“Do everything humanly possible” is the subtle message I get out of this one. Yes, write that song, make that painting, etc. don’t worry if the song will be a hit, or the painting will be as valuable as the Mona Lisa; just focus on doing the work and give it a try.

In January 2018 my wife left, she left me with 3 young daughters. At the end of that year everything else came crashing down. I lost my job which I had come to hate. It has been a very difficult 4 years, I am only now again clawing back my life and rebuilding.
I recently discovered your channel and though I wish I could afford the metamorphic program these videos are awesome! Thank you!

No matter what life cycle you're in right now. Don't compare your journey to others, it's like Einstein said. Some people are a fish but are being judged by their ability to climb a tree. Semething like that lol. And if you are a fish wanting to climb a tree comparing yourself to a monkey you'll always be disappointed. And also clueless how other people can do what you think you should be doing but can't no matter how hard you try. Cause that tree is not meant for you! Got to realise you're meant to go to the ocean. When you find your path, motivation and drive to execute on it comes as well. So question everything, nobody can know you but you. Understand who YOU are.

My husband wanted to die on the job. He worked on our vacations, the kids and me swimming in the pool. He lived to work. He never got to reap the benefits of his labor. This bothered me, until I realized…he would never have been happy in retirement. It’s ok to not want to retire. Enjoy life as you go. I think this is why my eldest is going on vacations, living his best life, because life is short. 💙

Yeah. I first found this out when I fell off the track: five years in uni, no degree in sight, all my peers were getting their Master's or already working and I'd slacked off, I was 24 and behind, I'd wasted time, I felt useless.
I finally left uni, tried my luck at turning a few passions into jobs, followed a few different routes, realized I was only a failure if I stopped trying, and in 30 years time no one will care if you've graduated a decade later or not at all, only that you're good at what you do.
I now see my peers struggling now through the same doubts I've struggled with before, only they're doing it later down the "line".
I've gotten into a good job I liked, a good career, decided to go back to uni to try my hand at the academic side. Let's see how life rolls, I don't wanna die without having chosen my path!

I started a side hustle that helped me retire early and I now have many options in life. You never know where a side hustle will take you or the satisfaction of a job you enjoy.

We don't really have some 3,000 hr to do whatever we want. There are necessities that take a chunk of time like eating, meal prep, shopping; grooming, washing, laundry; cleaning at a minimum. Most people also want some exercise, recreation, time with other people. Many others have spouse and children, maybe house and yard work.
Still it is a good message that it is never too late to make something important to you a priority. Life, though, is not about achieving your dream. It's sad if that is a person's life goal and what they regret at the end.

If you do what everyone else is doing you’ll get the results everyone else is getting and I don’t think most of us like that idea. Do something bold and try to break the trend. If all else fails, that boring office job will always be there if you need it but take a chance on yourself to achieve something more while you still can

At 37, I have already reinvented myself twice, and very likely will at least once more. The fact is, I am committed to doing it as many times as I need/want to. That's where it gets easier. You're just getting started! The hardest part is usually just deciding what you truly want (at this point in time - the good news is that you can change your mind whenever you choose to do so).

Excellent video content. I just turned 40 and I've been living a new version of myself for 9 months after adding 20/30 hours for a while to my old rat race life. This cost me the relationship I was in, a series of friendships that went nowhere and a series of challenges and barriers that I had to overcome alone, because nobody cares about anyone. Now I live a little on the fringes of the "rat race" society presenting myself as "unemployed" every time I talk to those who are still in the "rat race". This year after returning from vacation, which I booked when I wanted and felt like it and not when it suited the "company", I could taste for the first time in my life what it is like to come back from vacation happy to go back to "work" instead of come depressed about having to do something that didn't make me happy. Congratulations on the video.

That's so great to hear because I'm trying to get out of that pointless rat race as well. I'm glad to hear some people have succeeded. How do people react when you tell them you're unemployed? People are so judgemental where I live so even if they don't say anything, you can still notice a shift in their attitude toward you. They make you feel like you're dragging them down or like you're bad influence.

I can relate to this so much. Especially from the mindset of me 4 yrs (oct 2017) back when I first had the realization that I needed to get my shit in order.
Something I tell ppl is that it is never too late to follow your childhood dream.
It's ain't always going to he glamorous, I've had to give up my home and have been sleeping in mommies spare room the past 3 years (October 2018), but, and as much as I resisted the idea because what everyone would think, I have had the time and energy to do everything I should have been doing since I was 12 to get me to where I'm at right now.
But if your not willing to make serious sacrifices you might as well prepare for a life of settling.
I did, for a very long time. I ignored that call inside myself.
And to be honest, ppl can laugh I live with mom, but I look like this. I quit old job July 2018, and have been building my own company since august 2020.
No one tells me what, and I get cozy up under a 15lb leopard weighted blanky playing with witches and writing smart shit.
Sometimes all you gotta do is say fuck it

I had a rude awakening at 36 as an orphan. Still want a family and I don’t care what others say. Mom had me at 44, only because she lost everything earlier and dad was persistent. I plan to live to 120, too.

It's just the older you get the more of death you hear. And it should be a reminder not a reason to feel hopeless. This present moment is the only thing that you truly possess. This moment just travels through the time. But your past, and future affect your choice now. So one should consider everything like Clark said. Great advice, thanks!

I am a job hopper. I get a job for a few months then I quit, rinse and repeat. In reality I'm an artist. I had a taste of working for myself, doing concept art and a short animation and getting paid for it, the issue is finding clients...especially SERIOUS clients. Right now unemployed in a totally different world, a world where I want to establish my business there. Biggest goal is creating an animation/Voice over/ video game studio.
By the way, as a girl who digs men with mustaches, thank you for rocking the 'stache instead of a beard. 💜

Man really I hope you read this, because you are giving AMAZING value. I came across your channel some months ago because one of your videos was suggested and I just clicked on it without guessing. I think it was sent by God, because it was an answer I was looking for at the moment. And maaaaybe, you have very attractive titles and thumnbails as well 👌😂
I am learning so much from you. Each video is so much value, and this is the type of information that I LOVE to learn about, what really makes change. And knowing your story is really inspiring, and most of all, you tell us how to do it. Also you are amazing at explaining. It's not just the message, it's also the way you deliver it. Obviously you know it, but you are a pro at what you do. THANKS!! 🔥🔥🔥

Coming from a video about not comparing yourself to others, especially with a higher status than you, and about the struggles they have and the stress, doing probably so much hard work,a work they probably dislike,it makes me think that following my dream and leaving my familly behind is not worth it. My dreams changed growing up, the 16 year old wanted something else, immature. Now the dream is to work my 8 to 16 to provide for my family, for my kids, and afford doing many things together. That 16 years old boy dream had no perspective, leaving behind a legacy or a failed life. Grow up and dream big is my advice, never stop learning!

What started working for me is sacrificing. Just put things off that stop you out in life. For me it’s my phone in the morning because my shifts are late. I just commited myself to stay of my phone for a week and voila it automatically created new habits to fill that gap. So now I don’t feel like I need my phone in the morning. I‘m working out, meditating, reading and working on my own book. Just sacrifice what holds you back and fill that time up useful. You won’t need it anymore in a week or month. Now you automatically created new habits.
