It says nowhere to use 20ml in 1l witth a foam gun 🥴 it's for use in a foam sprayer. Don't understand UA-camrs. No! He didn't follow the instructions...
For foam gun use 50-100ml in 1l water according to Koch chemie. Alle depends on your pressure washer, water quality, foam gun..... USA likes tick foam that stays 1min on panel. Europeans like milky foam that sticks longer. All depends to personal preferences.
So gentle snow foam doesnt foam as much as mr pink per say but it works significantly better than mr pink. If you want a product that works exactly like gentle snow foam, use gt tecnic G wash, that will give you 3 times the amount of foam gsf 5 x gave you and with the same results.
I have the same foam cannon, and I use the KC active foam, at a 1:10 ratio and it’s great. You should definitely try their protector wax through the MJJC.
The dilution on the Gif bottle is way too runny. 20ml=2/3 oz. You need to run a 1:10 dilution ratio for adequate foam. You did 1:9 and that seemed to work a lot better.
With a different brand but equivalent ph neutral product, this is exactly how I do my weekly/fortnightly wash. Anytime the car is genuinely dirty I use Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Wish I had your garage setup. Cheers
In the USA, we don’t have many choices of Bilt Hamburg products. Sometimes you can find it on Amazon but it’s very rare. I love my garage too, I’ve added some stuff since the filming of this video as well. 😉
@@kcam2308I do not. My garage has a small slope so most of everything runs out. Anything that’s left over I use a squeegee to push out and the residual I use to mop my floors actually. Never waste the product! 😂
I'd recommend upgrading your pressure washer. I suggest Big Boi, Active, Kranzle, Ava. Something with a bit more wattage and water flow. Or you could change the orifice of your current snow foam cannon. This would also produce better foam. I use GSF with MTM snow foam cannon & MJJC V2 snow foam cannon, as per the instructions - the foam is thick. You run the risk of damaging/etching your paint by using such high concentrations. Definitely wouldn't advise straying so far from manufacturer instructions when using anything more acidic or alkaline (i.e. active foam). It's a beautiful car, better to air on the side of caution. I used to over concentrate these products in the snow foam cannon using lower powered washers, ended up damaging my paint and having to get the paint polished/corrected. So speaking from experience.
GSF is close to PH neutral, won’t hurt anything no matter the dilution ratio. I use both those foam cannons, and I have the smaller orifices in them. I don’t do it professionally and the pressure washer I use meets all recommendations for my foam cannons. I don’t use anything far away from PH neutral as my cars don’t really get all that dirty. However, I have been considering picking up some active foam to use to test it out for myself.
@WheelswithMarty I would double check with kcx. Some chemicals state the ph in the bottle and some state the ph once diluted. Certified detailers have warned me not to stray too far from manufacturers recommendations due to the above. Matt from Obsessed Garage also covers the topic in one of his blogs. Not to say that you're wrong, just to confirm with the manufacturers. I know there is a limit for even ph neutral soaps. Either way, it's totally up to you as its your car. My experience has made me a bit cautious. AF is really good, kcx states on their gsf bottle that you could add (I think 30ml) of Green Star to GSF to make Active Foam. Don't hold me to that, I vaguely remember reading it on the instructions and it being mentioned in one of their interviews. I like to use AF as a prewash and then GSF as a snow foam for the contact wash for extra lubrication, with GSF in the bucket as well. My car is coated and the above really brings the coating back to life. Their spray on, rinse off protector wax is really nice as well (Koch Chemie PW). I highly recommend you giving them a try. I also like using Bilt Hamber Touchless as I live in harsher climates and at times need something with a bit more kick. Kcx AF is ph 9.5 & BH Touchless is ph 12. Either way, having used them both I'd happily recommend them. Please don't take any of my comments the wrong way, just one car enthusiast reaching out to another. As I said earlier, it's a beautiful car 🙂.
@@tj1470yea, you can add GS to it but I have never really had a need for anything harsher. GSF is my go to shampoo as is. I really want to grab some AF and also, the nano one they have seems good too and want to give it a try.
it says 20ml in a foam sprayer. In a foam gun connected to a pressure washer the mix is diluted approx. 1:10 so you need to use 10 times as much (maybe 5)
The recommended method is to use 20ml per 1,000 as a pre-wash leave for 5 mins to soak into dirt etc, rinse off then repeat dilution ratio and spray again then wash and rinse. It seems the extra foam by increasing it 5 times may look good but in actual fact is completely superfluous and a waste of money.
You emptied that whole foam cannon!! what the heck, either you pressure washer is not putting out enough gpm or you just have the ratio to weak. I use GSF all the time and use half a foam cannon or less and do an entire truck. thick foam all the time. I also have a Kranzle 1122..maybe that the difference. Also a tip from someone who has tinnitus..wear some hearing protection when using your blower!! please!
If it’s my first use, I empty the cannon. Once I get my dilution figured that best suits my conditions, then I’ll use about half the cannon as a pre wash to let it soak, rinse then recoat the car with the rest of the mixture. My blower is very quiet, sounds loud on camera but it’s quiet.
The obsession of bubbles confounds me. I understand that foam gives you a visible indicator of the presence of soap but is a waste of product. The cleaning solution is what lubricants, entraps dirt, pulls it down off the car. Foam doesn’t do anything. It sits above the surface.
I used 100ml instead of 20ml. Not even close to half. This is a very big bottle. I use this as my main shampoo now in my arsenal. I typically use about 50ml in my foam cannon now. It truly is amazing stuff. 😊
I find I get better foam with 50 mL per liter or a little more even. Spraying it dry works better. I do foam, rinse, foam, then contact.

Active foam is next on my list for sure
I’m addicted to Protector Wax. Lmfao. I’ve ran out of family vehicles so I’m itching for my truck’s next wash on Sunday. 😂😂

@@kcam2308yea that helps to push the water out as well as the mopping part for cleaning the floor. 💪

Yea I use that mixture some

Hmmm I’ll try that next and see what I think about it
Anything ph neutral is useless as a pre wash, complete waste of time and product.

Correct, I use roughly a 30-50ml amount of GSF and I have my mix turned down a tad. I can pre-rinse and re-spray for contact wash with one fill.
