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 73 you will not regret. Zep is a rabbit hole you need to explore✌️
i had to chuckle a little when you lit the lighter up, because this is exactly the kind of stadium anthem that periodically got dumped and elevated and dumped and elevated through the intervening decades since 1971. It's their signature tune of course, but I almost can't hear it anymore. It's as familiar as the back of my hand.
Back a few years ago, well many years, there was a poster with an iconic photo of Page and Plant from this concert at Madison Square Garden 1973, I had it on my bedroom wall along side the 2 posters from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album that came out in '73 too. I was in high school when Led Zeppelin IV came out, just another great album by them. You need to react to "Dazed and Confused" from this same concert. Also Heart's version of this song at the Kennedy center honors.
Led Zeppelin burst into the rock world - The Beatles revolution, which was beyond great - in the late '60s and hard rock had it's Master. (Many disagree, but that's too bad.) The songs, the instruments, and the VOICE provided by Led Zep set a stage in music that is on the level of the Greats. We know them all: Elvis, Sinatra, and all true fans know the rest.
Review a Welsh band called Budgie, they did a track called Parents which is a bit like Stairway to Heaven.....but better, with beautiful guitar....I'm from Newport south Wales
The guitar work here was good, but I think the studio version on the album, is actually better. I'd say if you liked that live version, you really should sit down and listen to the entire album. Stairway is the last song on side one. One of the great things about Led Zep, every song is different. So many bands, they'd have a hit and then they'd say that was the blueprint, so they'd just try to keep churning it remakes of the same song. Led Zep played all kinds of music, from gentle folk to some of the hardest rock in the world in the early '70s, and everything in between. Every single song was different. The Immigrant song - Black Dog - Rock n Roll - Kashmir - they're all unique. When The Levy Breaks is an old blues number, that's a direct cover. Going to California was a tribute to flower-power and the hippies...
I remember clearly hearing this the first time..was about 15 when i first listened to this beautiful song…that was 50 yrs ago and their music still stands strong as ever.

I absolutely loved watching you rock out with the Mighty Zep. You have definitely started on a path of wonder. Please continue . . .
All Led Zeppelin songs are our favorites you need to listen to them all
There's a reason this somg was ranked #31 in Rolling Stone's top 500 rock songs. I suggest Since
I've Been Loving You should be next.
You have to watch since I’ve been loving you live from this same concert at Madison square garden 1973
You have tears in your eyes? You are not allone! I`m 70, and i`ve tears everytime when i hear this song
Music is so subjective but when you ask people what is the the perfect song, Stairway to Heaven will be 9/10 peoples answer.
Even in 2020 it´s unbelievable for me that someone on planet earth doesn´t know this song :D
You have to have been living under a rock to not kn this band! None the less I am glad you finally discovered some of Rockc very best!
You have only begun your Led Zeppelin journey! My favorite of theirs is ten years gone. But you'd be hard pressed to find a bad song from their catalogue. I also recommend when the levee breaks, off of the same album. Also Kashmir, Ramble On, The Song remains the same, Achilles Last Stand, In the Light, and perhaps What should and never be.
so happy to see one so young enjoying TRUE , REAL music....
Since Iv'e Been Lovin You is a must . Thats it really !
thanks for your "unmasked" reaction xxx
Love your enthusiasm, never get tired. Of this song
Don't worry girl i am just getting caught up on the good stuff you have so far what you reacted to Zeppelin and Floyd good stuff girl
i had to chuckle a little when you lit the lighter up, because this is exactly the kind of stadium anthem that periodically got dumped and elevated and dumped and elevated through the intervening decades since 1971. It's their signature tune of course, but I almost can't hear it anymore. It's as familiar as the back of my hand.
Have you tried Rush yet? Freewill is a good place to start
Great music is timeless. New generations embrace it!
loved ur reaction to this classic song, tnx. and u look beautiful without makeup...
Also Heart's version of this song at the Kennedy center honors.
supporting you all the way from Australia........I love your work so far xoxoxo
and your reactions are ADORABLE and passionate they seem to come from the heart and THAT is a beautiful thing
This song isn't just big it's c9nsidered the greatest rock song ever written. Also preformed by the greatest and most talented band.
They used to play this at our school dances, the whole of it. Started as a slow dance....
a top song and your life will never be the same as the song remains the same....
This guy makes me masterpiece
Led Zeppelin burst into the rock world - The Beatles revolution, which was beyond great - in the late '60s and hard rock had it's Master. (Many disagree, but that's too bad.) The songs, the instruments, and the VOICE provided by Led Zep set a stage in music that is on the level of the Greats. We know them all: Elvis, Sinatra, and all true fans know the rest.
Getting the Led out!!! Hammer of the Gods!!🤘🏻
Best rock group in history 👍🏻💪🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Review a Welsh band called Budgie, they did a track called Parents which is a bit like Stairway to Heaven.....but better, with beautiful guitar....I'm from Newport south Wales
You will love The Lemon Song and Kashmir
You can also react to Heart singing stairway to heaven at Kennedy center!!
I wish I could hear this for the first time again
You don't need makeup. You're just lovely the way you are.
After hearing this you must listen to the Kennedy Center Tribute to Zeppelin headlined by Heart. Fantastic.
You picked the BEST version, the one I as a guitarist consider the benchmark of all things Stairway
You have very good taste. This song is 👌 👏
Dazed and Confused by Led Zepplin also from "The Song Remains
The Same" concert film soundtrack
Oh damn cool you got the live version even better
Saw them 1977 NYC......MSG........great show.of course.....
Number one song of all time...period.
It's a shame proper bands like Led Zeppelin don't get signed by record labels anymor
