Hey 🙌🏼 I've eaten my words after seeing Batman Arkham videos and the interviews with Ryan Payton and his teams Passion. Before the previews I largely dismissed it as opposed to being mad but damn these guys have shown the arkham universe more respect than Rocksteady did with their recent outing. This game is getting hate because of Rocksteady's recent failure to deliver to a fanbase that waited for almost a decade but the hate in this game is unwarranted. All this comes from someone who was very dismissive but this is the first VR game I've ever enjoyed watching (I don't have the money for VR). This game is a welcome addition to the arkham universe
I looked down at myself a literally teared up and had the biggest smile on my face. The fact that you can see your whole body, the arms, shoulders, legs, feet and when you walk irl i noticed he does a little step.
@@doobiemann that's not what i meant bruh🙄 i meant how it is a game that meets and even surpasses the quality of the og 4 games . Just having arkham in the name is not enough . if we count those than games like arkham city lockdown and arkham origins blackgate would also count
@@blacknoir606 ok maybe that one counts, but what i mean is that just being named "Arkham" simply isn't enough , Arkham is a title that has to be EARNED .
Day 8 of asking : Clownpuncher, I know this would take a long long time , but I would love to see a video where you rank every single combat or predator section based on level of difficulty
Officer Balls Meme aside I love that Boles being a Tyger guard is now cannon and the theory of Boles being a triple agent for Hugo during Asylum is VERY possible now (Oh and Matches going from a shout out in Origins to what he is now is nice)
@@Ancor_Vantianit was theorized that Boles was one of the people hypnotized by Strange and that him letting Joker loose was a long game plan by Strange to help bring out Arkham City. Now that Boles was canonically a member of Tyger, there is a high chance that actually could have happened
I can't believe this game included Matches fucking Malone, I remember watching the batman brave and the bold episode when Bats used that alias, so seeing him use it in an arkham game is so fucking cool
I find it interesting that you once said you’d never play this game unless the studio gave you a VR headset for free, now whenever anyone complains that they have to pay $430 to play a batman game you say you’re “sick of hearing about it”, I get you’re sick of hearing it now that you have your own free headset but it still sucks man.
@@Whamcast19 Because when the game was first revealed, I had no hopes for it. However, when gameplay was revealed and I played the demo, I immediately changed my tune. If I didn’t get the game or system for free, I would have happily purchased both because of how amazing it was. If the game was bad, I’d still be saying the same thing.
@@oofiethetroll2059 I actually did not, if it were possible I’d share a screenshot but the price of the bundle that includes the headset with 128 GB and Batman Arkham shadow but that’s just how much it costs, it’s a two second google search.
The problem isnt that this game is a VR. The problem is it is Meta Quest exclusive. You would be saying the same if those dudes didnt give you a free Meta Quest. Edit: You guys are repeating the same things against me.Please read the other replies before saying something. Please and thank you.
@@KuzeyAkkaya-sb2nkI don't understand why that's such a big problem, meta is a business at the end of the day, and they need system sellers. While yeah, it does kind of suck, wanting every VR property to release everywhere is a bit unrealistic, to be honest
At least it is a good product. I couldn't play SSKTJL but I still don't like it because as a fan of the Arkham franchise, I prioritize the game being good and making justice to the franchise over being able to actually play it. A great game I cannot play is better than a Terrible game I CAN play. Specifically when it's tied to such a beloved series like the Arkham game's. After SSKTJL fumble, it is a relief that Arkham Shadow is actually good.
I knew from the minute I heard Roger Craig Smith back as Batman that this game was going be something even if it wasn't great. He is one of the few people who aren't trying to be Kevin in the role and something about his performance always just felt right to me, only other case being John DiMaggio as the Joker.
I'm one of the lucky ones who got his hands on a Quest 3 to play this game, and Arkham Shadow came with it too! And I have to say, the $500 I had was 100% was worth it. This game made me feel emotions that I haven't felt ever since I first played Batman Arkham Asylum. Needless to say, *this* is the reason to buy a VR headset, and since the Quest 3s is coming out that will give more people access the game for a cheaper price, which I hope will allow more people to try this game out!
