A small tip. You don't need to draw two circles prior to offsetting two lines @2:41. Just offset that line in either direction and then execute fillet command. You can fillet two parallel lines.
@@anketkamtekar What I mean to say is not to draw two circles in the first place. Simply, offset the lines and fillet them. Probably, you will not need to specify the fillet radius, as well as, overhead of trimming the circles to get the desired slot.
I stopped the video in 19 seconds and tried to do it myself, it took me a long time, because I used basic commands, however, after watching your complete video and time was in half, and the quality was much higher. I'm from Campinas, Brazil thanks
Anket Kamtekar thank you! It would be awesome to see how you see the drawing and what your thought process would be. Also a step by step would be a bonus:)
I think you confused between Diameter and Radius .. There is Value of Radius 15 ..not diameter 15 to take 7.5 Radus5 value . we need to draw Arc of radius 15 ...
Wow. I remember this exact shape from over 20yrs ago when I studied drafting and design.

Your write dear..but there i show center dimension of circle

R15 value is there you taken offset value 7. 15/2 is 7.5 answer why you taken 7 only bro
You are really true viewer ..
Did you ask about 9:10 time of video ???
@@anketkamtekar yes bro
@@ManojKumar-fh2fr
See the inside slot radius is 8
And out side arc value is 15..
So R15 - R8 = R7
This calculation I mentioned that in video
