Blown away by this series! The storytelling, the emotion, the cinematography, and the photography...speechless.
I'm very sad to see this series end. You've been to many beautiful places and experienced so much on this epic adventure. I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job of documenting the trip and thank you for taking us along with you. I can't wait to see what is next.
Thanks so much Mark! It has been a beautiful and challenging journey but wildly rewarding! So happy we could bring you along ❤️
I totally agree! I wasn’t expecting to cry at the end, dang it! Superb work. Kudos to you guys!
Like other we are so sad to see this end. You all did a great job. We drove our class B RV the Alaska from Tennessee two years ago. Great memories. Hope to see some more work from you all in the future.
I am satisfied. Satisfied that if my eyes don't see and feet don't walk these beautiful places, I've seen enough. Thank you.
Thank you Fellow Journyers , for sharing❤
This was the greatest series I’ve ever watched on UA-cam I’m devastated to see it come to a end
That is quite possibly the highest praise we've ever received. Thank you
This has been an incredible series. Thank you so much. The cinematography, the opening illustrations I commented on previously, the storytelling - all fantastic.
Truly awesome! Heading back to the Yukon in less than a month! First went 50 years ago, lived there 2 years, and it's true....you never forget. 👍😎🇨🇦🥂
This series was so, so beautiful. 🤩 Thank you so much for 15 wonderful Sundays. And also - wow! 😳 🥳 - to a whopping 6 hours of Alaska. You guys. That's two Lord of the Rings movies you filmed, edited and released here. That's a massive achievement, that you can be rightfully proud of. What an effort. Amazing.
I just binged watched the entire series. And all I can say is WOW!!!! You are an amazing narrator and story teller. Not to mention the videography and photography. David Attenborough has nothing on you. Congratulations on your journey and many more.
You are so LOVEABLE! I am 83 and have watched all of your videos numerous times
You are so sweet! We’re happy to have you here
i think what you have done here is lay foundation to something that is a well done work of art, and will continue to shower benefits to you for months/years to come. Cheers!
Thank you so much Borg for the kind words. It was a real labor of love but we are so proud of what we made!
Dude - this is like watching the finale of a 90's sit com you knew it was coming from episode one but you just hoped the powers that be would change their minds and make another episode. Watching your content has inspired me and my family to get outside and even book a trip to Alaska this summer. Thank you for the inspiration and amazing content. Look forward to seeing what the next adventure is for yall.
I feel like that just warmed my heart in a way I don't think I can full express. Thank you Jay, that means the world to us to hear. If we had more to pull from and make more, we would.
Holey WoW great series very well done !!! Keep up the excellent work Thank you for all your hard work !!!!!!!
Thank you so much Chris. Truly it was a cathartic experience to make this series. It was our way of turning grief into something beautiful
A journey just begun. Your creative art and dialogue are melded into a message worth watching often!
Just returned from an Alaskan cruise and re watched this entire series. This time, I had a deeper appreciation for Alaska and your videography and storytelling expertise.
My partner and I were in Big Bear at the Toyo event when you two had just gotten back from this trip. We frequently refer back to your level of stoke while talking about your Alaska trip as inspirational. It’s sad to see this series end, but I can’t help but be excited to see what’s next. Also, these shots of Yukon were incredible!
Thank you for the series. I watch with my husband, who is inspired by your photography.
Thank you so much! It was a joy to have you all along for the ride!
I can’t stop watching this.
My suggestion would be to put this entire series on
A DVD that would be great and I am sure it would sell
very big.Give it a thought.
Again thank you for a wonderful journey.
Be safe ❤😢
You guys ends your serie, at full moon total eclipse, where the main theme is the reborn. Congrats! This is such a beautiful work you both made.
Thank you! And we were all out watching that moon too!
Wow, beautiful journey. I cried so many times during this series, it moved me so deeply. Thank you.
I did too ;) Thank you so much for the kind words and watching our handy work! It was a joy to bring to life!
Watching from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
Thank you so much for watching!
This whole series has left me feeling a deep warm glow of contentment. You virtually transported me to Alaska. Your creation has blessed me tremendously. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🥹
Mak and Owen - I have been so deeply blessed and touched by this series. I am inspired by your cinematography and by your words. Thank you for making me so homesick for Alaska that I am moving back home to Alaska later this year. Consider me a subscriber, a fellow traveler, a kindred spirit, and a friend. Thank you, Mak and Owen! May your journeys be blessed.