@@toututu2993 Honestly, the battery life holds it waay back. Especially when using Mixed Reality where you only have a single hour if you only play Mixed Reality content, which really sucks, but nothing a spare battery pack can't fix. IF I HAD ONE!
Wish I had the money for a VR right now, watching BatmanArkhamVideo's gameplay of it. So far from what I've seen it is fantastic. The world and the character building is incredible. We're finally seeing key Batman characters like Leslie Thompkins who adds a layer to the emotion that we haven't seen in this universe's Batman yet which carries the plot. More of Barbara Gordon whose first scene with Batman was incredibly wholesome, and of course his relationship with Harvey Dent. There are the things that I would expect to see in a Batman graphic novel or a movie, not an Arkham game, and I love it.
All these comments hating on vr cuz you tried it once round your cousins house 8 years ago and got sick lol. The Quest 3 is dope and its growing community is a whole vibe!
Honestly, I didn’t expect to care about the story at all. I expected it to be decent, but nothing memorable. But it just gets better and better and better and BOOM! That ending was just perfection.
I just finished this game and my god it was amazing. The ending was absolutely shocking and everything started clicking in my mind as it was about to be revealed. All the subtle hints here and there were perfect. Enough to pick up on whats happening, but without outright telling you what it is. I can absolutely appreciate it. Edit: Most of my game was fine. But I had SO MANY CRASHES near the end of the game. Like I would be in for 2 minutes, then it would crash. Besides that. My game ran fine.
I didn’t get the game because of vr but i watched the whole game and honestly it’s a fantastic game with a masterpiece of a story with so much added lore and characters they made the game with so much care this is how games should be made this game is Incredible
1:32 on one hand I agree with some of the original criticism that it's VR only but it's what prompted me to finally get VR. I just finished the game 100% today and loved every moment of it. Part of the reason it works so well is BECAUSE it's VR.
My god this comment section is something else. I don’t think I’ve read more than 7 comments actually talking about the video. Meanwhile, almost every single one is talking about the very thing I said NOT TO TALK ABOUT! Maybe if you listened to what I actually had to say, instead of just assuming the worst from people, you’d understand why I called this game what I did.
I'm sorry that we're not speaking of what you so wish. How unfortunate! What amuses me even more so is that you expected the rampant comments talking about the VR exclusivity (1:46), yet now you're deciding to whine about it. You knew this would happen. And I'm still waiting for you to respond to my previous response.

I love that this game is great! Makes it easier to recommend my friends to buy a headset of their own when it comes with this gem. From there i can convince them to buy breachers, ghosts of tabor, Contractors. What a time for VR!
I really love how this game looks and im super interested on who the rat king is. Ive always loved the arkham series ever since i was a kid playing it with my dad. You have shown me so much more about the games than i could learn on my own. I love your videos and sorry about the spelling and grammer😅
I didn't think I would ever watch a review that's almost an hour long but I did. Good job! As for Batman being the 2024 VR GOTY? Probably, but Behemoth is right around the corner and it honestly looks breathtaking. VR gaming doesn't end with Batman, that $300/$500 headset purchase is just like any other console purchase: There are and will be plenty of games to play.
Burst out laughing seeing Harley and woody popping in to existence like that. I’ve only experienced something like that once in my gameplay. I walk In to a what i thought was an empty room, but suddenly guards just popped out of nowhere and beat the hell out of me like. I’m sorry I thought this was where the bathroom was.
34:15 its why you should have said for people who never played VR that looking in flat screen =/= the same that being in VR, only non VR user would argue about the graphism they don't have a clue to understand what its look like inside a headset
Biggest problem isnt it being VR, its being Meta Quest only and facebook needed to even play this game I'm hooked and would play it, if it was released for anything else
You dont need a facebook account. New Spiderman games are only on PS5 as well (coming later to pc though). Nothing special. Its your choice, if you dont have any desire to becoming batman yourself in a videogame, just dont. All fine.
I’ve been saying for months that we should be happy to just get more Arkham even if I don’t play VR. And I’m so glad I was right! The game looks so good!
I understand, but it's never going to happen. This was built from the ground up to be a system seller for Meta. There is zero incentive for them to port an exclusive title they funded to a competing platform. It's like saying 'I wish Sony would port God of War to Xbox.'
