When I opened the cover, it was hard to lift up the cover, i noticed there was a slide button like under the screen at left and right corner.

On my 2014 Dell Inspiron 23, there are two sliding latches on the bottom edge of the monitor that need to be slid towards the outside edge to unlock the bottom of the back plate. You CANNOT remove the back without doing this. They are small round posts about 2" in from the corners on the bottom edge.

I have one of these. Was hoping to upgrade to windows 11 but it says the processor isnt supported and TPM isnt enabled - but i cant find that in the BIOS anywhere.
Is there any hope? Anyone install 11 on it and it run smoothly?

Yes it will run fine on the model! No need to upgrade processor, since you can;t upgrade the generation of the cpu due to motherboard limitations!

Click "Download Raw File" the down arrow icon on the top right of screen. Run this file prior to upgrade / install

What's different about the L?
@computerspecialist8533 also, I was literally just handed one of these last night because someone was getting rid of it. So I haven't had time to do much research. Normally I have a much better grasp on what I have 😂
Standard DDR3 (JEDEC JESD79-3F) requires a supply voltage of 1.5V. DDR3L (JEDEC JESD79-3-1A. 01) requires a supply voltage of 1.35V. Also if it only has one stick or ram in it and has an empty slot, I would try and locate the exact stick that you currently have on ebay / amazon so they match! Double it up with an exact speed match!

I have no power on mine since I tried to change the ram. I put the original ram back in, took out the motherboard coin battery and pressed the power button for over a minute to drain any charge, but it still won’t show any signs of life. Any advice?
Does it power on? (Like any lights or fans etc?)

Yes as the video states we highly recommend replacing with a solid state as video shows.

I replaced the hard drive on this same cpu, but how do I get it to past no bootable device found?
Are you trying to clone your old data or clean install?

You'll have to use a bootable install media / USB drive. On another computer you can utilize the Windows "Media Creation Tool" you can find on Microsoft's website to make it. When its all done, plug it into the Dell All in One computer and turn it on, repeatedly press F12 until the boot menu shows up. Should let you select the USB drive. There you can install Windows :)

DD3L-12800 Speed. Make sure it is L version, they also make DD3-12800.
