I’ve been following this tail light combo for months hitting refresh to buy the UK model as soon as it’s in production! You lucky boy getting your hands on early!
You theoretically could. If you have a bike with that level of clearance between the rear wheel and the undertail, you could modify one of these undertail plate mounts to be a bit more angled towards the back and fit a 9x7 in there with a small reflector on there
@@tuukkasivonen4533 Having a quick look through DVLA advice, there's nothing that says it has to be anywhere more specific than the rear of the bike, so as long as it's visible and of a legal size, should be groovy. You can get smaller paltes which are legal, like cutdown plates, which will help with space. I think the point about the number plate being on the ugly stock hanger is part of Euro commission, not UK law
@Ewan Bradley it's really dependent on the MOT place yu go to. A lot will be strict about shit, but some will just want to see the bike being safe rather than fully legal
Man, you are soooo lucky to have gotten these. I literally just contacted them on Thursday in regards to ordering a set of these. I have been watching the site for months waiting for the release, but they told me it wouldn't be until Mid-Summer at earliest before release. Very disappointing. I currently have the JL Design Tail Setup but have not installed it yet due to the fact you have to drill into the corner section to mount the lights. Congrats on scoring a pair of these. I think I will just leave the stock one on for now and suck up the look until Mid-Summer.
@@TSTindustries Sounds great. I have decided to hold off on my current setup to wait for a release of your product. Nothing against the JL Design ones as I think they look awesome as well, I just do not want to drill a hole in my fairings if I don't have too. So for now stuck with the fender on her. Looking forward to the release. I just purchased your tail tidy over the weekend as well.
Ok please hear me out ALL riders. I need input. I’m new to this and want your opinion.🙏 First off this may not be the best video to put it on because it is almost an installation/ review video however I think I may be able to draw a lot of the enthusiast crowd who might be better talking to about this situation since they are willing to watch a detailed video like this. I am 21 years older, I have always had a passion and interest for bikes and watching videos of vloggers. I have never rode before but I feel almost desperate to, with everything going on “covid” and stay at home orders it really has gotten me pondering the thought of potentially taking up lessons and learning. I’ve been home bound for so long and watching these videos emotionally has cause me each and everyday to grow a love and urge for wanting to ride. Before I really dive into this some details about me. I’m 21 years old, I am married and currently a father to a 1 year old baby boy 😌. I support my family mostly and currently a student while my wife works part time and takes care mostly of our kid while I’m gone. I was so lucky to grow up in a family where I do not have to worry “financially” if my son or wife would ever be ok due to inheritance and supportive family. Not that this all matters, however I want to provide this information because I want to prove in some sense and explain how serious I am about this to some extent, since I do not know anyone here personally. I only know 1 person in my family that has rode street bikes, however I currently do not have a close relationship with them atm so it’s hard for me to get any answers to me questions. I understand the dangers of riding, I understand that no matter how safe I am, there is a “ALWAYS” a possibility of someone else being irresponsible and reckless on the road which could have a huge impact to my safety. I want to be a “good father” and husband, and I don’t want to ever put my family in a place where I was “irresponsible” and caused a tragic situation to happen. For that the answer may be then just not to ride. However I also don’t want to live my life taking precautions and not living out things I want to do. I want it to be balanced as though I do have responsibilities as well. But looking back on things I “wish” I did would kill me inside emotionally years down the road. What options do I even have? Should I consider starting to learn to ride safely with instructions to get first hand experience before I dive into it? Should I not consider it at all due to heavy risks that could impact loved ones in my life? Should I consider only riding part time and not full time as this may lower chances of anything happening? How often do mistakes actually occur and if so, should I consider that I also could die in a car accident as well as just going about my everyday life? I’m so lost and confused atm and need someone with more life experience to hear me out and to give me some suggestions as I desperately need them. Death isn’t something I want to talk about, but I have to be realistic as I know this place a huge part. I had a buddy who is 20 and rode for about 2 years recklessly and got into a bad accident where his riding partner was dismembered because he was going 150+. He had to see the whole thing happen and it’s been about 2 years and he himself doesn’t know if he will ever touch another bike. I texted him the other day and he wouldn’t even talk to me about a bike because of the experiences he had and knowing my situation. Please provide some of your own personal opinions if I should even consider this. Looking for people who have been riding for a while and or 3+ years. Also awesome vid! Love your stuff
ALOT OF STATES HAVE LAWS WHERE THE REAR BLINKERS HAVE TO BE SO MANY INCHES APART TO BE LEGAL. IN ALL HONESTY I'VE BEEN IN PACKS MANY TIMES WHERE I KNOW WE ARE TURNING BUT 90% of the bikes in front of me you can't tell which BLINKER is actually blinking. With our blinkers being red in the rear and not amber doesn't help either. Awesome vid man! This will be my 3rd eliminator for this bike lol
About time you went with the Best, TST Industries. They just dropped some crazy nice looking integrated side lights for the Kawasaki Ninjas. Looks super slick and getting some for my Zx6r and Ninja 300.