Psvr is not supported anymore and lacks competent vr controllers. As for psvr2, it has failed and sony isnt even supporting it themselves, not even porting old psvr1 games to it. Very unlikely meta will consider it worthwhile when sony themselfs dont
You know, after playing this game, I do in fact want to see more of the this game and what Camouflaj can do While they did say that New Game + is gonna be in the future I believe, I do hope that we can get some DLC Story content within Gotham. Some ideas I had could be that one could involve Bolton's full transformation into Lock-Up, a DLC story based around Batman: The Long Halloween and show much of his Rouge's Gallery becoming full fledge villains, and the last one could be about Batman and Robin. Honestly, if we have DLC like this, I will 100% be buying to play again. This game was just so much fun.
Having seen the full game (don't own a meta quest three) but I have to agree with you the reveal of the rat king was actually decently surprising and made a ton of sense given the context of the story
A PCVR port would be amazing, but I highly doubt that is ever going to happen. This game already looks amazing on a quest 3, I can't imagine how good they could get it to look on PC.
Meta owns the studio. They funded it not to sell games but to bring people into VR. That's why they're literally giving the game away. And that strategy is valid. So many people tried some version of VR 2016-2020 and realized it didn't meet expectations. Say what you want about Meta, but they've invested BILLIONS into making VR better. It's now ready for the masses and they need ways to entice people to give it a second shot. Arkham Shadow serves that purpose well. I'd also note they're not ripping anyone off. The 3S is sold at (or below cost) and they're giving away tons of stuff just to get you to try it out. Look, whether some gamers realize it or not, this is their first "boomer" moment - - VR is the future and folks need to get on board or get out of the way. Oh, this game will absolutely be upgraded to better graphics as new generations of Quest hit the market. They will milk this game for all it's worth to keep gamers happy. I've got nearly 500 hours in Asgard's Wrath 2 and each month for nearly a year they've released new updates and quests. Quest firmware is updated monthly (now on v. 70 or 71) with awesome, meaningful improvements rolled out constantly. Don't dismiss this important revolution in gaming and computing - this is an era people will look back on for decades, just like the 90s era when PCs and consoles revolutionized our lives. Don't be a boomer and be left behind.
Just because it VR game doesn't mean it should just be meta exclusive. It should be playable in with every VR system not just meta. This exclusive is dumb because console exclusive are starting to die. That a good thing.
@@TheDreamchaser2016 It doesn't have to be that way. Look what the PC did to the game exclusive in modern day. It shows that doing exclusives is bad and that you make way more money by having multiple platforms. PC People aren't going pay 500 dollars for worst console for one game.
Shout at the moon all you want, but as long as Meta is the only company willing to foot the bill to make games like this, they're going to be exclusive to their platform. No one was even thinking about a VR Arkham game until Meta and Camouflaj approached WB about making one. If anything, people should be cheering this on to succeed so that AAA devs will pay attention and be incentivized to create VR versions of their IPs on their own that can be released across platforms without companies like Meta needing to step in and fund development.
I will say that while the combat looks really good for the most part and I’m glad that they didn’t use the easy option of making the enemies physics based ragdolls like B&S and the Boneworks games (physics based combat barely works and isn’t good for a structured campaign). In terms of the predator sections, they sound like a good system in my opinion, since Asylum is one of the two best uses of predator due to how aware they are, and the more limited options means you’re less overpowered. Knight only worked in comparison to City and Origins because of the adaptation of the militia. I will say that I’m a little worried that the game looks like it automatically jumps to enemies. I can probably see why it’s done, and there’s still good uses of movement from what I’ve seen (like the blade dodge you mentioned), but I feel like the auto jumping may take away from the movement and immersion that VR naturally has. In terms of the game being VR, I do agree with you in terms of it being VR in general, and I think the fanbase was overreacting about that, but I completely understand the aggravation of it being exclusive to the quest in particular, and it does have me concerned about the VR industry only having these kind of games by Metas digression is a problem.
