- In this video I get my 1999 GMC C3500 rollback REALLY STUCK. Then I blow up my transmission. Then I drag out my 2021 RAM 3500 and yank this dang thing right out of it's grave. We also use the stinger to walk the truck as far out as we can.

This flatbed carrier is a definite must have for your business, replace with a new strong transmission_ this truck is a keeper, you never know when it may be needed.
I have the '99 Chevy C3500HD, 454, 183.5" wheelbase...It is heavy and I have gotten it stuck (sunk it) too. It was a job getting it out also. The front wheels were the biggest issue.
That could gone real bad for the Gmc tow truck Randy when almost swap in the mud glad u & Greg ur new friend has Chevy Citation now . I remember my father had 84 Monte Gbody & transmission went out bad on freeway too same thing pull dipstick up trans fluid black dirt.@ least tow truck was on ur property to have problem

Hey Randy,, You might want to consider picking up a Yankum Rope to use for your occasional towing needs, along with a couple of Yankum shackles,, Using a chain is a good way to destroy running gear or bumpers and / or injuring someone when something breaks loose,,
That truck here in Canada is worth a good buck,i can only dream of owning the truck
Randy Randy what did you do to the poor tow truck I am from Canada and watch your UA-cam channel all the time I'm a really big fan and I can't believe you broke the tow truck oh well stuff happens man but if I were you I would rebuild it it's still useful especially for what you do for a living God bless you man sometimes you just make my day I'm in a wheelchair I don't get out much so I sit on my computer and I watch UA-cam videos you always make it interesting keep up the good work and no matter what anybody tells you you're a great person
I promise you Mortske repairs is a big enough UA-cam to buy that rollback and probably knows a dealer or 6 to transfer through
Nothing that a few wheelbarrows of topsoil wont fix after its dried out. Btw around here we call that a tilt & load truck.

You should get a Yankum Tow Rope. Kinda like a bungy cord, great for pulling stuck vehicles out!

There’s no way it would’ve done anything except popping willies. It was only 2 Wheel Dr. and nowhere near big enough to pull this thing out.
We'll not sure what happened to the transmission but I did tell youtuber Mortske Repair you had flatbed you might want to sell. He doesn't mind fix stuff up if you can get a deal done.

Don't worry about the yard. It's not Beverly Hills. Just fill in the holes and trenches and let the greens grow back over. It will be fine. But if you plan on parking out front in future, why not put in some gravel or concrete paver strips?

When a transmission sarts to go bad, reverse is the first gear you lose.
A 4X4 diesel is worth its weight in gold just like in this instance where it yanked that heavier 1 ton up on the road with relative ease. Not good on the tires, but you could have let it dig a couple of more seconds and got them warm enough pull it up on the road without ever having to back up and bump it. However, snow and/or mud is a diesel pickup’s kryptonite. Lol.

I would love to have the jeep but here in Houston I'll have to find a dealer or whole sealer to bid for me and I'd have to pay them on top of what it sells for.
Randy you should try TransX transmission treatment. One time I had no reverse but drives good forward and I tried TransX transmission treatment and man that cleared it up after 30mins of driving! Got reverse back and the transmission shifts like brand new

Had u parked ur ram sideways,used flatbeds winch,you cud been out ,trans not shot..plus stinger wud lift rear duals and u place bunch under em to get it out.

PTO stands for power take off, and it operates the stinger and the winch.

you can jack up the back and put pray wood under it and gravel under the front wheels it sure come out that way
If that house is not going to be lived in I would either redo the front yard with either gravel or concrete. It will save you a lot of trouble in the future.
I'd have the trans rebuilt amd fix the little stuff and then use it to haul vehicles you get from auction
