the small details really mean a lot I remember how I freaked out when I first saw Adam's file in saw 5 😭 also i would definitely pay for that fan service
I think Cary Elwes is over his hatred of Saw tbh. His said in a Q&A at a convention panel (last year I believe?) that if the fans wanted him back he'd do it
I'm so torn with the idea of Hoffman being still alive only because him being trapped in the bathroom by Dr Gordon was such a perfect way to end the chapter. Coming full circle, ending where it all began and Hoffman getting his commupance for his murder spree. For him to have died in the bathroom is almost poetic and very satisfying. On the other hand, I am completely in love with Mark Hoffman lol.😂❤ He clearly is resourceful, so it's not impossible for him to have at least got out of the shackles. Which would be interesting to find out if he manged to escape? Personally, I prefer to leave the idea of him escaping or being rescued to the amazing fanfiction authors out there! 📚❤😅 love the Channel BTW 😊 Always really look forward to the next Saw video! Xxx
I think Amanda feeling bad for Gabriella was definitely implied in the movie. Seeing as Amanda was a drug addict in the first movie prior to John “saving” her I think she just sees herself in Gabriella and hopes that she can “redeem” herself just as she did.
I know this is disputed but I think Cary Elwes will be coming back. Here’s why I think that’ll be the case: 1. It will be the 20th anniversary this year and it will be 20 years since fans saw Dr Gordon. I think it would be an epic way to celebrate Saw’s 20th birthday to announce Cary Elwes returning. It’s late to organise an international rerelease event in cinemas. 2. Cary is moving towards doing more mainstream roles. He recently did ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Pt 1’, ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’. He’s moved away from doing low budget movies because I feel like he wants a comeback to receive his well deserved flowers because he won’t be able to do it later. 3. Cary was last asked about returning BEFORE Saw X. It was when Spiral was the most recent movie and when the overall reputation of the franchise was poor. Saw X really changed the perception of the franchise for critics and the public, it made a lot of money. Perhaps Saw X reigniting excitement into the franchise and changing perceptions would persuade Cary in taking XI on. 4. This *could* be Tobin’s last film as John. We know that XII has been announced alongside XI but we have no idea if that’s a Post-Final Chapter movie or a prequel/midquel. If it’s a post-Final Chapter movie, John is dead. If it is Tobin’s last movie as John, I’m sure Cary would put aside any grudges he would have with the producers so he could be in Tobin’s last saw movie. He has a lot of respect for Tobin. 5. Relationships can change. Yes, Cary did sue the producers in 2005, settling before Final Chapter in 2010. I think that it is possible Cary would be willing to overlook their underpayment by this point. 6. Saw XI being pushed back. I know the reasons for this are more rumoured to be due to filming schedule clashes in Mexico/ rewrites BUT could another factor be that they did not anticipate Cary being brought back. Once Cary would have secretly agreed to it, the writers have had to edit in a logical storyline and plan when he’d shoot the scenes. He was busy this spring with other projects (when XI would have originally been filmed) so maybe he’s filming later in the year for ‘Saw XI’. I also don’t see Dr Gordon being in Mexico for the scene straight after X, he will most likely be in the US still recovering & being brainwashed.
Bro, she did die. You don't survive gettting shot in the beck and bleeding out to death! It's the same thing as saying Jigsaw survived from getting his neck slashed by a buzzsaw!
I was going to say Cecilia will set Hoffman free as some sort of weird revenge on John, but Amanda being alive is a good one, too. Maybe like you said, Hoffman will save Amanda with some cruel comment like, "you don't get off that easy". Then she shows up to free him, saying, "neither do you". I'm excited for 11, but really geeked up for 12 if they go the post saw 3d route!
I couldn’t agree more. I , too believe Amanda will be the one to end Cecilia. I say that because we all saw how disappointed Amanda was when Cecilia killed Gabriella. She was hurt by this action , and Saw XI could show Amanda placing her in first irreplaceable trap and killing her off. That will explain why by Saw 2 and 3 she is already seen as cold and vein.
since oren kroules is directing this he should totally bring back his iconic character that he played in the first movie, aka sleepy guy from the reverse beartrap game lol
I wanna see Kerry be the lead DT on trail of the “secret apprentice” I wanna see Hoffman set Amanda up to make it look like her traps are unwinnable I wanna see Norman Reedus in a trap like they had Sean Patrick Flannery cause I love The Boondock Saints as much as Saw
That wasn't an actual trap it was the killer skinning his accomplice and using his body to fake his death. I'm talking about an actual trap that removes the victim's skin automatically with no human diy. Like with a pressure washer, sandblaster, or mounted street sweeper brushes.
