- MOMENT Russian soldiers forced into surrender 'after oversleeping' in trenches and getting caught by Ukrainian ground forces.
This footage was released by the 72nd Mechanised Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, and appears to show a number of Russian troops being captured.
This footage has not yet been verified by The Sun and the location is currently unconfirmed.

One of the clear cases when oversleeping is a very good thing. Jackie Chan also overslept on September 11, 2001 when he was scheduled to shoot parts of a movie on top of one of the World Trade Center buildings.

That does not help. 2 days no water, feel weak and lethargic, 3rd day, you are totally useless.
No food is not that bad, if you have enough reserves to burn first day is no good, then you get back up there provided you are in proper physical shape.
If you do not have the reserve to burn, you will feel weak and lethargic.
Constant artillery barrage will tire you out and have you nodding off at any time by day 3-4.
They lack resupply and there were reports of too little drinkable water. I bet it is lack of water and fatigue from the constant shelling.
