Ukraine's troops can be seen blasting Vladimir Putin's soldiers with machine guns as intense fighting along the front lines suggests the long-awaited counter-offensive has begun.
Believed to have been filmed in the Donetsk region, the incredible video shows Russian troops quickly retreating from the battlefield as Ukrainians attack.
A different, Call Of Duty-style video, shows a Ukrainian soldier firing multiple shots with machine guns at Russian troops in an intense trench battle.

@@blakespower okay, this video was posted afterwards, but I watched live security cameras as Russia was storming a nuclear plant in the first weeks of the war. Also, I've had conversations with Nucking Futs Yuri, the dude in the turret of the right HMMWV, the one where the gun jams a lot. He's in the field right now. He also had a youtube channel where he occasionally posts some footage, ranging from racing a tank, to POV footage of him getting hit by a mine.
The amount of footage from this war and the speed at which it's being released is insane.

As a United States Marine i just wanted to say that i'm highly impressed with the way this Ukrainian unit carried out this trench assault and their overall tactical movement, firing positions and combat prowess. You can tell they're being trained well. 🤙🏼
In another video you can see them throwing grenades at friendlies and possibly killing one, i wouldn't say they are that impressive, but this video shows ukrainian courage
I wish you explained. With complete ignorance, I have seen two Humvees shooting and leaving. The only nice move I observed, the soldier moving out of the way of the Humvee, for it was heading over him. So, they got out of the vehicles. With few days exercise, it can be done. They moved to the direction of the trenches. Right analysing of the situation, observing the direction and heading towards. Two weeks training maximum. After? Mostly approaching by standing position. Very wise, appearing bigger to the enemy, it might scares them. Preferably in one group. It is good, if they trained baseball for 6 weeks, if they are close to each other, there is more chance that one can catch the hand grenade flying, and throwing it back to the trench, before it explodes. I think, the Sun is working on this version. Did I forget something? Yes. After the Russian left, they moved in. It is two more weeks exercise.
No doubt, the 3 month paid off handsome.

Against one guy? Seriously? That impressed you? They were sitting ducks out in the open, lucky that nothing fell on top of them.

They didn’t know what these guys had as far as weaponry and their capabilities. There could have been more hiding in caves. The Russians could have been setting up an ambush. Regardless, what the Ukrainians did took courage and they performed a pretty damn good assault on the enemy. They certainly didn’t look disorganized. Give them at least some credit, my man.

this is what it looks like when you have infantry and mounted infantry working together who are actually competent and have a plan.
and your enemy is a couple of infantrymen on an isolated outpost with no artillery or AT support. The actual Russian first line of fortifications is to the rear

Comparing this and the early videos from Ukraine, the different is astounding. This looks like it could be an American infantry squad assaulting an objective, not loosely organized rebels like the early videos looked like.

@@TheRealSpealthey are what you may call a soft skin Target makes them easy target for artillery a Bradley or bmp they can handle a bit more punishment but as soon as they started the attack the Russians would have called in for counter battery support the troops on the ground can get low enough to be safe but humvee can't they stick out like a sore thumb in an empty field
I'm sure this was a 'mopping up' operation, so the general area was secured and chances of enemy fire low. The russian guys who are left don't have radio's / skills to call in artillery fire. They only moved in with the HUMVEE in the end part of the action which we see here.
@joostdriesens3984 That's probably what it was, but in this day and age, you only need the man to take out a tank. Moving at 50km per hour is just as good as 300 mm of armour

The Ukrainians did not f**k around: jumped to the scene in them Humvees, deployed under the cover of the cal 50, then surrounded the trenches. Their US trainers must be proud.
they are trained by the British not the Americans. they just so happen to be Using American armoured equipment here. same training applies to all NATO weaponary

They are being trained in Britain. Both air & land training provided by us.
@@debrarobinson57 they are being trained by the British Army and Royal Marines, they are also undergoing Tank and armoured vehicle training for both Challenger II and Leopard II by the Royal Hussars as well as aircraft training in RAF simulation pods.
They are indeed. I'm so glad to see them using their training so well, when the majority of them were civilians not long ago, with no experience at all. I would bet that when this is over, and the massive clean up is done, Ukraine will instigate a form of National Service, and make sure they are never defenceless against this sort of aggression ever again.

That lone soldier who popped out of the dugout was ballsy. Hail of .50 cal, small arms and RPGs and still popped out to fire back. There's no real winner in war.

In a way I feel sorry for the Russians, as I know many of them hate putin and the war. I support the Russians with this belief as they do not deserve this to happen to them. If WW2 taught us anything, its that tanks have to be dispensable while having effective capabilities and keeping their crews safe.
There is a reason an ‘invincible’ tank like the Tiger didn’t work. The Leopard tank is designed according to a very different doctrine

This is some fine ass highly professional combat, I'm utterly impressed by the calm, precise and coordinated tactical movement and situational awareness in this attack, i served in the Danish army second brigade mechanized infantry, which probably are amongst the best trained infantry and best equipped in the world and i would proudly serve with this unit in the video.
This is because the Ukrainian army has become one of the best in the world

We could always look in the mirror and think about the past in hindsight, but most importantly is what we do know to shape the outcome of the future, and with the Ukrainian unbeatable morale and combat effectiveness considering the enemy, I'm sure UA will be victorious as long as you're careful and considerate in the art of war. Thankfully the Russian war doctrine appears to be severely outdated regardless of their "quantity over quality" mindset.

Russian invasion is not justifiable. You can't destroy a nation of millions to seek happiness for few people. Even, we hate those who reduce the production of oil, just to raise prices. (I mean S.A).
For equility USA should share their printed dollars to other nations based on population and development index, otherwise nations like Bangladesh, Pakistan, & Sri Lanka can't bear burden of USA inflation.
USA problem is that, it does not invest in infrastructure like China. It only funds wars. For example, they spent 800 billion dollars in Afghanistan on their army and paid only 12 billion dollars to Pakistan in terms of logistics support provided to them in the period of 20 years. Indirectly, Pakistan lost more than that, due to terrorism wave in affiliated areas, along the borders of Afghanistan. There should be no greed for own interests.
Pakistan is not a big trade option for any nation, that's why it will be always at risk of default.