Thanks to both of you, Mak and Owen. This series was not only beautifully shot and narrated, but also extremely inspiring. It truly felt like I was there along for the ride, enjoying first hand the magnificent vistas and wildlife. Looking forward to see what’s next.
Hands down the most underrated channel on UA-cam! Thank you for sharing your story touring Alaska. I too can’t wait to get back and also can see myself living there someday.
Safe travels✌️
Even those this series has ended I hope that you continue with other journey’s to places that inspire, bring happiness, and awe to you both.
Best Chanel on UA-cam! This last segment brought me yo tears, I cant believe the series is over. Safe travels to you both, looking forward to where the road takes you.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We are so lucky to be able to travel this way so it feels our way of paying it forward to share it and pass a little stoke along!
Thank you for making this joyful piece of art!
It was a real pleasure to make
So wonderful to see Alaska from you both perspective. We made this trip in 2003 from Boston to Alaska via Canada and then down to LA, where I had to fly back home to Boston, but my wife and sister finished the round and added 16000 miles. The most amazing trip I ever did. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! I feel like no one leaves Alaska the same 💙
Outstanding!!! We loved every minute! You are both “Bound” for greatness!!!
You are so sweet. As my dad say, if you build it, they will come. But we just want to make things that we are proud of, and today I feel like we’ve really done that
WOW! Sorry to see this end, but looking forward to the next adventure!
So glad that I to meet you at Overland Expo. What a great surprise!
Thanks Ernie! So glad to have met you too and not even at the event itself!
Amazing series! So glad we found you! We are getting ready to hit the road full time in 18 days! Some of your other videos have been so helpful, insightful and inspiring!
Entire series was awesome but this last episode made me homesick for the Province I called home for 18 years, BC. Squamish is such a great place as is all of BC. Love this adventure. Been to all the places you went and thank you for how you saw this amazing part of North America. One of the best channels on UA-cam.
❤INCREDIBLE JOB...AND ALL THE WORK PUT INTO THIS DOCUMENTARY. BRAVO!!!!!
RIP ♥️ GRANNY.😢
Well done. Thank you.
We are so sad to see the series end. We drove our class B RV to Alaska two years ago from Tennessee and this is brought back so many great memories. We hope to see some more quality work from you all in the future thank you.
Thanks for the beautiful series! Looking forward to the future and everything else left to come!
There is so much to come! Thanks for being along for this journey!
You guys did a beautiful job photography Alaska….very classy, the best I have seen! I loved how you weathered the storms and made the best of everything that came your way. You should feel really proud of this work. Thank you!
Daaaaaaaaamn...from the first minute of the series to the last it was just completely EPIC!!! Tremendous story telling, again MAK your narration is just completely on point. The flow of the vid, the background music, all perfectly in sync with the story. If y'all haven't already please take a moment and pat yourselves on the back for a job well done!
We were on the road without internet for several weeks, so we missed this last episode when it premiered. We have now been home for two weeks and I finally mustered the courage to watch the end of your Alaska trip. Everything about your trip, especially your videography and narration, has been awesome and has made us feel like we were there. I will miss the community of Sunday night watchers that were there for every episode. I can't wait to see where you will go and what you will do next.
Thank you so much Amy for finishing strong. I miss our Sunday evening hangouts too. We will be back with more soon, I promise! For now we are enjoying the break and looking ahead at new projects of which we are SO excited about!
I put off watching this because I didn’t want it to be over. But your ending summed it perfectly. Thank you for sharing and providing inspiration!
Words fail to express the sheer gratitude I feel for you both. This series has been one of the best I have ever seen. You documented Alaska and your experience with such beauty, grace, and honesty. I truly enjoyed it and I cannot wait until the next one. Cheers from a fellow lover of nature, travel, and new experiences. Godspeed!!!
What an incredible series. Loved every second of it. Watching this episode from the San Juan mountains on my first week of my six month journey. I also have my Bound for Nowhere patch on the ceiling of the 4Runner I have yet to name 🤣 Thanks for all the inspiration.
Thanks Michael! Glad to be along for the ride. Savor every moment of these six months!
