UTV Winch Rope Splice || Wich Rope Loop Using a FID [UTV OVERLANDING]

Last year we swapped our winch cable out for a synthetic rope, and we picked up another winch rope to use as an extension, in case we don't have a close by anchor point when we get stuck. However, our winch rope only came with a loop in one end!
So I picked up a FID (FAST FID) from Amazon and gave it a try. Easy to do! I think I'll make some new dock lines for our boat too!

Super awesome tutorial!! I have 4500# winch, bubba rope recovery system bag in tote, knock on wood have never had to use yet....definitely adding the winch rope repair kit you showed to my arsenal....thanks so much taking the time to share....
