I recon all us folks are part of the John Lennon Demo Club.These demos are all just great,just John and his piano or guitar,are better than Taylor,Beyonce,Jellyroll and any rap/crap out there.This all soulful and creative.
I truly love listening to all of the CDs of the LLT on Sunday mornings like I did in the late 80s. Some beautiful demos on those VIGOTONE ,misterclaudel , and HMC titles.
Yes, sometimes thats the best times to write songs. Although John & Paul wrote some great songs under those contractual Obligations, like most of the songs off the "Rubber Soul" LP...

Did he use fx pedals? Never really had him down as an fx pedal guy but sounds like he kicks on some chorus part way through mucho mungo or it could just be tape degradation lol
