That frustration when you draw with Kasparov, we've all been there
ive never been able to draw kasparov :(
@@squirrels24sevenso you won your games with him?

Nope. In fact, I've never even lost to him, believe it or not!

@@claudioss8820relax nobody said that
😂😂
The commentators all talking over each other really helped.
ye i had to mute them
yep and it was really just the younger guy who kept talking over GM Sasserman (sorry for the misspelling)
They're so annoying just reading the engine without understanding anything and constantly changing opinion when the engine finishes calculating.
@@sardinhunt It's always entertaining to see people who have are three digits lower than them in ELO trying to explain their plays/say what is a good and bad move only for the engine to contradict them.

I was astonished by various matches were Magnus is very chill, easily beating the best of some player in certain category (e.g. 5 min) even having a beer! But seeing Kasparov this level of calm and Magnus this level of disbelief is next level.
Kasparov looks like he's about to go get a cold one from the fridge

Magnus freaks out over little mistakes all the time, big or stupid mistakes he hangs on to even if he wins.
@@duewhat9815hes a perfectionist hence why hes the world champion and he plays chess for a living so it’s understandable
@@supermanbatmommyno that's just being immature. A perfectionist doesn't react like a child when facing a mistake. He just takes notes and corrects it next time.
After all these years, he still couldnt get that W from Kasparov

Incredible. What a treat to watch these two play.
This shows that Kasparov is past prime but still handling magnus..
And lost 3 wives, due to his love no 1 : Chess. A very passionate genius
@@wilhelmbeck8498very stable, too.
no it doesn't
This was a Fischer Random event, in this case Kasparov still got It against most elite players. Don't get me arong: he Will be pressured but there's a lot of fight, still. But with the classic chess we're used, opening theory swallows hum up
KAABER GOD ALMIGHTY--🙏😊
Who is complete God?
Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding).
Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose.
In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God.
Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok( ETERNAL PLACE) 😊😊
God Kabir met Jesus and took his soul to Satlok. On their way, God Kabir made him see his ancestors David, Moses, Abraham, etc. in the Pitra Lokas. Then God took him to Satlok😊

Don't forget it's a retired GM (Kaspárov) who doesn't train 8/hours a day anymore, versus an active GM (Magnus) who's still on the court.
Magnus has very often, and openly said he doesn't really take chess seriously or study that much anymore. We also can't really use a game to completely decide where people stand in relation to each other.
Kudos to Kasparov for managing to bring a losing position to a draw though.

Gary is to Magnus like Magnus is to Hikaru. The frustration and everything and how a winning position slips from him.
Not really
Looked like a 60 year old Gary broke Magnus mentally. Makes me wonder what a 30 year old Gary could do.
@@julianc691 Ok maybe not so much anymore but before.
@@jaysant6958 i meant its not a good comparison

He didn't break down anyone or even play accurately this game. Magnus blundered and was upset with himself. With proper play Magnus would have swept him here.

Gary Kasparov is the GOAT.
Carlsen will be the GOAT.
Enough said.
Deep Blue 😉
Mikhail tal is magician
Why is Kasparov such a chicken? Can't he just study the newest chess-book, and study some stockfish 16 movesd, and then come back and beat Carlsen? does Kasparov really have so much pride to lose?
When you know you’re stronger than your old master and that’s exactly what the master uses to beat you😂
you know it was a draw, right?
Sometimes a draw feels like a win when your up against it my man.
@@doyourownresearch7297 I think he means he used Magnus ego against him. I think Magnus just missed a few moves personally. He's usually clinical in end games.
Garry seems so relaxed and confident
The excitement from them when he plays rook H7 ....yeah, no one saw that one coming .....
Its quite funny that magnus never beat kasparov before
He has just not in tournament
Garry Kasparov is the real n. 1 ever. So sad he did non play Fisher
Bobby? You sure?
@@pvn2474 No, Fisher Price
Kasparov is more than a player.
He was there teaching young Magnus.
Playing against a living legend takes a toll, even if you are Magnus.
Kasparov calculation abilities are insane, especially if you leave him time enough.
And I am sure that, against Magnus, covered by his impassibility, Kasparov will outplay himself, knowing he faces somebody superior.
Look at him, he's happy as a kid for stealing the draw.
Chess aliens are human too, apparently.
the thumbnail looks like kasproves gonna punch magnus
as a newb, the commentary is very challenging to keep up with without some arrows! :)
Yeah, we needed one of them with arrows and saying, takes, takes, takes
Don't worry they aren't paying attention and they're just reading the engine lines.
I recommend you to watch Daniel Naroditsky rapid speedruns or Hikaru game recaps to learn. It got me to 2100+ in 2 years of casual play.
now imagine playing 30 year old kasparov with access to supercomputer knowledge. Crazy to think magnus could be 2nd best if they were the same age
If they were in the same era I think it's likely Magnus would likely be 2nd to Gary, but it would be quite the rivalry.
@@billj4525 Maybe but Kaspy studied way harder, magnus was playing abc openings for a lot of his time, with same effort i think magnus might be better
Magnus' elo proves he's the best ever. Gary never played against someone that peaked as high as caruana on top of that. Just look at the highest elo of all times. It proves not only are todays chess players the best ever, but Magnus sits on the thrown.

Love watching these endgames
Wow! What a legend game...
You know its so rare to see a draw bar on end game especially a lot has been traded, this kasparov is so brilliant

Kasparov is a Goat.
Where is the whole game?
I believe these are the two greatest of all time.
When Magnus blinks he replays the whole game.
That's literally his chess teacher
His Dad and Mom. Simen Agdestein, Peter Heine Nielsen, Jan Gustafsson. He has practiced with many, both in official and unofficial capacity. I'm not sure if any have been pure mentorships. Are Garry and Magnus really that close? I know they are friends of sorts and have admirations for each other but I'm not sure it's as deep as any mentorships? I think Garry tried a couple of times to establish mentorship, I remember that from a news article a while back but I think Carlsen was much too independent. I remember it saying he didn't want to do his homework and so ended it. Why Magnus didn't do his assigned homework I can only speculate but if I had to guess it might have been something as simple as he was young and felt overwhelmed.
Don't take my word for any of this. I'm just spitting off stuff from my vague memory. Google is your friend here.
@@dreamshooter90 Garry was his teacher, it's as if your kindergarten teacher is your only teacher in life. Garry was the post graduate teacher level, helping Magnus break through the plateau to finally become world champion.

I hear a lot of comments against the commenters. If you analyzed the games like them than you would probably change your mind like they do. I'm not so certain but it sounds like it's is Maurice Ashley and Yasser Seirawan doing the commentary (?). They are legends in their own time. Just take notes.

It's not the first time Kasparov has saved a difficult position against Magnus. They had an OTB game a few years ago where Magnus was very annoyed to only draw against the great one.
