Hi, Man. I noticed you used the Snowfoam MJJC Foam Cannon version 2. If your pressure washer is domestic with pressure up to 1700 psi, I suggest you replace the 1.25mm internal nozzle orifice with 1.1mm. This will improve the foam quality of all shampoos. I say this from my own experience. I have a Karcher K3 turbo auto washer. I made this modification and it turned out much better! Thanks for sharing the video. Waston Ribeiro - Brazil

Hey Waston, yeah that’s a good idea and thanks for the shout. Had done this on a previous cannon which improved it drastically but I think this was just a matter of dilution so I’ve since been getting super foamy foam!

Enjoyed the video. Used GSF for the first time the other week and was impressed. Used as directed, same foam cannon as you and warm water, and the foam was nice and thick. It really clung to the paintwork and showed really good cleaning qualities for a ph neutral foam. My new favourite.

Yeah I've managed to get better foam now but for the amount you have to use its just too expensive as I wash cars so regularly

@@gregoryjsealey - More foam isn't better. A lather that sticks to the paint is what we're looking for.
I mainly use Nerta 64 and Labcosmetica Neve.
The GSF is on the menu.
      Anyway, thanks for the review.
      Cheers.

There something seriously wrong here, 100ml of GSF and 900ml of water should create a nice thick foam. In fact, Kcx only recommends 20ml a d 980 ml of water and that gives much more foam than what you got. Either you have extremely hard water and/or your foam cannon/pressure washer is shit.

    • @gregoryjsealey

They don't actually...the 20ml dosage you're reading is for bucket washing

I agree i use about 20-50ml and i get an awesome foam, i don't know what happened here 🤣 And for reference i sometimes use it with a cheap Amazon Foam Cannon 🤣🤣🤣

not a big fan of that drying blade (can Marr your paint ) just stick with your blower imo

    • @gregoryjsealey
      @gregoryjsealey  2 роки тому

I agree but in reality it doesn’t make a difference. If you wash your car properly then you’re more likely to get scratches from the great British weather than that blade

@@gregoryjsealey I use the leather & Alcantara clean on my seats the finish is spot on. Because a taxi the leather can get very Shiny which indicates dirty leather. I’ve just purchased their shampoo which I’m still yet to use and I’ve got there all purpose cleaner which to me just feels like any other all-purpose cleaner I’ve also got the heavy cut compound that I need to get a lambs wool cotton pad I will let you know how I get on.

I assume you’re taking about Pol Star? Po is the best interior cleaner I’ve used by a long way. The APC Green Star you’re right is like any other APC but I find it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling behind when you use it on interior stuff like some other APCs do. The shampoo Gsf is great as a foamy PH neutral safe shampoo but I use their Super Foam for better cleaning (although you can only buy it in 10L)

GSF is great but you need a ton of product. I find 500ml water and 100ml GSF works best. I rather do 500ml water and 50ml Carpro Reset. More cost effective and incredibly slick.

Thanks for the idea. I actually use a few different Koch Chemie soaps which are great but they only come in the massive 10l containers which is annoying

I use 20ml in 1l, as directed on the bottle, and it cleans quite well. I tried more as some do and noticed no difference in its ability to clean, only that it created more foam. However, I get much more foam than shown in this video (active 2.0, mjjc v2 with 1.25 orifice, knob set to -). For a car this dirty, I might use a stronger prewash depending on the coating

That was not good foam, I have seen much better foam were people used just 20ml.
I noticed that your pressure washer has low water flow rate, it's under 10L/min that is usually recommended for good foam.
