I have two Oransi Max purifiers and a Mod Jr. I prefer the Mod over the Max. The Mod is very easy to clean. Just vacuum the outside and pull the filter out and vacuum that then wipe down the inside and you are done. I have asthma and I love these purifiers. Both the Max and Mod work very well I can recommend this company.

Merv 17 is essentially clean room level filtration. It's beyond 99.99 of 0.01. It's medical grade. It gets particles 0.02 at 96 percent. And their carbon has a 76% removal rate of formaldehyde. Perfect for new paint.

Oransi is one of the most underrated purifier companies on earth. I'm surprised they aren't AAFA certified.

Hi! , I am from the Philippines, May I know if the outer part of Oransi is it made of cloth? and is it removable/washable?

You just vacuum the outside off, it does not come off. You do need to vacuum off the filter inside and wipe down the area around the filter. It just takes about 10 minutes or less. I have the Mod Jr. and two Oransi Max purifiers. I like the Mod Jr better than the Max. The Mod is so much easier to clean.

I bought this. Good unit BUT!!!! We have had to change to the filter every 4 weeks. At $75 per filter that is PRICEY AS SHIT. It does a nice job but there will NEVER be a person getting 3 months use from the filters let alone 6 months. 1 a month seriously. And we are clean folk.

Mind if I ask how did you know you needed to replace the filter? Mine is next to Bogies cage so I’m assuming I’d need to replace it sooner than later too
