Been doing a lot of research on detailing as I'm in the process of a garage makeover and adding a detailing station for home DIY use. Chemicals are like tools, pick a brand and run with it. I have chosen KOCHCHEMIE because of their wide selection of products.
Nice video. People are sleeping on Pol Star. It also works on fabric, I use it to spot treat headliners and seats. Also, when you run out of protector wax try out their newest sealant S0.03 lasts a couple months from what I’ve seen.
PS was mainly intended for fabrics, leather and alcantara. Plastic cleaning is a nice off label perk that works great. Don't put too much money on the protection side of it. For that you have TS (top star) that is damn good at hydrating and protecting the interior plastics. If you can I suggest using PW on darker cars and S0.03 on lighter cars. PW brings out the darker colors and S0.03 makes the lighter cars shine better. Both last a reasonable time for spray on and rinse products. I had daily drivers sealed with PW returning after 2 months that still sheeted water like crazy after a GSF wash.
This is one of the best no bullshrimp videos I’ve ever watched. I really enjoyed your style of presentation and content! Im a P&S user thats been contemplating the same changes you’ve made. Btw, i was based in Charlotte when i flew for American Airlines. Now retired and detailing in Northern California sierras Ps. I wont be going to the PW though, i charge quite a bit more than most & want to offer a product with better longevity such as Defender Also i hear plastic star is better on exterior plastics than TG due to its ability to spread better at lower usage
KC is one of those few brands that you could use only their products and get great results every time. I'm also a big fan of Protector Wax and Pol Star. (Pol Star also has antistatic properties, so keeps your dash etc free from dust for longer)
I love KC products as well. Undrdog has a new interior cleaner that is my go too now with all natural essential oils but light . Smells amazing and suds like crazy leaving protection as well. Their soap is also great. I’ve only tried KCs bufffing and polishing line
Appreciate you taking the time out of your day to give to put us on this stuff. I wasn't on the KC wheel cleaner but added it to my line up. Gonna try that snow foam as a pre-wash too 💯
Hey Boss, just happened to stumble across this video. I recently started implementing a prewash or pre soak. My go to is P&S Absolute then foam, rinse, foam then go into the contact wash. Great video Boss man!
All chemicals are not created equal. I am a Koch Chemie fan. Been using their products for a while. I mix in some P&S, Gyeon, and Carpro products as well. KC definitely is my go to for quite a few tasks but I’m really liking the Gyeon Interior Detailer. Great video and keep it up!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching and same to you! I’m really liking the KCX products I to use Carpro and p&s for some task. I think carpro dark side is hands down one of the best tire shine
@D.B.K.mobiledetailing I used to run my detailing business in the Shaughnessy Vancouver, but recently moved to Beausoleil so my wife can closer to her family, I now use Fortador Pro max equipment and solutions , but Bilthamber is amazing product , I would always use touchless as a prewash ad it just melts the dirt off the vehicle, and for my bucket was I recommend the koch chemie nano magic shampoo, as a up sell Bilthamber touch on as it gives a hydrophobic protection. But as a up sale I would offer glass polish using Labocosmetica vitreo and a glass cutting pads on the rupes mini.
Give Dark Fury by Superior Products a try for your wheel and tire cleaner. Its alkaline so no real risk of damage to rims if it sits for a bit. You can order it through oreilly for like $25 for a gallon, or from their website for about $17 a gallon. It dilutes 4:1, and is honest to god a contactless wheel cleaner. Used it on a friends car that they've had since 2013 without ever getting a detail on their tires outside of the bs roll through washes give. She had grime all through the inner wheel, and all through the face and crevices. I heard others say its basically contactless so i just let it sit for 1 minute (just covered each wheel and rinsed them in the same order right after) and with my pressure washer with a 35 degree nozzle it was cleaner than the day she bought it minus some minor agitation on the studs. If you want something similar (honestly i think its the same formula/lab that made it) grab sudslab zero acid wheel cleaner from walmart at 16 bucks for 32oz can be diluted 4:1 or used straight and use it to see if its a product you can rock with. Better performance and cheaper than KC and brake buster.
Thanks for watching bro🫡 I think I will. give them a try heard a lot of pppl talking about dark fury. I also use suds lad tire applicator and scrub pads from Walmart as well very inexpensive and last a while too!
I love kochchemie because all of their products are great. Most other companies have their bad products and good products but with kochchemie no matter what you’re getting you know it’ll give you professional results.

@@DETAILSofficial I've been thinking about picking up superfoam as well, probably for a winter pre-wash or something since that product must fairly powerful. Any notable differences between Af and Sf or just a bit more cleaning power?
i’m getting into superior but we’ll see how they are on maintenance cars