@@BoundForNowhere Will do I think I'm heading my way up the Alaska highway in mid June to visit my brother in Girdwood 😁👍 Maybe we can meet up when you have your Alaska excursion . Bye for now and once again excellent series🏞️👍
Your way of telling a story is very inspiring.Thank you for your talents
I have watched the series several times. The whole experience has no words. Maybe WOW or unbelievable. I can’t wait for your next adventure.
Our Native Land! Can't wait!
What a spectacular journey! I loved every episode of it. Thank you for making something so interesting, beautiful and shareable. I can’t wait to see where the road takes you next! ❤️❤️
Incredible series! Excited to see where you guys go next! As always thanks for sharing!
Us too! And happy to have you along for the ride
After finishing this final episode I turned to my partner and said, “this is probably the best UA-cam series I’ve ever seen.” It really is. I can feel the energy and heart ❤️ you invested into every one of these episodes. It became something looked forward to every week. Congrats again on creating something really special here. Excited to see what you have in store next. 🛣
Just finished the series! Off the charts, just incredible! Can't imagine the about of effort that went into it, thank you sooooo much!!!! Will be rewatching!
Bravo!! You two raised the bar so high this year. The wife and I LOVED following your adventures to the point that if either of us got up the other had to pause it. Thanks for keeping the flow commercial free. So looking forward to next season!
Everything about this series was stellar right down to MAK dancing on the bridge. I watched the last three episodes back to back and was just amazed at the footage . I felt like I was there with you guys emotionally and spiritually. I am convinced that MAK is the happiest when there’s food in front of her 😂. Til next time! You two stay safe and happy travels.
We love your channel. Every time we watched one of the video in this series I got jazzed up that 3 of your sponsors helped build our rig. I hope we run into you out on the trail!
Sad to see this journey end.
Us too!
Fun watching as we make our way to a summer in Alaska. Hitting Dawson Creek tomorrow!
You are in for such a treat!
Bravo!
Thank you!
Thank you for this series although it seemed over too soon. We, too, brought something home in our hearts when we returned to Virginia after experiencing Alaska and Denali NP. See you soon!
What an enchanting and beautiful series this has been to watch and the finale and especially the short monologue was wonderfully thought provoking. Now I’m just waiting patiently for your next series.
This is why I travel! You Convey it well! Nice Job!
Thank you so much 🥰
We enjoyed every episode of this series. Captivating and inspiriting. Hopefully some day we get to do it! Good work indeed!
Wow !! Perhaps your finest hour (video/experiences/observations) so far. Nothing more to say. Go well !!
You guys are very talented! I always enjoy your videos!
So curious to see Watson Lake "Sign Forest". I passed through there several times in the very early 80's and then it was a mere quirky curiosity. Now it appears to be enormous....Wow! Trust me, although my time in Alaska ended almost 40 years ago, many memories have stuck with me as clear as the air and water were the first time I entered her territory. You will never forget.
Great season! Thank you for the amazing videography and outstanding emotional imagery.
You definitely could be film makers. Your editing, photo shoots, and video graphics and composers are stunning
There are no words that do it justice......
You are so kind! Thank you!
Have LOVED all these videos. So happy you guys are starting a Patreon as I really want to be able to watch videos like these every week, not just as series.
Well we will not be able to churn out video like these every week as they take us about 6 weeks a piece to make but we will have more for you all for sure ❤️
I'm so glad I found your videos on my newly acquired computer. I've lived in Alaska almost 30 years and have had alot of adventures myself, the bear trips being at the top of my list, been to Katmai almost 20 times! Your experiences were awesome and I look forward to yor next trip.
That’s incredible and we sure do too ❤️
A wonderful series and such talented creators! You guys are an inspiration. Thank you for this visual goodness! 🙌
those time-lapses are jaw dropping!
Realy enjoyed your Alaskan Series, Ive been to Alaska 5 times and have barely scratched the surface of things to See, Ive been to some remote places including Teller AK on the Bearry Sea, Nome, Skagway and many places inbetween!
Just wow. You continue to inspire adventure. Just simply incredible. So much gratitude. See you out there.
Back in 1996 we drove from North Dakota to Fairbanks for work. In BC we went from Vancouver to Prince George, west towards Prince Rupert, and north on Hwy 37. The Cassiar Hwy. At the time more than half of that stretch of road was unpaved. On the unpaved sections you might as well have been back in 19th century. We had some fox run along the truck. We saw moose. We saw grizzlies. It was an amazing experience!
