  • They say that adding wheel spacers to your car could be a gift or a curse. It all comes down on how you properly install it, not just for looks but for safety as well. In this video, I show you how to properly install wheel spacers from Faction Fab. They really make a huge difference on how your car will look when it's sitting on the ground.

I don't know if this was asked before, if I have stock BBS wheels for the 2016 STI will the OEM studs protrude from the 20 mm spacer and hit the backside of the wheel during installation?

Howzit! If the spacers that you're purchasing are set for your STI then I'm pretty sure it'll clear the studs for your OEM wheels. The backside of the rims have those open portions where the studs should sit in and have enough clearance for it. IMO, I'm pretty sure your OEM wheels are okay to use with 20mm spacers.

Great video! Any problems with running spacers? Any alignment needed after install?

T Tamayo thanks! No problems running the spacers although you need to be careful not cross threading the studs. Replacement studs are hard to get for these spacers. No alignment needed.

Did you use the stock lug nuts??

I was using the stock lug nuts after I installed these up to the point until I got my Enkei wheels. I’m currently using aftermarket wheel locks.

@@SceneFifty do you think if I lower it like 1 finger fit with 20mm spacer it’s will rubbing? Thank you very for sweet answer I’m kinda new

@@benzmuatv895 you're welcome! it's a possibility that it may rub if you're still using your stock wheels. i'd recommend rolling your fenders if you use the 20mm spacers
