Never had a bulb do that but I broke a few blinker arms over the years.Noticed some of those scamazon replacements break pretty easy. And if I don't dump the bike at least once on a ride, it was just a trip to the store.
Those replacement is definitely not as rigged as the original. I swapped my smaller rear rack for the Procycle this season though and that does a great job of protecting the blinkers.
I rode same bike in my MSF this last July. My 6’0 frame with 32 inch inseam and size 18 feet made me feel like a Russian circus bear on a bicycle 😂 made shifting rather cumbersome. The cone weave was nuts on that tiny bike.😂
@@dirtcopdualsport yeah I stalled in the cone weave and dropped it. In a right turn of the cone weave trying to turn left and at the stall it shuddered and I dropped it. Popped off left turn signal lens cover and tip of clutch lever. Similar shifting issue with KLR 650 S , so after having my first bike, KLR, for 7 months, I traded it for an Africa Twin Adventure Sport with DCT. Now learning to ride is much smoother and faster. I am a long haul trucker and don’t get much home time to ride so it was like starting all over every home time. Now with the DCT, I can basically pick up where I left off. So a friend and I did the Bull river run and so, one week after MSF I took my first 200 mile road trip. It was a blast. I wished I started riding when I was younger vs 50. I missed out on a lot of fun, but with this bike, I suspect I can make up for lost time😂👍.
I don’t even have a bike, but I always enjoy the maintenance videos.
Congrats on passing 8 hundo btw! 🤘🏻😎👍🏻
Thanks buddy! The maintenance vids are always a slow burn for views!

Ha! First mod I made was to upgrade to a bigger shifter. I wrecked trying to find it with my foot and decided a new one was in order!

@@stevek4449 same! I didn’t start riding until my thirties. I love it!!!!
Poor blinker, blinked its last blink.
Truly a tragedy.
