A couple tips from someone who made similar mistakes, you probably want to add antisieze to the part where the spacer comes in contact with the rotor to save your some future headaches, also you're supposed to torque your wheels to spec once the car is even, and on the ground. Torquing in the air will not properly torque the car, and is especially inconvenient since you need to grab someone else to hold your brakes for you.
good video! you might want to consider adding some anti seize to the backs of the spacers. overtime they'll stick to the rotors. when you get around to changing your pads and rotors it'll make removal easier.
Subiedreads Wilson i know, alot of people have told me. I didnt have a thin one but will be getting it soon. I havent ran the spacers for a bit with all the racing, but when i am ready to slap on, i will get that socket
Subiedreads Wilson the look great, they push the wheels out perfect and look flush. The AOS is not hard, its just very time consuming, alot of cutting and reading the instructions.
Hey man...I just wanna know...after installing the 20mm spacers, when you have a few extra people sitting in the back seat and you go over a slightly in-even road...does the tires touch the fenders?
Haider Al Obaidi so with my stock rims and tires it does not touch at all but with my motegi rims the rear will rub. I rolles the fenders in the back and it still runs but just a little bit.
Jason Flynn that I am not sure. It would be pushing it and you might have to roll the fender. Someone in one of the forums might have it installed. Check if you can find one with 25mm and check for any issues
Gonzalo San Miguel to be completely honest, i am not entirely sure. I believe it is the same bolt pattern. Check that your impreza is a 5x114 bolt pattern
ARomanRacing hey you have a Twitter? Pictures of my Subaru I'm doing a 2.5 swap on the bottom and right now it's a pretty sweet car if you do let me know also I love for you to review it
Thor Brown sadly I dont have twitter yet. I got my instagram if you have one. I need to get on my twitter game lol. And i would love to review some cars
Thor Brown i havent done a follow up, many questions asking about them, I have not had any issues what so ever so far, I will be taking them off next week before autocross
Liking the channel man. Exact color STI I am looking at. I was interested in the RCE yellows and came across your channel. Love what you are doing as it is the exact route I plan on going with mine. I am not sure if I missed it or not, but what exhaust are you running?
m3freak86 thanks for watching! I have a Nameless Performance axel back muffler delete. Soon I will be getting the midpipe to complete the cat back and hopefully is a little louder with more pops
Nice! Same plan as me haha. I had a nameless catback on my 13 WRX hatch. Both the 5" version as well as the delete. I had the resonated midpipe and it really gave it a good sound. I think you'll enjoy it with the midpipe.

these edits are getting fancy

I did think about it but just did not wanted to have all that mess in there.
Use a regular socket not a impact socket then it will fit the way it's supposed to
Does the wheel sit slightly different infront than the back with 20mm all around? Im debating on going with 15mm in front and 20mm in back.
Don’t, we have awd and that will mess up with the calibration.
Bruh should of used a thin wall 21mm it would of fit the right way

ARomanRacing I just bought these spacers how did you like the overall look? How hard was it to install your aos?
Subiedreads Wilson the look great, they push the wheels out perfect and look flush. The AOS is not hard, its just very time consuming, alot of cutting and reading the instructions.
ARomanRacing so it comes with pretty detail instructions? It just looks like a lot of tubes going everywhere
Subiedreads Wilson yeah, instructions will be on the IAG website and its 50 pages long, including a ton of pictures
Nice install they look nice
Thanks

ARomanRacing appreciate it man... Good luck with ur channel
Haider Al Obaidi thanks, i appreciate it
NICE!!!!!CONGRATS!!!!! Kool DIY!!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
would 25mm be okay for the WRX 17' rim and stock ride height without rubbing?
Jason Flynn that I am not sure. It would be pushing it and you might have to roll the fender. Someone in one of the forums might have it installed. Check if you can find one with 25mm and check for any issues
ARomanRacing ok thanks a lot, I'll check it out
ARomanRacing
Will these work for a basic 2015 impreza?
Gonzalo San Miguel to be completely honest, i am not entirely sure. I believe it is the same bolt pattern. Check that your impreza is a 5x114 bolt pattern
Only drawback is handling is not improved as nice as a set of rims and wider wheels but it is an option. Good video
2:23 👌 🙌 deez nuts!
Thor Brown hahahaha i was wondering, when was the day someone would actually catch that part lol
ARomanRacing hey you have a Twitter? Pictures of my Subaru I'm doing a 2.5 swap on the bottom and right now it's a pretty sweet car if you do let me know also I love for you to review it
ARomanRacing also if you haven't already done it you should do a follow-up video on the condition of the spacers I'm curious
Thor Brown sadly I dont have twitter yet. I got my instagram if you have one. I need to get on my twitter game lol. And i would love to review some cars

Did the spacers mess up the steering or is it the same
Alex Nunez spacers wont mess up your steering, I have heard some people have gotten like a slight vibration but mine feels perfectly normal
Lol it was was a lot easier for me to install my spacers, I had no issues at all
FloresRacing hey now, all I did was switch the lug nuts around and thats it. Plus with your tiny car, how many lug nuts does it need? 2 per tire? Lol