26:30 I kind of wish you added a 5 second countdown for that spoiler alert because I didn’t want that spoiler but I didn’t have time to react. I know you said “I may say things that are not public knowledge that some would consider a spoiler” but in my mind I thought you meant like what places you’ll go to and what villains you’ll see. That kinda was straight up a spoiler with a quick spoiler alert. Which I wouldn’t really have a problem with if you didn’t put “(spoiler-free review)” in the title of the video. Maybe you should have put “(*mostly* spoiler-free review)” because it does in fact have some small spoilers. And it wouldn’t have been a big spoiler if: (spoiler alert past this sentence) The game didn’t pretend the cell mate was the ventriloquist by having him be a ventriloquist who made woody, leaving you wonder who the guy with the glasses is. Until that reveal which I didn’t get to yet. The rest of the video is very good and well structured and edited though! I have watched your videos for years and I have really enjoyed your channel and videos for years and you have always had good quality vids!
Wait so Blackgate is canon? Since there are characters from Blackgate... However, Solomon Grundy appears in Blackgate yet Batman isn't supposed to meet him till Arkham City
Spoiler: 27:05 I remain a little surprised/disappointed that they did not introduce the Scarecrow sequence with Woody. There is a puppet famous for being questionably animate right in front of you as you begin a fear-based hallucination. Seems like a huge missed opportunity inside a minor tweak
I didn't mind it being a VR exclusive game from the start. Shadows is a VR game about Batman. Not a Batman game that became a VR title. My problem lies elsewhere. I was looking forward to the game, I bought a meta and started playing the game. The game itself is great! I agree with most of what you said. The problem: after about half an hour I had to stop or I would have thrown up. I just can't physically handle VR and I know of many who feel the same way. Then you have the people who simply can't or won't afford a new console because of a single game. VR is a very small niche in gaming, mainly for these reasons. Even if you don't count the people who simply don't give the game a chance; the likelihood of you being in one of the two groups who can't play the game either for health reasons or for money is high. No matter how much the people who actually play it praise and recommend it. I hope the game gets the love and recognition it deserves and I'll keep playing it (in lots of little half hour sessions and always feeling dizzy - which really leaves a bad taste), but I understand the people who are upset about the exclusivity. Especially those who are Arkham fans and then belong to the groups mentioned above ... but to everyone who can actually play and enjoy it without feeling sick, I hope you have a great time with this great game!
@@DarkMarimo You forgot one reason. Space. Even if I had the money to buy the console I wouldn't be able to use it. My apartment is just too smallBut yes, the dizziness is a problem for me too. I once tried VR with a friend who had a VR console. I realized it after the first 20 minutes and said nope it's not worth it. No matter how cool the game is. The thing is my friend won't play batman arkham shadow either because his headset is for Playstation and he doesn't want to buy a new one just for that one game. So for me money, space and dizziness are three solid reasons why I will never play this (certainly great) game myself and stick to lets plays. Not the same but for me the more enjoyable experience.
@@Vincent-no8sl That's right, you also need space. A lot of space. I moved the table in the living room in order to play it. No space in my room either... As for me, I already know that I'll play the game exactly once - just to experience it for myself - and then never touch it again. Watching Lets Plays sounds like the more enjoyable option in this case, yes. As a fan of the Arkham series, it's a dilemma. The game is great, but I can't really enjoy playing it. Not to its full potential. Not like the other games. It's a bit like when you have a favorite book. You read it again and again, love it, and know many others love it too. Only to find out that the next part only comes out in Latin... Fine for the few people who know the language, but most people run it through the translator once just to know what happens and then they're done with it. Not the same experience, but it's the best they can do. I can actually think of a negative point that wasn't even mentioned in the video! (Simply because Clownpuncher plays it in English and probably didn't even realize it). But if you don't know English, you're screwed. The game only has English dub. All other languages are just subtitles. (So as far as dialogs etc. are concerned.) All the other games had different dub options. Not Shadow. The English dub is great, but ... well. To have the option to switch would have been nice. Maybe that option will come later with a update, but that will certainly put off many players who don't speak English or would simply prefer their native language. Yes, there are people like that too. And honestly, sometimes it is hard to read the subtitels or listen to a second language while you are busy punching people or solving riddles ... on top of feeling sick.