I got a set of these prototype lights as well and I love them! I've had them on the bike for a few weeks now and there is no better option. IMO I actually went with the high mount for the plate though.
I would have loved if they were light a straight LED bar. Like the new M3 tails would be sick if they could make it an L but even a straight line would look super cool Edit: looks like JL designs makes it that way!! Double edit: nvm they require drilling and cutting the oem plugs
Definitely one of the top 2 out now. Diggin the low plate. Just not really feeling the Circle lights I feel they should’ve went with a thin solid light bar instead but still look good nonetheless.👍🏾
If you had to keep one What would u choose Bmw or Yamaha Because i am a potential buyer and the bmw is not available for test riding and i have heard that the RR is much more refined as a ride Edit: anyone please suggest
Good install video, the only thing I don’t like about TSTs new tail light is there logo molded into the plastic it’s such an eye sore, it disrupts the s1000rr clean lines. These lights are so distinct you don’t need to advertise it hard, you know who makes it, TST needs to put their logo on the inside! lol
We thought the same with our Ducati 848/1098/1198 tail light until we saw cheap imitations being sold! Now, we feel the need to have our logo showing to know it's an authentic piece.
Amazing video as usual !!! Do you have info about the 2022 Yamaha r7? HP, Weight, Price, etc........ Do you plan to get one. Your opinion is important. Thanks
Europe requires Yellow turn signals for cars or motorcycles. Europe also requires the yellow car indicators on side of car or rear view mirror. USA manufacturers save a few pennies by using brake lights red color also as turn signals which means less wiring and less lights. A burned out red tail light or other problems can cause problems in an emergency especially at night. Yellow, in Europe means caution turning or caution as hazard lights. Any reds, in Europe, means stopping, no confusion. Tesla and a few others have separate yellow turn signals. TST should be that way also especially on a motorcycle
I'm thinking about using the TST license plate bracket & license plate light with the Futuris Moto tail lights. I think the Futuris Moto tail light looks so much better but I like the location of the TST license plate bracket better than the Futuris Moto license plate bracket location.
the low plate mount looks great but not crazy about the lights do you know if they have an option to mount the low plate and reuse the factory lights ? mark
Did you switch to the TST unit because the Futurismoto unit was giving you the brake light error code? (Note over a year later they still have NOT fixed this issue). I really hope the number plate size in Indonesia is that small. Because now in Indonesia the number plate size for a motorcycle was too damn huge compare to texas's number plate size
I wish I could trust the companies you're advertising, cause futurismoto kept me hanging for months and eventually I cancelled my order. Not sure about this though, anyways great video 👍
Still a fan of FuturisMoto version personally. But to be honest no fender eliminator kit for the S 1000RR has ever really impressed me. But I mostly blame BMW for the way they built the tail and fender.

TST should use the 3 LEDs in each side to perform in a sequence for the purpose of indicating. Like in an Mustang. Instead of flashing them all at once, multiple times.
That's one of the cleanest tail tucks I have seen on any bike

Depends on the cop in the states.
I love this setup.. looks really good! The black part of the lights doesn’t look that bad next to the carbon.. it looks decent.
Finally! A solution for the stock fender and rear tail lights! Looks amazing!
I always discount any aftermarket part that reduces with visibility or brake, signals, etc. won’t compromise on safety no matter how cool it is.
