Let's get to the tutorial! We will be drafting and sewing from start to finish, a top that is flattering for almost anyone, and then we will be adding some great leather patch pockets, or a cool leather exclamation point. There is also an adjustment for those who prefer an off the shoulder look. Enjoy!

I notice when you're sewing from one section to the other, you transition easy without having to clip your threads, that's great! But, does your machine automatically cut off the bobbin thread? I've noticed that you not had to cut it loose from the bottom of your fabric. It's possible that maybe I just didn't notice.

Mimi, I noticed you forgot to mention to add seam allowances. Did you use 5/8 seam allowances or 1/4? Can I use some kind of bias tape for my neck line? thank you, Iris

Why do you have to sew the leather in the same direction?
To reduce the chances of it bunching/wrinkling up at the top where you finish the attachment of the applique.