Was the entire stretch of Hwy 37 paved when y'all made the drive?
Thanks a ton guys! Enjoyed every one. Your both very talented and make a great team. ☺️
LOVED the entire series! Storytelling, photography, videography... everything just flowed beautifully. I was in Alaska at the same time you were and we visited some of the same places (such as Katmai) so this series holds a special place for me. I know the next adventure will be fabulous too (and I can't wait to see it)... but hard to beat this one!
As a single 52 yr old nomadic wannabe, thank you!! I loved the series, your videography, the storytelling, it makes me want to pick up and drive!! Thank you again for the series, it was amazingly beautiful and I’m sad to see it end!
We’re sad too but we know this will put us on a path to so many other incredible things 🚀
The meloncholy(?) of the ending of this series is tempered by the anticipation of your next.
I can hardly wait!
Thank you very much for your efforts to share these adventures with us!
Thank you so much! More good stuff from here!
Just spectacular! Thank you for sharing your incredible journey and creating an amazing documentary.
Absolutely blown away by the emotion and heart put into this series. Beyond being just videos and photos, you have truly made art through this series. Thank you for giving us all the privilege of tagging along on the journey of a lifetime.
Wow thank you so much as that is one hell of a compliment. The pleasure is all ours. It was a joy to make, though challenging, but it really lit our souls on fire! We're so glad that you enjoyed and can't wait for whats next!
Kinda wistful. Thank you for an extraordinary series.
You are so sweet! It was a blast to put together
Your opening animation is stunning! Thanks for a great trip through Alaska.
Extraordinary video, beautiful photos and such clear and heartfelt narration. Wonderful presentations throughout. And yes, I'll be looking forward to you next adventure.
I have enjoyed your adventures. Thank you for letting us in on it all. Your inspiring me in so many ways. Sad to see this end. But grateful I can play it over and over again.
Thank you so much for this stunning, heart-wrenching, beautiful series. Every time I'm in nature my soul settles into something I've struggled to put into words that I'm always chasing but you guys seem to capture that un-nameable feeling. I lost my younger brother unexpectedly in February and getting outside and been the only thing to remind me I'm still here and going to be ok eventually. I feel like you guys get that. And looking forward to this series has been a bright spot in my weeks. Thank you again, looking forward to more of your adventures
Really loved this!! Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking capture footage!
Great work filming and editing.😊🐶
So amazing! 👍
Thank you so much 🥰
Such a great series! You are an exceptional storyteller. I look forward to your next adventures. Stay safe!
Such an incredible series! 👏 Thank you both so much for putting in all of the hard work required to make this happen!
This series has really raised the bar for whatever new adventures comes next. Frankly I don't know if this can be topped, pretty friggin' incredible. I think Alaska has left a serious, serious mark on you two. Thank you for this, great work.
It sure has. But we feel so ready for some new horizons. Ha! We will do our best as we always strive to do better every time we share!
More sad than finding myself at the end of each video is finding myself at the end of this amazing series. Thank you not only for being so adventurous but more importantly being so very creative and bringing your adventure to the screen here in my home that faces my comfy recliner. Alaska is the last remaining of the 50 states for me to experience and you both have showed me so much of what is waiting for me. I can’t wait to see what is your next adventure. Thank you.
Incredible series. I'm hooked.
Thank you so much Steve 🥰
Thank you for sharing your journey, you both are an inspiration to me. What an incredible Alaska experience! 🙌🏼
great finale!!!
Thank you SO so much!
oh wow... I SO hate to see this end. Alaska is such an amazing place and you guys have captured its beauty in every frame you've taken and every adventure you allowed us all to come along with you. It's brought me peace even if but a for a few minutes every week... and, it's brought back so many memories of our time spent wandering up there. Thank you. Anxious to see where the next adventure takes you.
Thank you so much! Alaska really has a habit of changing you (for the better)! Nothing but good stuff ahead!
What an amazing series and an equally amazing trip! Thank you
Thank you both for sharing your story.
I live in Seward, Alaska. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this series!! So well done Mak and Owen. I feel like I almost know you personally. I look forward to future travels.
That means so much to hear! I hope we did your home state justice. Clearly we’re smitten 😘
This was beautiful to watch! Amazing videography. I can't wait until my time comes and I can live on the to road
Loved it, absolute greatness! Thank the both of you very much…
That was wonderful, thank you!
