Watched you for the very first time. Very well done. New to the game of darts, and watched many grip, stance and follow through videos. Yours taught me as much if not more. Don't waste movement on what does not hit the target and be consistent. Grip with comfort and know it may take time for the dart to work with you. And know it will take time because its a game of skill not luck. Keep up the work you are doing. I am watching/listening/learning. If I was wrong in my assessment of the lessons, please rebuke.
I don't often comment on videos, and to be honest I have never seen a vid by Garage Darts before this. I'm new to the world of darts. But having come from the background of learning a sport from scratch and competing in both Foosball and billiards I think this is a great representation of what the first steps are into the sport of darts for those that may be interested. Great Video
Thanks Jeff, I hope to have the next video out in the next few weeks, which is a how-to on the game of cricket.Glad you like it so far! Thanks for watching
Darter for 5 weeks and play "Around the World" and "100 darts to Bullseye" I managed to get 28 of 100 to bullseye and 44 darts around the world w/bull. I like to use the archery stance with side of my foot at the Awekey. Anchoring the rear foot has really improved my game. Intense focus on the red bull instead of the general bull area has given me more bulls. I usually warm up with 21 darts to loosen up before starting.
It’s definitely all repetition, only been play once or twice a week for a month now, and man has my game improved drastically within that time, it really helps if you have your own darts I find so you get used to the same weight and everything
Absolutely! Once you find something you have success with, it is so important to stick with that same set! You will have marked improvements after every few weeks, once the muscle-memory kicks in! Keep up the great work! 😉
Great video and looking forward to more. Just got my first board for many years. Want to get back into it and improve. Perseverance is definitely key. I get so easily tempted into changing my grip or stance when things don't go well. But then I'm in a cycle of constantly changing. I know what I have to do but sticking to it is so difficult for me. 😆 I'm looking forward to some practice routines I can follow 👍
Thanks Vee! It is easy to think something needs to change in order to improve or get the results you want. But more often than not, all that is needed is practice! Good luck to you! And thanks for watching!

👍 it's like a refresher course but a definite 101 for non - dominant handers.😅
Wow Cali. Very impressive. I love your lesson and you are a great teacher. I might even take up the sport lol. But seriously. Well done!

I don't get too precious or analytical about throwing a dart. I just do what feels comfortable and natural. Works for me.
Cali, this is tremendous. Beautifully put together and super informative. Subscribed 👍
Thanks for the sub! Cricket video is next. Will be fun!

Another great video
