Chicken Alfredo | Follow Along

Today, we will be making chicken alfredo! The ingredients and directions are below. Please put any questions in the comments, if any. This is a simple dish, and anyone can make it with store-bought items.

Ingredients & Measurements:
- Shredded rotisserie chicken (or cooked chicken)
- Two garlic cloves
- Half pint (8 fl oz) heavy cream
- Half 32 oz (2 cups) chicken broth
- Half bag/box (16 oz) penne pasta (not the whole bag unless making double portions)
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese or cheese blend

Directions:
To a pot add the chicken broth and heavy cream and add garlic; bring to a boil and add pasta and chicken. Simmer and cover until most of the liquid evaporates but leave a little in there then stir in cheese and top off with black pepper or parsley.
Tip: A vegetable may be added during cook time like broccoli or spinach. Serve with garlic bread and tossed salad.
