Making Artisan Dutch Oven Bread

  • Today, we will be making Artisan Bread in our oven! You are free to follow along, if you'd like. The ingredients and measurements are down below.

    Ingredients & Measurements:
    3 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
    1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
    2 tsp Kosher Salt
    1 3/4 cups Warm Water

    Directions:
    Whisk together dry ingredients and add water. Then, mix it until the dough starts turning sticky.
    After, cover the dough up to at least 6-8 hours or overnight. Place it on a wood table, but no cold stone countertops.
    While dough is out on surface after taking it back out, sprinkle some flour on the surface you're using and onto the dough. Fold over on each side until your dough is almost in the shape of a ball. Then, add a slit on top and sprinkle a little bit more flour.
    Pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees; add empty dutch oven to heat for about 30 minutes, then add your dough to it after taking it out. You then put the dutch oven back into your oven and let your bread bake for 30 minutes.
    Take it out again afterwards, then uncover the dutch oven and continue baking for about 10-15 more minutes until golden.
