Biba! A big part of my youth. I met a few people who worked there and two are still firm friends, and with whom I am still in touch. We all went out socially to parties and events, we went to the Stones concert in Hyde Park. There is a clip that shows one of the Biba girls, Irene, on someone shoulders. One of the girls I knew who worked there was Catherine Tollemache of the family from Ham house. I bought many clothes and decorated my bedroom in Biba wall paper. I met everyone from the shop in Church Street. I bought a pink dress that created a stir in Paris, as they did not wear anything that short in France at the time. Great times!
What great memories .. especially causing a stir in Paris! This is what being young is all about.

So sorry but have to say this- Please don’t leave the tap running when doing your nighttime routine it’s wasting water.
Not as much as the UK water industry with 51 litres per person per day wasted. Those car jet washing guys everyone uses are the most wasteful ever, gallons of water literally runs down the drains every single car wash. They should be banned and go back to a time when all you needed was a bucket and sponge 😂
Jo when you remove your eye make please don’t rub back and forth you should just place the pad on each eye one side then the other leave it there for a moment so it has time to dissolve the make up and then just sweep the pad to the outside of your eye I have watched you do it so many times I just had to comment sorry love love your blogs

That hotel looks FAB. I think it’s just what you needed, after the year you have had. OMG, and that coffee shop name - HILARIOUS. Love the music accompaniment to that piece. Another superb video, Jo!

Jo, because of this video I just canceled my other hotel reservation and booked the Botree. I can’t afford the beautiful suite they comped you, but I want you and them to know this partnership worked. I researched hotels for weeks and this never popped up. I love it! Treating my sister to a trip to London and cannot wait to surprise her with this. We are coming from the US so can’t bring our dogs, but we’ll be dining in the restaurant there because we hope to see others’ dogs…and because of the ambience and your recommendation. Thank you! ❤❤❤

Lots of things in hotels are there to make life easier these things can be achieved in our homes big or small and not expensive Mirrors/shelves etc and it can be taken when one moves if living in a flat ❤watching Sunday morning with my coffee 👍

That hotel is phenomenal - Billecart Salmon no less, not even the Ritz serves that to arriving guests. I'll definitely stay there on my next trip to London. Your black dress is stunning x

Biba shopping was a big part of my 20’s. My favourite buy was a pair of the most beautiful dusky blue, soft suede ,long boots. Wish I’d kept them!

The hotel looks amazing. I agree that you did look incredibly stylish. I have two dogs and am always walking through mud, rain and stench wearing a huge coat and wellies and feeling anything but chic😂

Oooh Jo…that’s the second time you’ve been wasting water! On a lighter note, I used to buy Biba when she first opened up in that tiny little chemist’s shop and was only open Fridays and Saturdays. The dresses cost 5 quid and were completely sold out by Saturday afternoon. Back in my glory days!

Hi Jo, Great vlog as always. When I was 14 (I think) my Father remarried and he and my then stepmother had their wedding reception at the Roof Garden at the top of Biba! We all wandered around Biba's and ended up in the garden on the roof and I was absolutely stunned by the setting. I suppose it was around 1973 and it was ground-breaking at the time. The surroundings were stunning, including the flamingoes! It made a great impression on my teenage mind! x
