the real villains are the IDIOTS actually paying 25 dollars for skins. here in Brazil, everytime we see a guy with a paid skin we make fun of them in the text chat
Cope with what?! EVERYONE that sees those skins laughs! I just get mad because i know the algorithm will give me a bad match and favor those losers@wavywalrus5427
What's even worse is that a lot of the stickers, emblems, calling cards, loading screens, etc. in the battle passes and bundles are AI generated. It should be illegal to sell AI generated content, or they should AT LEAST be required to disclose it
Yeah absolutely right. If we can't get all this stuff with the base game and earn these exclusive maps operators and their equipment while playing the original game we do not want it. We will call of duty players Love earning the stuff we want and we gamers love keeping the information we've earned and invested into. Please support our United idea and bring back the game that we love without taking our money and give us the opportunity to choose what we want to pay for.
Whenever I've played indie games, often they will have $2 dollar skins and cosmetics, maybe up to 5$. I have no problem spending that $5- to support a dev when I'm enjoying their game; however, I will never spend $25 on a COD cosmetic. It's egregious. I've already spent $70 for the game and immediately more purchases are being ran down my throat.
I didn't buy bo6, as I play it on game pass. I brought the kick some brass skin pack, which after getting all the free cod points from battlepass only came out at around £10. Which I dont mind, as I didn't pay £80 for the game. It'll likely be my only purchase, and I'm happy with that. As a community, if people aren't happy with the way things are they should show that with their wallets and stop spending. there's too many smooth brains that'll complain and still spend. Activision does have some sort of patent on getting people to spend more on micro transactions which I don't agree with and i feel is predatory, which I don't agree with but I only play zombies so can't really see it affecting me.
@@justanotherwaytodoit3796well that’s the problem there’s way too many brainwashed people that come back to cod every year even though they hate the game and still end up spending hundreds of $$
The funniest part about all of this is that blackcell is usually in the top selling dlc category when it comes out every season on steam. If people didn't buy this wouldn't exist anymore...
While a lot of the CoD community is guilty is buying blackcell, I like to blame content creators who normalize buying this stuff to their viewers. Not to mention the bundles that give you early access to weapons before the community completes an event (ex: the one racoon bundle along with the red Maelstrom bundle). Another point I have to make, I hate calling the CoD community a thing given how naturally toxic and divided everyone is. From skill based matching, to the prices of items, to AI literally replacing voice actors so people can get their yearly dose of slop, we can't agree on anything and that's why I hate considering ourselves a community when we wouldn't agree on world peace if it came down to us agreeing on it.
Riot games/Tencent are currently having this same issue with micro transactions becoming 200 to 500 dollars. You want that cool Jinx skin from Arcane? Pay hundreds of dollars! The more you let companies walk all over you, the more they realize they can get away with and take more money from people. It’s sad but we as the consumer allowed this to happen by not speaking with our wallets.
@ league of legends brought in GOOD OLLL LOOTBOXES YAYYYY :))) I love that I have to gamble for that Jinx skin! Oh but don’t worry, it’s guaranteed at 500 dollars USD!!! :)
Great video with impressive editing effort! However, I noticed a couple of things that could be improved: - The game audio feels muffled or distorted. - The pauses between sentences seem a bit too long.
