If you just press the winch remote control for 3-5 seconds without connecting to the winch it can be controlled wireless.

Warn had that wireless controller issue. So they didn’t include a wireless one in the box. They put in a wired. :( They have a claim process which I filed and have been waiting for months for the new wireless one
