This is the last song that I listened to before my ex called me out of the café that I was studying in so he could break up with me. It’s almost like it was a premonition or an omen, that I began listening to ISON at the start and at the end of our relationship. Sevdaliza says the same line “Lord grace me with continuous power”, I needed so much of my own power during the relationship, I was always depressed and felt lonely, I needed to build up an effort to conquer my depressive episodes. And at the end of our relationship, I needed the same power to help me get used to my new life without him, an ACTUAL loneliness. I now listen back to this song with satisfaction, even through a tough relationship, I was able to think with my heart, think with intention, and stay true to myself.