Honestly, I don't care if they want to add this stuff as long as it doesn't start to affect the ability to access functional content. I think I've only ever bought one battle pass (which was the first one of MW2019), and since then have just used the cod points from the current pass to be able to get the next one. If people want to pay extra money to COD then so be it, it won't change the enjoyment I have of the game at all
All of this is optional you don’t have to purchase any of it. Back in the day to get the zombie maps that weren’t out at launch you have to pay $15 each normally 4 per game. Or $50 at the beginning of the year to get all 4
Im not disagreeing, but you should get the facts right. 2400 cp points is $17, which isn't a huge difference, but $10 bucks is $10 bucks. I'm still not defending the replacer scandal that was gross, and so is the ai taking jobs away from artists
Yeah, I def agreed. I was a victim of that replacer scam. I bought that bundle but couldn't unlock the battle pass variant, so I had to buy the battle pass and grind that it was bullshit. They could have at least put a disclaimer cause I had 0 idea
Honestly on Xbox the game is free. So $30 for a season pass upgrade that happens every quarter to get extra cosmetics and cod points that value more than $30 in normal packs is not to bad. $30 for a pack with one skin and maybe a blueprint or 2… now that’s stupid af. But the same price to get extra bonuses out of an entire season. I paid it likely will again, shits fun and the stuff is cool, just get a job mfs
It's funny to me, that the Blackcell skins are actually bad. Because they make it easier to spot you. Be it the brightly colored heads or all the flame particles that will reveal your position even when you're fully covered in a smoke grenade. But on the other hand, if you pay for skins, you will matched with worse opponents to dominate them, so they are also more likely to buy new skins. It's oblivious, so I just tend to not bother anymore. I will buy CoD from time to time, maybe on a deep sale, have some fun and move on, but it's nothing I would play all year round.
I already knew cod has gone to the dumpster but man, I decided to give this trash a chance. Free to play, 1.8 KD, enjoying it somewhat. Decided to buy Blackwell and a skin bundle. Not a single match where my KD is even 1. The last 30ish games, 0.6 or below every game. Deleted and requesting a refund. It's like the eomm decided, since I spent money, that now is the time to fuck me. Touche. Was reminded why I quit back in MW2 remake.
@ yes but it’s just skins, no gameplay locked behind it. Whereas 10 years ago you would’ve paid £60 for pre season 1 then £25 for every season after. It’s either a free battle pass with free gameplay but paid skins. Or like before where we had free skins but had to pay for gameplay
Not being facetious but I watched this twice trying to find the actual reason why this ruins call of duty. I understand the part of them being money hungry and all but you never explained how paying 30 bucks for a 10 bucks worth of coins and a few additional unlocks destroys the game. Who does it mess up the game for? I've gotten blackcell twice in mw2/3 because it included a blueprint I knew I'd use a lot. Did me doing so decrease the enjoyment of someone else? I don't see it being any different than someone buying a bundle that includes some coins and cosmetics becuase that's all it is on top of a normal battle pass, which is a one time 10 dollar purchase anyway. It's not even like it's some renewing contract where you get charged for blackcell each season. There's no difference between someone buying one bundle each season vs getting blackcell once a season.
My point really isn't even rationalizing blackcell, it's more of if you make a video about why something is, you should explain why instead of just the whats and hows.
For sure, but no one asked to see lame child like skins in a game designed for adults either. Since we cannot turn it off petty as I am. Be on my team with that shit I'm shooting. You or I'll get in your way in hopes you have a poor match.
I cant understand how u are always saying that you are forced to buy theses like HUH wtf. Also, the regular battlepass cost absolutely NOTHING. If u play CoD regularly u get enough (1100) cod-points, in the free Version, to buy it once, and then buy it again with the cod-points earnd in the last one. Due to cod-points carrying from CoD to CoD, you will never have to spend a penny again and are able to enjoy so many skins, and items for free. Black ops 4 had a battle pass, tho the system was different. And after mw2019 launched u could ern boxes for dlc weapons, that u need to get in a lot box before hand As for blackcell, it is a way for the game bring in more revenue, and does not add a pay to win (unless new guns are just way to overpowered). It optional and just for activision to get more money from people already spending to much. I just feel a bit, that way less effort are put into skins that are free or in the regular. But how cosmetic focused are you that u start to cry about it. I dont like micro transactions but it doesn't ruin the game.
Well many guns have been seen to have a pay to win aspect. Like the dtir payed version didn't have visual smoke blocking the ads. Problem is, they know how to "make" you want their skins. Even if you normally wouldn't buy them.
The dtir wasn't a meta weapon for long, and blueprints are banned in CDL. So such a slight miniscule, subject change isnt pay to win and way to exaggerated, in a public, non competitive setting.
It's just a cheap fortnite copy without any redeeming qualities or originality whilst still costing 80 to buy the game. Defending the game you're just an idiot or like to be pegged either way, it's insane
