I was there last year though so not too long ago lol, but still. I am even more excited now that I've got all of you sharing the experience with me

Memories. I flew out of Belgium too. I don't remember if they checked my face, but I do know they never asked for my Covid document. 😱 I hope you show a lot of outdoor shots as you drive around the communities. If they let you visit and video tape the schools, that would be great too. Enjoy your stay! 😊😊😊

That's not a problem when the agent make Spellings mistake on the ticket because it's once happened to ma dad too when we were flying from Malmö Sweden to the mother land Gambia.
Yeaaaah omg I was so scared they would say something lol!
But they didn't thank God.
I hope your Dad also made it without problems
@@africandiaries yeah uno at first he went back to the agent and show them the mistake and they told him that it's not a big deal that's why he didn't bother about it. But alhamdoulah that your husband or you guys made it in peace ✌ without any problem trough out the journey. How is or was the Gambian our mother land?

Where do you go to extend your days, I stayed over my time, and didn't realize it. They just passed me through. Actually the worker paid me through
Well it's the immigration you have to visit and get a stamp if you want to stay longer than permitted 😄
The worker stated that, and said he would pay, whatever he did, he stamped my passport
Thank God. Because my account was shut down, I had a matter with my bank, that had to be cleared when I got home to LA. And it was cleared and I had only $25 usa with me. But God intervened

I go to Gambia every year or every other year - I've got family there as well.

Thank you for your comment. I would love to make a video like that in the future. There is an organisation called Japaleh Jigueen that I am a member of - they donate materials to the maternal wards around The Gambia. I could get you in contact with them if interested

How do you travel, with a walker or a cane is there provisions when making a flight
Do you mean assistance from the airline company? I'm sure they have those options
Do you have any tips on navigating the airport once at banjul? What would make it easier especially with small kids
Well it's not hard to locate the airport, and it's not actually in Banjul. The location is Yundum 😁 I'm sure you can be directed to the airport depending on where you're coming from

Thanks again! There is no need to do a new Covid test. The one you travel with is valid for 72 hours - from the time they send the test for analysing
