The world of Celestia acts kind of like a wall for new players. Critical is suddenly introduced and enemy decks are much more dangerous. Its the first world to require players to put thought into the layout of their deck as they won’t be able to breeze through this world like they were able to in the Arc 1 worlds.
i also think wintertusk provides quite a challenge. because i’m on my first wizard im level 56 and man it’s not like it’s hard but i have to kinda make sure i kill when i’m setting up or else i could die especially when having a small deck when trying to optimize to faster battles I am enjoying the game a lot though. As i’m doing wintertusk to get ahead for celestial.
Solo storm in celestia without having done grizzle and tusk is a complete nightmare, some bosses are capapable of killing in the first or second round instantly because of critical
Pls don’t stop posting wizard content, I just came back on at 23yrs old and I just want everyone back into it, I feel like I missed so much I’m so glad to be back. I’ve been watching your videos to learn and they are sooooo helpful!!!!
novus is hard if you go running into it with darkmoor gear, also this is the only world where you need to pack pierce blades because all the enemies have universal resist
I personally believe celestia or wintertusk are the hardest worlds in the game (depending on which one you do first). If you do wintertusk first; the power spike from DS is insane and ice enemies hit like trucks with their mutate spells and shields. With celestia it’s similar but when you go in after DS, they hit you with 7 pip AOE’s and critical so it really is just like an ayo moment until WW gear.
No but I struggled with Krokotopia more than any other world until dragonspyre. I had to beg for help for the dungeons, so hard. And also I had a bad time in moshu because enemies were balance all the time.
i soloed waterworks on a lvl 68 ice, It was not as difficult as i expected. More around A tier (Bazzar 58+ Full Ice Celestia gear gives you over 50 universal resist)
He’s rough for newer players. I remember struggling against him when I was a kid. Not too hard if you have semi-decent gear and even easier if you have monstrous tcs.
i think lemuria is a bit high. as a fire wizard i was able to 100% solo lemuria with probably only around 10 deaths. most worlds have 1 or 2 really hard bosses or dungeons that are almost impossible to solo, especially for a fire wizard, but you can actually solo the entirety of lemuria pretty easily.
not NECESSARILY against your point, but when I made this video I believe it was before they change the final fight and made it easier. If it wasn't then I certainly forgot they made it easier.
@@KaiserNoah yea i just played lemuria a couple weeks ago, i have no idea what the fight was like originally but i suspected it was probably nerfed because it was SO easy.
Avalon is difficulty done right in a world imo, tough boss fights that might beat you once or twice but don't seem frustrating. I think Darkmoore is a dungeon done correctly difficulty wise, you get gear that matches the challenge.
Kaiser as a new fan of your channel I wanna say thank you for the tips and advice I know from a lot of videos myth is underrated or not the best to solo as but I plan on proving as a new player once my laptop comes in myth is the the legendary hero we need
As someone that's played this game forever I always find myself dying at least twice in wizard city-early krok, I'll get lazy and try to rush through some of it and forget my limitations lol
You should make videos on low level tutorials, like 1-50 in depth stuff… I see no tutorials online of arc 1 stuff it all seems to just be “known”… anyways thanks for helping me get back in the game after 11 years haha
when i got to darkmoor my first time, me and this group of randoms were getting absolutely cooked but after a few tries, we communicated strategies and eventually got it, then continued to just get better and better until all 4 of us got to malistaire. some of the most fun I've ever had in the game, phenomenal dungeon
Imo celestia and azteca act as a very similar obstacle where the difficulty just goes up a ton. Not to the same level as azteca but celestia is still a jump from dragonspyre so it’s definitely A tier for me
Part of why I think Marleybone and part of Mooshu is so easy is that the second I hit level 30 (which happens pretty early since I do every single side quest), I drop everything and grind the first Aquila dungeon until I have the full Zeus set. That makes the game fairly easy until Celestia.
I think this is a good tier list in terms of the experience of a veteran player, but it'd look way way different if it were a tier list based on how difficult of a time a brand new player would have. Marleybone is a total breeze now but when I first started playing things like Big Ben and Kensington Park used to feel like nearly insurmountable challenges. I'd definitely put it above Wizard City and Krokotopia in the context of a new player.
