As a IT tech whose been in the field for almost a decade, these videos are fantastic.. even remind me to freshen up on my IT tech knowledge. Thanks for that!
@@PowerCertAnimatedVideos SSD is fragile.. i just buy my laptop a year ago, w/ 500GB SSD HD, and it was crash #bluescreen and the HD was replaced w/ the new one
Nobody come close to the magnificent simplicity and details of those videos. Really impressive. Thank you very much. Please continue making these videos.
huge respect, the quality in the form of animation and the information that these videos give in such a short time period are golden, it makes me actually like to learn stuff because it goes straight to the information and i know that i will not spend unneccessary hours reading texts or listening to someone his speech. HUGE RESPECT
Thank you for all these videos! They're absolutely fantastic! I just got a job in IT-support and I'm using your videos to fresh up my knowledge as well as increase it.
Thank you for what you do. The visuals with your no nonsense explanations have been hugely helpful in filling in many of the gaps in my studies. I know what you do is hard work (editing) and I really appreciate it.
Thanks from South Africa 🇿🇦 . I have a Diploma in Network Management but we were given lecturers who don’t know anything . I’ve learnt more from here than school . Thanks man , my job is demanding but i come back from work and watch your videos and I understand better . I wish i found your channel while i was in college
It's always good to see a new video from you PowerCert! As for me, I replaced the spinners on my desktop and laptop, and the boot up time and overall performance is at least 10 times faster. I will never go back to a spinner, no matter how cheap they can be. As for my desktop, I have a 1TB SSD as primary and a 2TB as secondary for docs and seldom used files.
I love these videos. I just passed my security + this month so now I have all 3! A+, Network + and Security +. I'm always learning new things on this channel. My favorite is always the kewl animations like the drives burning up in this video. It's so fun to learn here.
I have been searching for articles on various topics related to data storage and future technologies related to it, but no article could make me understand it in an easy, layman way until when I got fortunate enough to get my eyes on powercert video. You are the best whosoever is behind the channel you explain it so so so so we’ll😊. Thankyou
Great videos ; I often share these as an IT pro to explain things to regular people. Some suggestions on this video: a) weight ; SSDd are also more lightweight than the magnetic ones and is a benefit b) I often reference magnetic disks as "spinning disks" and target the benefit of SSD as eliminating that moving part. c) price.... while you are presently correct, the assertion on price will soon be moot. I often replace 1TB drives with 128GB SSDs for less and $30 to garner the improvement in a system and extend it's useful life without a tonne of cost and many people who HAVE a 1TB drive are never anywhere near it's capacity
That's a bad way to think of it. Weight wouldn't even matter if the Drive was on a PC, like who gives a damn fuck for that? Unless it's in a Laptop IT WOULD slightly weigh more and less. And about the "Use 120GB SSD" instead of 1TB HDD, yes, sure the prices are same there, but I know many people who DO USE all that storage capacity when they have the cheaper 1TB HDD option. Most of the people use their storage to be fair.
Your explanation method is excellent... i really like the graphical re-presentation which you put in every video of yours. it really help the students to understand the concepts very well..... including me. Looking forward to see such stuff on regular, so poor people can also learn such technical knowledge freely and remember you in their prayers. May you have been blessed with good health & wealth. Keeping growling bro
3:30 - It's not very common, But SSD's can theoratically come in *ANY* form facotor one would like, we see 3.5" U.2's, or SAS SSD's, but in reality there have been SSD's with a length of a server but the length and breath of them are usually small. That thing can be modified for any application for entreprise stuff where they need high density Per smaller space
