All my beds are ottoman beds. I store loads of out of season clothing in plastic crates with lids on. You can fit a huge amount under there and so easy to access with the gas piston levers.
@@melindar3872 You only need to buy a base - I've just done it myself and it's great for storing spare bedding.
Keep the bed & buy the 4 leg raisers that give you a foot of extra storage space. Can fit so many storage containers & boxes/baskets then.

Enjoying my Sunday am with Jo. You need to do a collaboration with a closet organizer company! I think you have quite a bit of space that could be used for storage with the right containers and pieces.

Jo you can use a pressure curtain rod and long curtain to hide the stuff next to your armoire. I live in a small space too, I have some furniture that has hidden compartments for storage, it helps a bit. Loved Myrtle on your bed, she's the best! Love the pearls too!

Morning Jo always look forward to your weekly Vlogs. It seems storage is always a problem wherever you live. Is there anywhere in your building that you could use/hire on a temporary basis?
Bit controversial here but I did love your hair when it was shorter and shaped at the back. Thought is was a youthful and chic style - just my opinion. xx
I also loved Jo's shorter hairstyle. The way it was cut and shaped at the back gave her hair so much body and fullness compared to her longer hair now which looks limp and thin when not blow dried.
You got me getting all my pearls out.....don't know why I have not been wearing them but I definitely will be wearing them now. Thanks for your video Jo always enjoy what you have to share.

Also I noticed you have 2 bedside tables, what about getting rid of them and having a lowish set of drawers. Myrtle is adorable, the way she rushed into the groomers. It is a rental flat and came furnished, so she might not be able to, but there must be some shelving from Ikea that would fit in that area and she can removed if she moves.

Jo…I totally relate to your apt… I live in Manhattan and have a one bedroom! It’s challenging in terms of storage!! But I love it!!
I too live in a small space and have learned to place things away from sight. I have also placed plastic large baskets which are 6 inches high under my bed all around with items and I just pull out when needed, works wonders and things are hidden.

Get a chest as a coffee table where you can store clothes…also sitting stools that have are also storage cubes
Don' t like extremely damaged furniture. (I mean some wear with antiques is normal) . Same for new jeans with holes 🤪 .