You forgot one small thing... Tower of the Helephant, the first fight. It really starts with a bang. But that aside, yes, Wysteria is F tier. Again, that's a level 60 dungeon, and I find it to be even harder than Waterworks. Especially since not many people are doing it.
That is a completely optional side quest. I wouldn't consider something completely optional as reflective on the world. Otherwise any worlds with skeleton key bosses would jump a whole tier. Some of em even two or three.
I'd like to add, there have been a few times in Celestia where I've been 1-hit by triton and they get a critical and have a blade or I've fainted the enemy or something. A few times where I'm sitting there like "what the."
krok is hard in the sense that you don't have aoe AND enemies get weakness and later on tower shield which makes things even SLOWER (all relatively speaking because they're not much longer of fights but aoe makes things easier)
I thing I actually do is do Celestia and wintertusk at the same time then get to wintertusk crafted gear rush through wintertusk then rush through celestia.
New players don’t understand how hard some of the older worlds were in the 2nd into 3rd arch Aztecs-Mirage playing solo before they did patches each time was rough literally halved the health of all mobs and bosses in those worlds
This may be an unpopular opinion but I feel like Khrysalis is actually harder than Azteca. Or possibly very slightly below, but not a full tier below. You’re coming out of Azteca with their ridiculous bosses, gear already failing and enter a world as long as Khrysalis with almost 300 quests. The fact that you have to do half of that world (or more) with failing gear is insane. Even 150 quests is shorter than a lot of the other worlds. I understand once you get Darkmoore gear it’s easier but I have never struggled in Azteca the way I do in Khrys.
Polaris and Karamelle should be in C, Novus in B, Catacombs top of S list (hardest fights in game) Wysteria D if you count tower of Helephant. Very solid list though!
I think novus is difficult s tier every mob has resist and with a low piercing you will suffer, every boss cheats unlike lemuria where certains boss don't
for me as a newer player (sitting in Karamelle rn) that is soloing the game, I've found that Krokotopia and Dragonspyre were extremely difficult from Arc1, Arc2 is a complete blur but Azteca was the most obnoxious world, and personally I would rank Polaris above Khrysalis just for the fact that I think Baba Yaga and The Rat were much more difficult to solo than Khrysalis. I felt that the only hard dungeon was that one dude that aoe hit you every round (cant remember the name) and the Gallery was fun, but Morganthe was super easy and really underwhelming. Keep in mind, I had no idea what I was doing for the first 40-50 levels, had no pet, no gear (mnt olympus) nor did I use TC dmg enchants or TC's in general so that made Arc1 a nightmare.
For me it's the power spike in enemies and lack of power spike in gear for chrysalis. It came out before darkmoor too so normally you complete it with waterworks gear
@@trevorbrooks7816 I mean you get Darkmoor gear midway through Khyrsalis, but even the first half is okay, sometimes maybe even easier than Azteca, but is just too long. Even Shadow spells which supposed to be a big thing both in the story and the gameplay feels underwhelming because you never actually generate them and you also do not unlock any good shadow spells before level 108.
@@simkec2143 depends what your level was inquesting, technically chrysalis is only supposed to take you to level 100 so you're supposed to do darkmoor after it. But also you have to remember that the reason Chrysalis feels easy in the beginning is because they literally give you a 50% damage bonus and 25% resist bonus through dyvim, and tons of other bonuses along the way. The main problem is for random reasons certain fights won't have these companions so the difficulty from fight to fight is super variable in chrysalis depending on if you have a companion or not to give you boosted stats
@@simkec2143 To me the reason they included followers to boost stats in chrysalis was to make up for the fact that you couldn't get gear upgraded from waterworks until the end of chrysalis. Since it's the final world of an arc, it is actually supposed to be more difficult than the last. Cuz the fact that followers stat boost in Polaris are 10% damage (Ivan) when dyvim gave 50 damage and 25 resist just doesn't make sense until you factor in the darkmoor power up
@@simkec2143 Chrysalis is definitely disappointing for the fact that Shadow magic isn't even that useful in Pve during it, And the shadow enhanced spell is tied to darkmoor
@@KaiserNoah ya I agree both have their challenges that’s why still in A tier but you never run darkmoor or waterworks alone and a team can handle both with ease

I dont know any videos in particular so ill just give you some tips. I dont know when you stopped playing but if its over 5 years ago then that would be pre arc 4 and the game has changed a bit since then. First off, gear choices. Dragoon gear isn't really worth farming anymore (and none of the catacombs is worth doing really). Merciless gear in lemuria is good and aeon in novus is even better. Stuff such as guilds and raids are out of my realm, but they have been added and can be fun to join. Beastmoon and Deckatholon are events that can be fun to get some interesting rewards and enjoy a different aspect of the game. PVP is also unknown but i know this meta has seen quite a few spells being banned. Xibalba isnt really that bad anymore and really neither is belloq. Khrysalis suffers the same fate as azteca its 1. The longest world and 2. Part 1 is rough pre darkmoor gear its actually a challenge but once you do darkmoor you will breeze through it

@@crisalidarinaldi2011 you don’t have the recipe and you can’t buy it from ignus? As long as you’ve started the quest it should be possible to get the recipe.