1. VR motion sickness is totally normal for newcomers. It does away over time. Google „VR legs“ for help how to handle it. I got sick the first few weeks with Vr in 2016 as well, never got sick again the following years. 2. it’s literally the cheapest modern gaming system with the 3s. Not just the purchase but also ongoing costs (like no paid online). Suicide squad was more inaccessible. Edit: And 3. Space. Yes Vr does need some space. The quest is most accessible here because it doesn’t require you to play wired/close to a pc or console, so you are free to go and play wherever space is available with no issues. Theoretically you could even play outside. All the previous arkham games required a TV. Know what, not EVERYBODY had a tv (or space for a tv) either at that time. In the end there is no need to explain yourself. Nobody expected or forces you to have fun. If you dont want to have an awesome time actually becoming batman yourself, just dont. Its all fine. From the 8 billion people on earth only a very small % will play any game. Nothing wrong with that, people have different hobbies.
You actually don't need a lot of space for this one. I was able to play in my room, and my plays pace is so small it only allows me to make a stationary spot, so I have to include my bed when I draw it manually. Haha. I usually use my bed as a reference point and keep my legs touching it as I rotate. So I probably could have played on the stationary playspace too. As for motion sickness, a lot of newer vr gamers don't know, but it can be beat/overcome. It's called getting your vr legs. But you have t start as early as you can. You don't want your brain forming incorrect connections. Like vr = protect ourselves. Then you're sick. It's recommended that the moment you feel annnny of the effects of motion sickness, you take a break. You cannot push through it. It will only get worse and last longer. But you can roll it back if you stop early. I have loads of tips, so tag me if you need some. My gf went from getting violently I'll about 8 minutes into Arizona sunshine, to regularly doing 5-6 hour sessions with no signs of feeling Ill. If she played more, she'd probably have full resistance at this point. It's a hurdle that isn't there for most flat screen gamers. But it's totally worth training up for if you have passion in the medium.
@@SeageSpeaks Oh, I hadn't even noticed the stationary function before! I'll definitely have to try that next time! And thanks for the tip. Having to struggle through it is not good in the long run. And it reduces the fun of the game enormously. I've also noticed that the breaks I need are getting longer and longer. But I only play for a week, so it should not be too late by now. But now that means I have to take a break every 5 minutes. I will be done with the Game in a year or so. xD Unfortunately, I can imagine that this alone will put many people off. It's too much time and effort. You really have to want to do it to pull it off. Which is a lot to ask for an entertainment console. Anyway, thanks a lot!
Hey man I know plenty of people that went "aRkHam ShAdOw WiLl Be ThE wOrSt GaMe In ExIsTeNcE" I was even one of those people. They need this so that they actually listen and don't just click off
@@ClownPuncher139 The fact that you see nothing wrong with berating your audience in the introduction to your video tells me everything I need to know about you. Still waiting for that rebuttal to my main argument, but I suspect it will never be coming.
As someone who has been in VR since 2016, I'm glad this is on Quest. Corded game play sucks, especially for active gaming. And a $300 3S is a LOT cheaper than buying an RTX 4080 GPU. I chased PC specs throughout the 90s while ignoring consoles. I missed every single great game on PS, Sega, and Nintendo by constantly upgrading my video card, sound card, modem, etc. Quest is awesome and inexpensive and delivers a great experience. I still have a high-end gaming PC but I absolutely prefer gaming on Quest.
@@MrCa2pac dude, I've had Virtual Desktop on both Steam and Quest 1 and use it daily. I retired my Vive when I got Q1 and Virtual Desktop because how well it performs. That's one of the main reasons I love Quest - it doesn't lock me into standalone. When I got my first headset in 2016 I had a GTX 960 and had to upgrade to a GTX 1080 quickly. Then crypto made GPU prices soar and then Nvidia decided to just jack up prices to F with gamers. I finally broke down and got a new RTX 4070 rig last year. I don't know about you, but PCVR being a slave to high-end GPUs isn't cheap in 2024. That's another reason why Quest is a solid choice for VR. Not many people are able to buy an X080 or X090 card each generation. I don't begrudge anyone who wants to spend thousands on high-end GPUs to play VR, but I'm happy Quest had provided a different option.
