My only thoughts are that, each enemy ship thought someone else was going to target Angry_Blades and they didn't want to waste time turning the guns and launching a broadside at him.
What's even better is seeing just how difficult that sub made his game, and yet he finished nearly bottom of the team. Doesn't matter what you do in subs/cv if you want a ship to die, you can do it.
The thing with the subs... Actually, subs couldn't see ships on the surface except at periscope depth, which risked their own detection. What should be happening in the game is that sonar pings should reveal the location of enemy ships, so the sub can fire NON-HOMING torpedoes. That is, the sub would fire a ping in a direction, and it would briefly reveal ships within a radius around the ping as it travels. The sub could then target and fire torpedoes. Of course, they would be able to target without pings when using the periscope.
this sounds very interesting - the only problem i can see with this is sending a bunch of pings into a smoke screen to spot dds early, though that can be solved with long ping cooldowns
Subs should really be used more as spotters and scouts not attack vehicles mechanically. They would be better at spotting at the trade off having weak guns and only torps to fight with a few historical exceptions such as the French Surcouf class submarines which were designed as gunboats and has cruiser guns.
@@snailboi6902 My thinking was that sending a ping would increase the sub's detection radius for a few seconds. That way, if they ping a lot, they risk being spotted.
I think the biggest problem with subs is that they are too good at "down the throat" attacks. Unlike for any other unseen enemy with torpedoes, going nose in is not the play because the sub will launch a bunch of homing torps down your throat.
I just realized the "Curse of the Arty Party" never went away... it migrated to World of Warships. An Explanation of an Arty Party: If you're a World of Tanks player; Imagine if HALF of the players of both teams were just artillery with access to AP shells. If you're a World of Warships player; Imagine if HALF of the players of both teams consisted of Aircraft carriers.
To be fair, at least arty mostly die in one shot whenever you find them and with a couple of exceptions have shit camo values and need to break stationary camo to re-orient their gun. Aircraft carriers don't just get the ability to see all parts of the map and see tracers and breakables, they literally spot for themselves. Carriers are like if artillery had spotting jeeps they could deploy and run around the map with (which is how artillery actually worked, they had forward scouts relay coordinates they blindly fired upon).
On the subject of team size and submarines, be thankful you can have 12 per side, on console it’s 9 per side. You can still get 4 DDs per team, plus a carrier, subs haven’t been introduced yet but it will happen. If they cap submarines at 2 per team, with 4 DDs and a CV that leaves 2 empty slots for cruisers or battleships…
Those chat whiners must be fans of Hudson, in AlienS. "Well, that's great. That's just fuckin' great, man! Now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now, man!"

I was in awe, witnessing how the infernal ship seemed to sink into its own mist..." ANR-0980-2 SCP-ES-096
Submarines, just like carriers, is a ship class made for griefers. It's just that subs are made for the potatoes that are too incompetent to succeed as carriers, so they need constant buffs so the battles are nice and one-sided. that's why you don't get counter-play.
Maybe the enemy sub begged his teammates for the honor of the kill. They said, "sure, whatever" and shifted their concentration to other targets figuring they had this game in the bag anyway.
@@ShiningDarknes From the chat it looked like the sub missed the Caracciolo, when he had the broadside New Mexico to torp, which would have been a much easier target.
Absolutely hilarious! XD This reminds me of the time I was beat down to literally 2 hp, 2 points, in my Cleveland right after the tier change. I swear I was rolling on my floor laughing because I hid behind my team and soaked up, on 2 hp, about 4 or 5 targeted strikes from the enemy CV, barely dodging each rocket plane and dive bomb attack, I eventually did go down, but I just grinned ear to ear knowing I alone took at least a third of the match away from the enemy CV XD
One day I spammed a 1HP enemy Cleveland that I couldn't hit so my team would sink it, NOBODY fired at him and he survived the battle... and my team lost. (at that point we were the same numbers of ships in each team) Enemy tunnel visionning is your ally. Here the enemy Caracciolo tought that the Roma had its duel in the bag and focused on something else. The other two BBs, might have not wanted to lose time turning the guns and make it behing the island instead.
Why would a team let someone get the kill even on the verge of a kraken not a single person has ever let another player take the kill that they asked for if anything the change fire to the selected ship
There was one particular time, when I was playing at something like 4am est, where matchmaking decided in it's benevolence to match my Weser up against a Ryujo. It turned into one massive carrier duel lol
"Why nobody is shooting at him", you ask? In Germany, we have a proverb (from soccer) that explains this: "You take him. I got him 100%" He is such an easy victim with 371 life left... EVERYBODY thinks, he is not worth the effort. someone else will finish him... or their secondaries will. Its a common occurence in games :D :D
My experience does indicate that I can safely take my side's DDs smoking up first before the enemy as a sign that my corner of the map is gonna lose the ensuing gunfight.