Progress in azteca will always be extremely slow, but if you want my main tip: get potent trap, double feint bosses, and then 7 pip aoe. That should realistically kill most bosses in a single hit. At level 88 in terms of gear, you’d be using full waterworks, along with the wintertusk level 56 ring and athame. I have plenty of guides on these topics if you need more info.
As someone who played the 100K malistare the og big Ben was the hardest fight in the game. Now it's a joke hahaha. More like f tier. My brother beat it drunk never played the game once. Random picking cards
100K malistaire never existed, it's a total mandela effect. prenerf malistaire was 10k I believe. 100k was only for an april fool's event back in the day and I'm not sure there is any footage of anyone ever beating it OG Big Ben was annoying rather than difficult. The real bastard was the Spiral Geographic society in the old Celestia prequest. definitely do agree that the game is considerably easier than it used to be. kids these days don't know how good they have it
@Pointy fairly sure it was 100K but it was 14 years ago so I may be misremembering it. You are correct in stating that no one beat it on launch. His attacks would wipe a party roughly after 100 rounds as wizards had about 2.4K hp with smaller decks. 45 cards? Celestial tower was easy, more of a chore th3n hard
Back in the day I remember getting absolutely cooked by Chester Droors in Wysteria
Doing his fight on my life and balance wizards were straight ass.
Yoooo I agree! Chester was impossible for me to beat for a good minute!
Mirage when it released, right before its nerf, was a really nice challenge. Probably one of the most difficult worlds pre-nerf.

Can someone please PLEASE tell me how to get the recipe for Baba Yaga’s Legendary Mace? I have the quest but I cannot craft it, I stopped playing in 2015 and just started again and have 0 clue how to craft this mace 😭
you should have the recipe or be able to buy the recipe from ignus, and then craft it in the forge in the arcanum
@@KaiserNoah I don’t have it 😭
@@crisalidarinaldi2011 you don’t have the recipe and you can’t buy it from ignus? As long as you’ve started the quest it should be possible to get the recipe.
@@KaiserNoah omg yes thank you. I bought it :)
@@crisalidarinaldi2011 glad to help :)
I’m at Marley bone and mf had 3,300 health, I’m level 32 and I’ve done none of the worlds except wizard and krok, is this underleveled?
I mean, no? 32 is actually higher than i usually leave marleybone at. If 3300 health is hard to deal with make sure to use feints.
Level 32 ish is about right and could be starting mooshu, i havent played in years
My life wizard is in floating islands in azteca and the progress is insanely slow how can I improve Time? Lvl-88

Khrysalis is to short of world, 😢 way to fast n easy should double length
As someone who played the 100K malistare the og big Ben was the hardest fight in the game. Now it's a joke hahaha. More like f tier. My brother beat it drunk never played the game once. Random picking cards
100K malistaire never existed, it's a total mandela effect. prenerf malistaire was 10k I believe. 100k was only for an april fool's event back in the day and I'm not sure there is any footage of anyone ever beating it
OG Big Ben was annoying rather than difficult.
@@alexmiller4534 100k malistaire was for a full week and there is footage on youtube of people beating it
You seem like you eat easy content :)
hell yeah i do