@@DKStanford people Still playing on a cord? Lol, just get Virtual Desktop. The inbuilt Quest Link is also phenomenal. I used to reminisce about how clunky the PSVR 1 era was lmao.
They would have to fully remake all the combat and then add batman animations, make new mechanics (vr can climb on some walls and use explosive gel in that climb state), it would be more likely that someone would make a mod for city or knight that does the story with some modifications

My problem with the vr stuff is less that it’s vr and more that it’s 1. A quest exclusive and 2. It’s more specifically a meta quest 3 exclusive. So if you have a vr headset that’s not specifically a mega quest 3 you can’t play. People were able to get this working on quest pros and even quests 2s so they’re really limiting their audience by only having the newest quest be able to play the game officially
This game looks fantastic, but why is it a META QUEST 3 exclusive!? The reason people are mad is not because it is only for VR, you misunderstood this. It was because it was only for Meta Quest 3. I guess consoles need their exclusives but as a life long Arkham fan, this hurts. I love your content and you are my favorite Arkham youtuber but you need to understand MOST people are only mad that it's Meta Quest only, some may be mad abiut it being VR which there I agree with what you said.
Its simple really it’s because meta paid for the game to be made why would they put it on other vr headsets when it can be use to sell their own hardware just doesnt make sense from a business perspective🤷🏾♂️
Finally beat the game and watched the full video, and this is an amazing review. This is 100% the Arkham Asylum of VR; I also desperately hope we get a sequel, which they can just add more to the gameplay. My only complaint is that I ran into 1 game-breaking glitch that made me have to turn off my headset and restart, but when I did it was completely fixed. I also had to restart the level I was playing a few times, but those bugs will get fixed asap. I would give this game 10/10 as well. I just wanted more, and I can’t think of anything it did wrong that would take away from it. I think with time it might drop to a 9/10, but honestly, I don’t see that happening. I love this game and definitely will replay it with the rest of the Arkham series. If you don’t know what to get for Christmas this year buy a meta 3 and PLAY THIS GAME. All this comes from someone who was very dismissive but this is the first VR game I've ever enjoyed watching (I don't have the money for VR).
This game is a welcome addition to the arkham universe
A shame that the Meta Quest can only be bought in 21 countries. That further decreases the already low chances people can have to try this out.

@@TheDreamchaser2016 It doesn't have to be that way. Look what the PC did to the game exclusive in modern day.

The fact that Elijah Wood, Frodo Baggins himself plays Jonathan Crane aka Scarecrow in this game.
I didn't know about that.

Edit:
And 3.
I will be done with the Game in a year or so. xD
Unfortunately, I can imagine that this alone will put many people off. It's too much time and effort. You really have to want to do it to pull it off. Which is a lot to ask for an entertainment console.
Anyway, thanks a lot!

tbh, the original Arkham game was the GOAT for me. This game equals or even surpasses it.
If only it was not exclusive only for Meta. It would nice to see it on multiple devices. Just like the other Batman VR game.
@@Boxingblocks9778 hell Arkham Vr isn't even on quest
The reason it’s exclusive on the Quest 3 is because the game can’t run on old hardware.
I am just happy this game exists at all.
Game is epic but just imagine if we had this on pcvr without the quest 3 graphics 🤯
@@DKStanford have you heard of virtual desktop lol? I play wireless pcvr all the time 🤣
@@DKStanford It's also a nice option for someone like me who has a VR headset, but not a meta quest three
@@MrCa2pac dude, I've had Virtual Desktop on both Steam and Quest 1 and use it daily.
The only reason i wont play this game (and trust me i want too) is that im not buying a whole meta quest just to play one game on it
They need to remaster Arkham Origins
My dad is currently saving money to get my family a BR Headset so hopefully it’s soon cause I WANT THIS GAME!!!
Genuinely curious if anyone can answer, is it possible if it being a vr exclusive can be ported and worked into a traditional Arkham game? 😅
They would have to fully remake all the combat and then add batman animations, make new mechanics (vr can climb on some walls and use explosive gel in that climb state), it would be more likely that someone would make a mod for city or knight that does the story with some modifications
@@Placeholder93 yeah, I figured as much 😔 😅
Thx 🙏
Not without making an entirely different game from scratch. Like Clownpuncher said in the VR Rant segment, this game was made for VR and only VR
@@brovideogaming9447 yeah true, hopefully the same team can make a full on game one day
@@TheSsjJoker
They already did. It's called Batman Arkham Shadow.
