I have the cheaper version of that saw. I really like it for marking logs before cutting into rounds. Nice to see you back at it Tom👍👍

Thanks! Yes, I bought the cheaper version of a different brand saw for my wife last year. This one is definitely better in regards to safety and comfort features. I may tape the safety button in the “on” position. It’s definitely worth the money. I hope that you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving! God Bless!

I'll be receiving a 6 inch electric saw in a few days. It will be interesting to see how that cuts.

Good to see you Tom. Nice job on reviewing this product. I find that the battery saws are getting better and better.

Hey Darrin, I hope that you and your family had a great Thanksgiving! I’m shocked that companies are sending me products to review! I agree, the battery saws are getting better and better. I use the EGO more than the gas saws. In addition, its the only chainsaw my wife will let me use alone in the woods. I also like to be able to hear the tree, when cutting it down. You can’t always hear it crack, when using a gas saw.

@@AdventuresAtHome1 I have a product review coming up later in the week. I hope I can do it the justice that you have this saw! I agree with you on hearing the tree. I have gotten some UA-cam safety experts telling me to that I should wear hearing protection at all times. When I am cutting on a dangerous tree, I prefer to hear what that tree is doing over a few minutes of hearing protection.

@@woodruffwoods I'm sure that you will do a great product review! I just cut a tall American Beach and it fell back on the back cut. I heard it crack and pulled the saw. I minute later it cracked again and fell back on the back cut (the wind blew it back). Anyway, I cut a little more in the wedge cut and it came down 90 degrees from the planned landing spot. I'm no Buckin' Billy! Anyway, hearing it crack, could be a life-saver.

@@AdventuresAtHome1 I have become a big fan of using a wedge in almost every situation. It makes it so much easier to control the fall. Buy name brand wedges like Oregon as they last much longer.