Like many players the introduction of submarines and the changes to aircraft carriers, two types that are virtually invulnerable to battleships and cruisers unless they are really unlucky, were the main reasons I’ve almost given up playing this game, I found that these changes sucked most of the fun out of the game.
They both have torpedoes ? Cmon Jingles :)) i don't see any torpedoes tubes on the Caracciolo :)) still funny listening to you and the seriosity you have said it ! :))
Hello again. You once ran a replay of a battle of mine in a Tier V Konig. I had a similar experience in that game. I had 8 kills, and only 28K of potential damage. Read that last sentence again. Virtually their entire team ignored the ship that was killing off two third of their ships. That's the main reason I uploaded that replay. I'm not that good. But, if you don't shoot at the mediocre player, he's going to get your attention . . . or not.

Hope you have time to review the ‘’new’’ economy that dropped on us Wednesday !
Lovely to hear color commentary from Lady Hjusie, subbing for Akizuki. Ginger cats are great.
🐈👑✌️🖖
Feeling down on my bday, I guess this is 2 decades. Thank you Jingles
Love the Douglas Adams reference, keep up the great work.
Oh Jingles.... Four Yorkshiremen is one of my fave Monty Python skits 🦊💞
I just realized the "Curse of the Arty Party" never went away...
it migrated to World of Warships.
An Explanation of an Arty Party:
If you're a World of Tanks player; Imagine if HALF of the players of both teams were just artillery with access to AP shells.
If you're a World of Warships player; Imagine if HALF of the players of both teams consisted of Aircraft carriers.
Good comparison. I nearly forgot about the old school arty with AP shells. I think I contracted a few diseases just from remembering that nightmare
@@DiquerMax Unless they changed it again recently, I think they gave arty their AP shells back months ago.
Well Arty was getting screwed ever since they got rid of AP and more recently nerfed HE.
@@ShiningDarknes They should have after the HE nerf. Without AP that nerf made artillery useless.
15:13 Jingles channeling Douglas Adams... love it.
Like always , dear jingles, a lovely Video. Thank you.
Just one thing though: Gneisenau is a great Ship
Official sources state this is untrue
@@Hahlen Link to the Sources please 🤣

Amusingly, I just watched your 2019? video of Flambass doing his thing on this map before seeing this one.
8:45
And thats why my main battle mode is ranked.
No supershits, no subs and airrats are very rare
Those chat whiners must be fans of Hudson, in AlienS.
"Well, that's great. That's just fuckin' great, man! Now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now, man!"
Honey, wake up, Jingles vid dropped
So long and thanks for all the fish....great hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy reference.
To be fair Jingles, the Amagi Captain's handle says it all, as to the why he was mewling so...
...I mean he broadcasts complaint with a name like Dagg Nabbit.
No?
😂
Carraciolo has torpedoes? You learn something new everyday :)
"...every bite of the mistship missed on its way to the Dragon, while every shot of ours hit it. Every time I remember it, I am more convinced that it was the will of the captain, deflecting the enemy's cannon fire and bringing the shots from his ship to a safe port. I was in awe, witnessing how the infernal ship seemed to sink into its own mist..."

Naw it looks like they were yelling at him to attack the other ships. There was a bit about him apparently missing something point-blank.
@@ShiningDarknes From the chat it looked like the sub missed the Caracciolo, when he had the broadside New Mexico to torp, which would have been a much easier target.
"8 guns, 2 more than the Gneisenau"
Did a double take there, was thinking of the one that had 9
Literally just after I emailed jingles with a 3600 base xp game, I see this posted. I'm having a fun night for sure.
dont worry my friend, we've all been there.
@@jupiter-qu3zl nah, I knew he wasn't going to see it before this came out. I literally sent it 15 minutes before this was posted.
Absolutely hilarious! XD
This reminds me of the time I was beat down to literally 2 hp, 2 points, in my Cleveland right after the tier change.
Loved this one. Thanks Sir
If that enemy Bayern had a secondary build (around 8.3km range) he could've killed the protagonist of today's video.
I don’t watch as much as I once did, but when I do, it’s mingles with jingles!
Paul, every time you're wishing everyone to have a good one I click like. It's the little things.
That secondaries from the enemy FC... this is the example of USELESS secondaries... not even a 300hp hit... :D
Thanks Jingles! Nice one!
when you have no pen on them, all you can hope for is a fire
An extreme thunderstorm and one power outage later, I can finally watch this is peace
He should have use the torps on the Roma! 🤣
Love you Jingles 😆
One day I spammed a 1HP enemy Cleveland that I couldn't hit so my team would sink it, NOBODY fired at him and he survived the battle... and my team lost. (at that point we were the same numbers of ships in each team)
Enemy tunnel visionning is your ally.
Here the enemy Caracciolo tought that the Roma had its duel in the bag and focused on something else. The other two BBs, might have not wanted to lose time turning the guns and make it behing the island instead.