21:21 Did anyone else got the feeling that this screen really looked like the countdown to the birthday party in FNaF 4? XD
I'm playing it, it's absolutely amazing, what an incredibile game. ❤
i've been playing arkham shadow non stop since tuesday i'm on chapter 3 i wanna say and this game is amazing a great sequel campohlige needs to stick around and hopefully does a city like sequel that improves on every element plus roger craig smith kills it i truly hope they stick around and make another arkham game.
This comment section is pure comedy gold at this point. From hypocrits, haters, whining on both sides and more.
yep
The reason it’s exclusive on the Quest 3 is because the game can’t run on old hardware.
@@Zypemaytro true... still doesn't make me happy though
Now I wish I had a meta! THIS GAME HAS OFFICER BALLS!!!!!
All I can say is THANK YOU, CAMOUFLAGE STUDIOS!!!
I cant stop saying "I'm batman" and any quotes I can think of from any batman movie/series while playing this. 🤣
Too bad 90% of people will not be able to play it.
30% that don't want to save or finance it. Or unwilling.
Hey Christmas is soon maybe people can buy it then.
Thats totally normal. There are 8 billion people in this world. Only 7 million were able to play arkham knight. Thats only 0,0875%.
@@SaoGalaxVr I am saving my money to buy things I want, but there is no reason for me to buy meta Oculus headset. It's insanely expensive. It is really a lot of money where I live. It's the third of an average monthly pay.
@@vaclavmarek4101 not sure if it's sold locally for you but you don't have to buy it up front here the payments can be split up . Far as I know the quest line is the cheapest way to get current VR . From quest 2 on up.
Great review of this such awesome gem that VR naysayers will miss out
But you need to spend a damn fortune to play it
330 dollars is not a fortune
This game is fantastic i bought it yesterday im sooooo soooo happy how it turned out normally vr games arent as good as the flat screened games this in my opinion is better
Dude this game is awesome. I'm not even that upset about it being exclusive to the quest 3 anymore. The way this game captures the exact same vibe from the original four games into vr so perfectly is amazing. To quote homelander: "It was perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details. Perfect." I don't care what anyone says. This game belongs on the pedestal with the other four games. It truly is another proper arkham game.
while i am waiting to pick this game up at least for a bit i am very happy to see that this games seems to be so much better than everybody thought it would be very similar to asylum i hope they keep going cant wait to see what the arkham citys equivalent is like
43:38 *JESUS CHRIST STOP HE'S ALREADY DEAD*
HE MUST FEEL THE HAMMERS OF JUSTICE
Remembering that feeling of disappointment when the first trailer was shown genuinely makes me feel shame. The game is so good
I have seen everything about Arkham shadow and i would give a fortune to see the looks of all of the doubters from the announcement all the way to the release day change, this game looks, feels and sounds like an Arkham game and did some things that a console game would never be able to do, i really hope that a lot of people get behind the the price tag of the meta quest 3 to experience this game!
@@davymc993 Sounds like you're just salty you can't play it, and because of that you hope it flops! Newsflash! We don't care whether you can't play it or not, true fans will enjoy the game even if they can't play it, your opinion means nothing!
@@davymc993 I genuinely hope every game on your console completely fails no matter what anyone says, they still could have made a version for VR as well. Just screw them.
@@davymc993wow, I can’t believe they made this VR game for VR!!! 😡😡😡
I guess we'll wait for someone to emulate the Meta Quest 3. Hope they don't take too long...
They are going to get Nintendo so hard. Those companies are not fans of emulators and if Nintendo keeps at it they will crush all.
I’m getting the quest 3 tomorrow, I can’t wait to play it
I don't care that it's vr exclusive
I don't like that it's only meta quest 3
Like i literally got no games for my psvr2 XD
real
psvr2 is worse than psvr1 games wise lol
The reason it’s exclusive on the Quest 3 is because the game can’t run on old hardware.
My brother in Christ, the psvr2 is less than 2 years old
