I love the look of it , and the sound sounds nice, I would like to ride this one for a week even I'm used to ride on sommething much heavyer ! Just like it, cant explain ....
Any advice for how to convince people that it’s safe for me to get a bike? Finding it tough as riders dying on the roads seems to be a pretty common occurrence in Ireland
You don't need to convince anyone if people know you are a responsible, thoughtful and confident this should not be an issue. If you outwardly are seen as a bit of an irresponsible and wild then of course this will be seen as irrational for you to get a motorcycle. If you truly want to get into motorcycling you don't have to start on a CBR600rr get a little gn125 and invest in a good jacket boots gloves and helmet 👍 hope that helps
@@retrobikesdublin Thanks, that helps. I wouldn’t be the irresponsible type at all and would be more than happy with a sub 300cc bike. Would you say most accidents are driver error with perhaps pushing to hard? I really feel as long as I go on my journey wanting to reach my destination rather than showing off or testing limits there really shouldn’t be much risk.
I'd say just book the IBT, and see how you feel about riding. I did my IBT with some lad who trained the military on motorbikes and he made me feel super confident. He absolutely drilled the information in to me before even getting me out on the road. If ya get the right instructor, it can definitely help boost confidence, and you can regurgitate any info you learned to your family to show that you're serious about it.
I had a friend. He had no experience at all. He bought himself gsx r600. He died after 2 days. I still remember his Mother was so affraid, she begged him not to drive it..
@@retrobikesdublin every part you went over, especially the tyres and plastics which were heavily scraped and scuffed, was in very bad nick buddy.. your tyre was nearly bald 👩🏼🦲 too 😂🤣 the reason I even took interest was because this just happened to be the same bike my big brother owned and drove back in his late teens.. before his untimely suicide last year.
@@reneotten7376 yeah, of course I’m going to be bright and breezy when for as difficult as it is to deduce an even moderately simple existence; which is what he was smart enough to understand and execute action against, I’m sorry I’m suffering just a bit with his horrific suicide. Should I bake you a cake and present it to you on a pretty gold platter too? Grow up, get a grip and enter the real world, and realise that maybe I was a good guy before this happened.. or maybe I was just a cunt all along? Choice is yours, I really couldn’t give a fuck either way tbh.

My dream bike (no joke)
I bought this bike for €1850. Service was excellent and the bike is so much fun. Really love it.

Take your training seriously as well as when you're riding and you will be fine 👍