I hope we get so much more Costas Mandylor/Mark Hoffman!!! I loved seeing him in Saw X but wanted to see him much more than the 60 seconds we actually got 😭😭😭 Hope the Saw team knows how much Hoffman means to the fanbase!
I can totally see the Amanda thing happening and I would love that. This is how I would write it: Amanda opens the door, you barely see her face cause the bathroom is dark and the only light is from the hallway behind her. So when she opens the door, she smiles and says "missed me?" Hoffman says his "what the fuck?" as Amanda turns on the light and enters the room. She undoes the shackle, stands back up, looks down at him and says "come on, we've got work to do." And end scene! Haha. That would be incredible! Also I really want Saw 12 to be Hoffman vs. Gordon, lol.
I actually liked the plot of Jigsaw better than Spiral. The reveal of Logan being the one who made the mistake of switching John's X-Rays may have been one of the pivotal moments that shaped the whole franchise which everyone seems to have forgotten. No one even mentioned it in the movie. I would love to see Gordon and John have a conversation much like the scene with him, Hoffman and Amanda. I can definitely see a teachable moment for Logan, him being a student of medicine (he ended up becoming a coroner), where he and Gordon meet or interact which I think would add a lot to the story AND may put some future plot points in motion in regards to the new generation of Saw Disciples. After all, Logan does "speak for the dead". And honestly, who can say that isn't freaking EPIC?!
One thing I’m anticipating is that the storylines of these new set of films is that they’ll have an excuse to amend or try to redo some elements or plots that didn’t really pan out in the original 7 films, or could have been developed into something more intriguing and believable. I was a staunch opposer to the plot of Amanda going rogue and then what felt like a cheap amendment to have her be manipulated by Hoffman to I guess gain sympathy for her character after she just acted so frustratingly in Saw III. Probably one of my favorite aspects of Saw X is that they give such nuance to Amanda’s possible reasoning behind starting to lose faith in the traps and going against Jigsaw. I completely bought the sympathy she had for Gabriella for the similar struggles of addiction they faced, and it makes a world of sense to me to see her decide that she was just going to ruin it for most everyone after Gabriella’s murder. I truly believe part of what guaranteed the involvement of the actress who played Cecelia in Saw X was that she wouldn’t die/be killed off in that film. That’s just a hunch of mine because some actors and their agents do have agreements where they will refuse things either for an entire franchise they’re involved in or for at least the initial film. Still just a hunch, but I just think there was something odd and slightly off about how Cecelia really sidestepped any real cruelty or pain or suffering or learning throughout the whole film. This either means she’ll have her true comeuppance in Saw XI, or they’ll continue having her evade death, not unlike how Hoffman was was able to really avoid anything concrete happening to him, even though he did endure greater gore. It could be very likely that even if there isn’t any agreement in place to save Cecelia, the writers still want her to either get away or face maybe a legal fate of imprisonment as an alternative to offing her outright. Could also be like a Se7en thing where they give her an out of admitting her wrongdoing and getting legal repercussions for it, or she could off herself. To me, this would also be a spiritual amendment to the ending of Jigsaw, where the intention to expose corruption and criminal behavior was implied, but never really fully realized, which could be explored in depth in these new films. I also found the cop plots to be interesting and a neat departure or contrast to the direct gore. It’s interesting to note that one of the Saw films is listed partly as a crime drama, and that would be something pretty solid to see. Saw X did feel like at times they had no idea how the film would be received and no guarantee that another would be made, so they briefly explored some things in Saw X that people were curious about like a series of what ifs. For instance, John’s attachment to someone who was a friend like the boy who played soccer who was used in the trap with John. I think people long wanted to see what would happen when it really hurt Jigsaw specifically by his own hand, and someone escaping their trap to taunt or torture John Kramer seemed long long loooooong overdue. I also agree with some kind of flash forward to show or explain what happened with Hoffman would be great. Even Better Call Saul, at the beginning of most of its seasons, decided not to make the audience wait to see some immediate followup in the Breaking Bad timeline instead of just making the whole thing a prequel. I think I myself would be interested in a flashback that shows the bathroom being in its fully functional and new state. It’s got a strange configuration to begin with, but it would be interesting to see how Jigsaw knows about this, like was it a bathroom he built? Did he work for a company that had this bathroom in the area? Might seem like a lot, but the bathroom is a prominent location in the first film and scene throughout the franchise. Maybe they wouldn’t demystify it fully because the dilapidated nature really works best when there’s no history behind the strange bathroom. I would have LOVED to see Leigh Whannell writing again and/or James Wan’s involvement in the new films, because so much of what the franchise is is built upon what was cinematically and thematically founded and then expanded upon from the first film. I suppose it’s probably the least likely thing next to expecting to see Cary Elwes’ involvement again soon or at all, but I’m glad to hear it seems like they’ve got returning crew from some of the better Saw films to be able to make their mark that will bring back some consistency to the series at its greatest cinematic points, hopefully without seeming repetitive or uninspired. You can tell they had a lot of fun making the newest Saw film (X) and although some aspects of the film left me more confused and not really buying what happened, it feels like they found their footing in a way they haven’t been able to in years. Saw VI was the last great Saw film for years and even 3D had some glaring issues beyond the writing that just make it seem like it was done as made for TV film with how strange it felt altogether.