I think the sub asked for the kill and they let him, thinking that it could easily do it.
Or at least this way it would make sense.
Why would a team let someone get the kill even on the verge of a kraken not a single person has ever let another player take the kill that they asked for if anything the change fire to the selected ship
@@captain61games49 I have seen that SEVERAL times already, both in videos by Jingles AND in games i myself played.
There was one particular time, when I was playing at something like 4am est, where matchmaking decided in it's benevolence to match my Weser up against a Ryujo. It turned into one massive carrier duel lol
his health bar was so low that he doesn't appear on screen.
That is the most tunnel visioned enemy team ever lol. It's like they have space telescopes for binoculars.
They were all to busy reading Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and waiting approval to turn their guns, from them Vogons.
The enemy team was probably looking at health bars when looking for targets, and because his health bar was non-existent, he went by unnoticed.
"So long, and thanks for all the fish"- haha. Hitchhikers guide.
Well, jingles. don't forget where your towel is.
My experience does indicate that I can safely take my side's DDs smoking up first before the enemy as a sign that my corner of the map is gonna lose the ensuing gunfight.
The reverse psychology from that Amagi. It’s very much like what I say in a WoT match: “another loss. Prove me wrong”
Chief Dan George " I didn't see us in my dream about the massacre." " Were invisible!" The walks out to the tee pee and gets away with Dustin Hoffman.
Nothing like my morning coffee with Jingles.
Episode 234 of kicking Gneisenau by Jongles
Like many players the introduction of submarines and the changes to aircraft carriers, two types that are virtually invulnerable to battleships and cruisers unless they are really unlucky, were the main reasons I’ve almost given up playing this game, I found that these changes sucked most of the fun out of the game.
the sad thing Wargaming *KNEW* subs were a bad idea but some idiot in management said put them in anyway
They both have torpedoes ? Cmon Jingles :)) i don't see any torpedoes tubes on the Caracciolo :)) still funny listening to you and the seriosity you have said it ! :))
I don't care about stats, or win/loss. The mission objective is the only thing that matters. I know if I am going to be sunk, I will try for a ram.
But, if you don't shoot at the mediocre player, he's going to get your attention . . . or not.
He activated the, 5 minute long, 'someone else's problem' consumable
I like just reading the chat sometimes, very entertaining.
I like how gameplay videos from WoWs on all channels moved from 'this guy plays good' to 'this guy plays bad' :-D
my thoughts on the title: Divine Intervention
nice. A Jingles and SLAYER collaboration vid. But wheres my metal?!
There is an episode of Married with Children in which Al tells his buddies about a Bundy family curse. It is said that if a Bundy ever admits he/she has good luck, everything goes south. Maybe the case here?
At 15:57, JINGLES! GET A GRIP!!! The Somebody Else's Problem field generator came on - didn't you see it?
Well, to quote The Might Jingles in reference to the KV-2, "Benito Mussolini reached up from the depths of hell and hid him from the other players because he had sacrificed enough prisoners."
This is an exceptional example of a squadron of tunnel-visioned warships and probably ignored communicationg.
Hey Jingles, just in case you decide to sell merch, pls do one with "yes Gneisenau, we're looking at you."😂😂😂😂😂
That sub captain has to be yelling in chat at his team by now
I'm jealous on the amount of luck this dude have
Jingles, I watch you for 6 years or so but I can't remember ever heard Juicy in a video before. Also according to my stats I performed the best in the Nagato as non-prem T7 BB, although that is approx. 4 years ago. Now I've no clue any more, just watch vids.
GG jingles, I miss the old days of seeing you and quicky baby 👶 playing. It's been a long time ⌛️. Take care, Mike
Shame WG removed the torps from my Caracciolo.
Bystander effect. Everyone assumes someone else is going to do the thing needed to be done.
The flex seal kept the battleship alive!
Can jingles not see the island between the ships?
both have torpedos! .... wheres the torpedoes on this ship? am i blin .. oh right its jingles :P
Big Daddy Jingles, I must confess that I too sometimes pull an Amagi driver. It’s always the games in my Missouri when I have maxed out economic boosts running that the mighty hand of RNJesus reaches down and bitch slaps me. Every game like it, I’ll catch a cruiser at 10km that’s sailing flat broadside to my 9 16” guns, I’ll fire, and I’ll get a single overpen. Meanwhile, he’s taken half my health. It just gets frustrating.
Poor gamer cat was so tired she had to have one of her roomies sub in for while she slept.
bro...the gneisnau isba dopebshipbwith the hull upgrade....i love that ship
Repair teams go out with long-handled brooms and scrub the sonar residue off the hull to remove the ping, obviously. 😉
" You lived in a cardboard box ?? " ....... " LUXURY " ........
Sinop and Prinz Heinrich are incredibly good tier 7 battleships
F. Carraciolo is also incredibly good because of the AP penetration. Bad Tier 10 Guns make Amazing T7 guns.
