Wow. A whole world I knew nothing about but something I could see in small amounts of in myself.
    Thank you

Wow this is scary. I've always thought OCD was tidy clean organized to the extreme but some of what he was describing I see parallels to my own self with..........

FACINATING. I'll never look at OCD the same. I'll never look at OCD the same. I'll never look at OCD the same. Okay, that was in poor taste, but seriously, I'll never look at OCD the same.

I think even ppl who say I'm so ocd could still have ocd. Ocd is a spectrum. I've had periods of full blown ocd that is severe that last over a year of intrusive thoughts and mental compulsions and anxiety or periods where I just get a lil annoyed about things being a certain way
It's a spectrum for sure. Ocd is like a spark when it flares up or a ember. But If you don't suppress it when it initially starts it can turn into a full blown forest fire.

Seriously. You couldn't think of a better example than an inappropriate thought of Jesus?? Thanks for that. Ugh. When I was a child, a guy in church told me to add, "in the bath tub" to every hymnal in the hymn book. I still struggle with that, except now I add other inappropriate thoughts to hymns because I've made better rhymes that what is currently in there. I'm going to stop listening to this podcast. Its making me worse!