honestly if Amanda kills Cecilia, I'm hoping we get our most brutal non-trap death in the series I feel like it'd be really unique and help her death stand out from others
i would argue tbh the spiral cop plot was slightly better than jigsaw brain trap was almost perfect but the mask should've opened at the end and showed his effed up face
I want there to be a new Jigsaw killer, or god forbid Logan, who believes they should go after more genuinely bad people for these traps and they know Hoffman originally just wanted to avenge his sister and kill a murderer, and that he's a very effective and powerful jigsaw killer, and know the location of the bathroom and save him and they just go on a jigsaw spree to torture and kill ACTUAL bad criminals
I think it would be iconic to have Dr. Gordon come back and see him save both Amanda And Eric Matthews Son and having them be his help catching Hoffman. Also, I would like to see Detective Tapp, Eric Matthews, Riggs, & kerry be in the Saw 11. I think this would be epic and be great to see. Saw 12 should be the end of the franchise as hoffmans Demise.
They need to bring back Betsy Russell as Jill Tuck. She should provide an interesting conflict for the film, as Cecilia will likely target her due to being John's ex-wife as a part of her vendetta against Jigsaw, and her relationship with John could be explored further. Oh, and it needs to be set during the six month gap between Saw II and Saw III.
i definitely hope the entire movie is about cecilia working towards her redemption, like william easton did in saw 6. i also like the idea of cecilia actually surviving at the end, and being just so mangled that her living on is a worse fate than dying. or... amanda kills hers even though she did win the traps. lastly, i really hope the traps in saw 11 will not be grandiose and complicated. in my opinion, all the best traps are somewhat simple (except maybe the rack). like, i'd never be able to build them, but i could see a really inspired engineer could. bro, a fucking radiation trap? no thanks. cutting your leg with a gigli saw though? yes please more
i feel like instead of showing amanda in the saw x trailer they could’ve teased her w that one scene where she’s laughing in the background during gabriela’s pignap
What I would personally do with the bathroom scene is that Hoffman is freed by Jeff Denlon's daughter because he freed her in the past and she considers him her hero in her eyes.

Saw 11 has been officially announced earlier this year and will release September 2025!
I NEVER KNEW INSTALLMENT WAS SPELT WITH ONE L
Yeh it depends on which spellcheck you use hahaha
I need a film starring Detective Fisk please and thank you.
Can you make top 10 most gory moments in saw
Xavier Chavez in Saw XI 2025
I expect them to give Shawnee Smith a sexy hairstyle, in between the the bowl cut she has in Saw X and the long locks she has in Saw III
The cop plot does need to come back, wasn’t as exciting having the main game play out in Saw X without a real time clock or anything bc the cops have no idea and are irrelevant in Saw X
I'm gonna keep defending Spiral because it wasn't that bad
It wasn’t but I could’ve been better
Thank you! I thought I was the only one Defending Spiral
@@thisismydesign-horrorchann2641 I know right, people are acting like it's the worst movie they've ever seen
@@bilalrashad6636 yep! “Jigsaw” I can understand the hate. I can’t stand that movie..I wish it was never made. But spiral was decent. I would like a Sequel. Sometimes I think people just don’t like it because it’s so different from the originals in terms of the brand new Cast and all. I mean yes, the killer was predictable but almost everything else I really liked about it
@JohnKramerRules yes! Agreed
Dr Lawrence Gordon in Saw XI 2025
Bring back Chris Rock
If they bring back Amanda or Adam I’ll be done with the franchise again lol.
